I ordered, blinds, shades, shutters for my entire home…read more The shutters I wanted were double hung. bottoms can close independently from the top and the top can be left open for air flow with the bottom closed for privacy. The woman who came out to take my order did not understand my request and I got window shutters that were all one piece with just the louvers able to move (there was no separation in the shutters). When I called and spoke to the owner, she understood what I wanted/requested and said since most people don't order that type of shutter her salesperson was unfamiliar with them. In order to resolve the issue, she ordered what I did want, and I had to pay the difference as they were more expensive. No concession was ever made by the owner in terms of customer service or my additional wait. In addition to the shutters being wrong, the shade I ordered for my kitchen window was the wrong size as the salesperson mis-measured. The initial order I made took over 3 months to come in and then I had to wait several more months. No concession was ever made for this either. So finally, the new shutters came in and were hung. They were exactly what I requested except they were cheap quality and there is over a 1 inch vertical gap right down the middle of the shutters. I asked the installer why there was such a large gap, and he blamed it on my window frame and made it obvious he was annoyed with my complaint. I called the owner and sent a picture and told her I was very unhappy. She basically said unless I could send her a picture of what I wanted and had in a previous home she could not help me. She also claimed to have called her manufacturers, and they all said they were unfamiliar with what I wanted. So, the end of the story, no concessions were ever made to me, no money ever refunded and I hate the shutters. I will now need to spend more money to replace the awful shutters that I have on two very large windows. They look absolutely awful.

Initially, Rich helped me with several simple privacy blinds and I looked through samples for the bamboo shades I had in mind for my family room. Tony invented a great solution to our problem with a pair of custom adjustable inside shutters. He measured our window very carefully and placed the order with the factory. He warned us to expect 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Exactly 7 weeks later, he brought a pair of shutters that were perfectly sized to our unusually-shaped window. He arrived almost 2 hours later than our arranged time. Wasn't a big deal. He did a decent job with the lights. He could not hang all the shutters due to humidity and said he would come back to finish the job. I paid him the remaining $400 when he came back July 11. On July 15, I texted Justin to let him know a shutter had come off the house, and another was close to falling off. It is now Sept. 6 and after multiple texts and several promises to return, he has not been back and has stopped responding to my messages. The second shutter did come off, as well as a third. Please do not hire Justin/Knuckle Busters. I feel bad writing a review like this, but I am not sure what else to do at this point. I feel my messages were reasonable and it's not like I hounded him every day. I just want the job I paid for to be finished satisfactorily. It's not a lot to ask for.
