If I cancel my contract, I've reported them to the better credit bureau and also with the attorney's office. They have had 4 of my accounts now since December 2025, and haven't settled any of them. Meanwhile, my credit score has dropped almost 200 points! They tell you not to worry, it will come back up once the accounts are settled, but they forget to tell you that many times it will take longer than the 3-4 months the sell to you in your orientation prior to signing paperwork. Now, my credit score is so low no one else will touch me even if I did want to drop them and use someone else. So disappointing. Find someone else! read more

They do not tell you the truth in the beginning they do not return phone calls they do not do their monthly follow-up they do not return emails and when you do finally get in touch with somebody there they do not document the information you have called to give them . Think twice before using this service. The communication is terrible, half what they told you is not true. Been over 6 months with them and they still have not contacted companies. just be aware of the company that you're dealing with. They start processing your payment the day before you tell them to take it. Maybe they don't realize that some of us still get paid by paper check and we have to go by and physically deposit the money. I've had to go open a new checking account because they kept trying to take the payment when it wasnt there. read more

Do NOT use this company. I am 26 months in to working with them and CuraDebt. I pay for a legal service they said I did not need. I insisted. Well, you definitely will need legal service OF YOUR OWN. They DO NOT negotiate in a timely manner with creditors who are KNOWN TO SUE (LVNV, STENGER & STENGER FOR EXAMPLE). On multiple occaisions I have made settlements and have STILL BEEN SUED BECAUSE THEY DON'T SEND THE AGREEMENT TO THE PLAINTIFF! Unreal. YOU CAN'T REACH ANYONE AT THIS COMPANY! No email, phone calls or texts returned. They send lots of "We look forward to talking to you about your account" auto texts and emails, but GUESS WHAT YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT YOUR FILES OR ACCOUNT! The couple of times I have reached someone who was supposed to be a "manager" or "supervisor", they assure me they are looking in to my situation and will contact me back and they do not! NOT EVEN WHEN I HAVE A LAWSUIT! I tried to settle these accounts months before being sued, but you can't even reach a negotiator. THEY SAY YOU CAN'T TALK TO A NEGOTIATOR, SO HOW DOES THAT WORK? Every day is a new story and lie. I am in the process of hiring my own legal representation to recoup for sure the "legal fee" I have been paying for over 2 years, hopefully more. When I signed the contract with you people I was told my debt would settled between 36 and 48 months. Debt Blue told me what to pay and it was $282.01. As of today I have paid approximately $15794 dollars which I think that this would have covered my debt according to Debt Blue. My first payment was on 01/04/2021and to me 56 months should have taken care of my debt. Apparently contracts don't mean much. fuck these people I ask these people to change my date a simple quest, I thought. But these people made it more complicated and I'm tired of it. I asked these people to change the date so that my payment comes out when I get paid. I've been doing that for a damn month now. tried this to resolve a high credit card interest that was racking up. I turned off automatic deposit from my bank, but the credit card company continued to take money from my account. debtblue took over $1000 and did nothing to resolve this. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! read more

When we closed our account with them, they told us we are going to get a refund of $484 that was in escrow. They did not return our money and charged additional fees after closing date to avoid paying us our money. This was shady. From the reviews it looks like it's how they do things read more

This is a very helpful program. They have made good progress in paying off my enrolled accounts. My credit score took a hit but they told me it would. My score has now come back up. I can't believe there is no lawful recourse available when there are obviously so many people who have been ripped off by this office. I am going to look into it if anyone is interested. I will get back to all of you!!! I do not see the point of speaking to Jennifer. There was no confusion. I was given one update at the very beginning and then no more. I was told that the credit after paid would be removed from my record and that was a lie. That was the only reason I actually signed. I hate being lied to. There was no confusion involved. There was lying involved from your agent and I signed the paperwork too quickly to read it through so when I finally did I was angry at the lie. And I also checked my credit rating and found that the accounts were immediately closed and it had dropped from mid 600's to mid 300's. I was sick. So no I don't think there was any confusion. When I decided to change I was told there were 2 accounts settled and paid and 4 in works. Then I find out none are. The vindictive agent cancelled all of them and kept all the money except for 410.00 the bank sent me. I paid in 2000. She paid it out as bonuses to employees for good work for a job well done. BUT NONE WAS ACTUALLY COMPLETED!!!!!!! If I could rate this service a minus 100 I would. Totally unprofessional!!! I was in management and worked at 911 during my adult life and it was a job I loved. If I could put no stars I would. They take your money, and then don't communicate with you. I ask multiple to see the bank statement for the global holdings account and of didn't get any of that information before they start taking money out of my account. Terrible! I enrolled in a debt settlement program with debt blue on October 15, 2024. They were supposed to contact my creditors to negotiate a settlement with those credit cards. I included in the debt settlement program. They have not contacted any of the creditors. They have consistently lied to me about contacting them and negotiating a settlement. Their CEO, is nothing but a fraud and he needs to be prosecuted for fraudulent business conduct. read more

They are not honest. They tell you that you will pay for three years then it goes to whenever. They charge 25% of your original credit card amount. Most of the time you will pay more per card than you owed. You can do what they do yourself. I have been sued by creditors 2 times going through the program. They have to make up their own reviews. Please be aware, this is NOT a DEBT CONSOLIDATION program. Debt Blue waits for your accounts to become delinquent and into collections before settling with the creditors. They don't even attempt to reach out to them. They manipulate the accounts that are settled, they don't give you clear information about where your money is going. They charge a ridiculous amount of money on their fees. I signed for 30 months and they did not finish paying off my creditor. I told them I want to end the program because I signed up for 30 months and they threatened that all the money that I have paid off to a creditor will be void and would have the original balance. I advise anyone looking at these debt settling companies to STRONGLY steer clear! They all talk to you like 3rd party hard core collection companies, they belittle you, have attitude problems, are not customer service friendly, are condescending & treat you like you're stupid! Who wants to pay to have someone treat you like that?! You can call your creditors & have that happen! Over the years I've called a number of these types of companies & the calls always end with me hanging up, getting into a screaming match or cussing them out. This one I had to hang up on the first person who was rude & attempting to talk down to me. When I tried to stop her because I wanted to ask a specific question she talked over me & scolded me as if I was her child! I hung up on her rude ass! The next one was worse because he tried to talk to me like I was a total fool. I asked him the same specific question, he proceeded to lecture me, tell me that I didn't know what I was talking about & had a ruder attitude than the first one! He never let me talk, when he did he interrupted because he thought he was smarter than me. He said the debt settlement co. I'm currently using was ripping me off, that I wasn't being told the truth etc. Just plain BS is what he was talking! I've used the co. I told him about since 2013 & have SUCCESSFULLY paid off 2 accounts with zero problems because they make MONTLY PAYMENTS to creditors when they agree to a settled amount!! I'm on my 3rd creditor who will be paid off by 2/2021! They settle for less than the amount owed, then agree to a monthly payment & time frame to pay it off. All have been 12 months or less paying off! I was hoping to find another company to help me get the debts paid faster but haven't been able to find anyone to assist due to the harsh attitudes at these debt settlement companies. A lender referred me to the company I currently use & have had a great relationship with them from the start. I didn't want to file bankruptcy, this was my way of rectifying with my creditors. They're not happy getting less but something beats nothing any day! They DON'T talk to people like they're stupid but my success rate with them is WAY better than it would be if I had to deal with these sleaze bag creeps! I absolutely DON'T recommend this company for any reason or any of their competitors. They take your $$ every month & treat you like crap. I want my creditors paid on a monthly basis & that's what I get from the co. I've used for years! My first time calling Debt Blue was today & my first impression was bad. I don't need to fight with companies to do business with them. I've successfully settled a few of my debts myself & worked out payments with them. I've paid them off in 12 mos. or less. I still have 3 to go & believe I will be successful if I stick with the same company.
