We had Decorating Elves do the front of our Development and they did a great job until the lights kept going out we complained several times and they came back one time and fixed NOTHING. The whole Christmas Holiday the lights were off on most of the front of the development. Very Disappointed and we paid quit a bit of money to do this, we will never use them again !!!! read more

I recently used Decorating Elves for outdoor landscape lighting installation. Every step of the way I experienced excellent customer service. I initially had the estimate done prior to some other work I was having completed(driveway excavation/renovation). The designer assured me that work could be coordinated as needed. When I was ready for the 'elves' to get going on the job; they were right on it. They professionally marked the spots for the light placement and were always available to communicate about what I wanted and needed. All of their staff(from office to designer to installer) communicated when they would arrive to do work, be available for calls and accept emails. The lighting is as beautiful as I imagined, or better. When I had one issue that I requested be changed/revised; they were there the next day to fix it. From beginning to end....Decorating Elves is the real deal. I would recommend them for any job, big or small. They also do holiday lighting designs as well. You will not be disappointed. read more

Had this company add landscape lighting to our front yard, everything went ok. Had the yard re-sodded and the machine pulled up the electrical line. The machine was set for an inch 1/2. They came out to repair. I was told at that time that the original installer should have dug a 6" trench, which this obviously wasn't. He did a great job repairing the problem and was on his way. I received a $95 invoice for this repair. When I called and explained why I shouldn't have to pay this invoice since it was not done correctly in the first place (the tech just pulled up the rest of the line by tugging on it), the Owner got irate, right off the bat, without even asking for an explanation. Totally unprofessional, I couldn't believe this was the owner I was speaking to. I told him I was planning on adding a pool to the backyard and was going to be in need of new lighting but there was no way I was going to give them another dime. If you use them, pray that nothing goes wrong. What a short sighted business plan, lose a customer over $95 and have a negative review written about your company, over something that was done incorrectly in the first place. And I think he knew it was wrong, the repair guy even told me as much, I was trying not to throw the repair guy under the bus but he told me it was done incorrectly. read more
