I would have written this review the year she mangled my teeth but she wasn't on yelp then. I was hoping to warn people that not only is she unqualified as a dentist, she destroyed my teeth with her Invisalign hack job. It's a bit long but please do read to save yourself from permanent damage. I went in on a referral from a client, I just needed a minor adjustment on two teeth. After having braces many years prior, they were moving inward. My smile had been my best feature my entire life, a family trait, so I strongly expressed that I wanted nothing else to change. This woman is quite the actress and assured me she was the person for the job. An expert and even had to correct other orthodontists even though she's just a dentist. Sounded impressive! Being self employed I was on a tight budget so she kindly allowed me to make payments plus, it was such an easy fix, what could go wrong? A warning would have been that upon a standard exam before we started the Invisalign, her assistant is the one who pointed to a dark spot on a back tooth that she missed. Good thing because it was full of decay internally and needed a new filling. Next she does an assessment and orders 8 trays, an easy fix like I said. Next appointment she's SHAVING my teeth down and within a month I had neck pain out of the blue. 3 trays in I'm in horrible pain, have a strange lisp, unable to eat anything solid and my looks are drastically changing in a not so good way according to an honest friend. It gets worse. By tray 5 my family overbite is smashed in and 6 upper teeth are facing inward so far they are banging against the lower 6. Every time I ate or spoke, they hit. I was in agony 24/7. Then I saw a picture of myself laughing at my birthday party and was unrecognizable. I looked like an old lady with no teeth since the top 6 were shaved down and smashed inward facing the back of my throat! I immediately went in, panicked and showed her the photo, explained I was unable to eat or speak without agony so she devised a plan to TRY and fix them. How on earth did this simple job take a turn like this? Because she has no idea what she's doing. And having a conversation with her was too overwhelming for her and she had to leave the room to go cry while I was panicking. Clearly not stable. How were we going to pull these teeth back to where they were? The upper bone was even smashed in so the skull structure was affected as well. This will take years, if even possible. I knew I was in trouble but I had no more money and it was her responsibility to fix this botched job, only she wasn't capable. I gave up when her assistant cut off the numbers on the next 2 trays and instead of ordering 2 new ones so we knew which tray was next, she sent me home to decide for myself which one FELT right! Insane. Now I'm in real trouble and begged 3 other newport orthos to help me but they wouldn't touch me even though I was in tears from constant pain. They wouldn't touch me because it was so bad and probably didn't know how. I finally found the most amazing doctor who's team literally saved my life, I was that hopeless. They are true doctors who took their oaths seriously. The treatment was expensive so I reached out to Dr Rich's office several times begging for my $6k back, which I most definitely deserved. She ignored my calls. I finally spoke to her insurance company, provided photos along with a full description of what happened. We went through the long process and they concluded with a justification for reimbursement, she just needed to sign off. She refused because I wouldn't allow her to fix them! What an awful person. The whole experience with this woman ended up costing me $20k out of pocket. And because she shaved my teeth down, I will need to maintain the bonding they had to do to replace the teeth she shaved off for the rest of my life while never look the same as I did. The experience was so traumatizing and she couldn't care less. I'm so glad I just found her on yelp. I've wanted to warn people for years of the medical problems and financial ruin she caused so others don't suffer as I did. I can't believe she's still in business. Please stay far, far away from this unstable and unqualified person who happens to have a dental license. read more

Dr Rich is an amazing dentist. She is thorough and very gentle. She did an amazing job on my dental implant. No one can tell the difference from my own real teeth. I have been going to her since I was a kid. Trust me you're in great hands. read more

I stumbled upon Dr. Rich's yelp page by accident, and I wanted to put in my 2 cents ... I was petrified by dentists and after way too long went to see Dr. Rich, we had exchanged emails before my appointment, she answered all my questions and reassured me as best as she could in writing. I was embarrassed at my first appointment due to my way overdue dental care but she was very understanding and put me at ease. Long story short ... Dr Rich referred me to her colleagues for anything she deemed needed to be done and took care of all the esthetics, I could not have been happier .. and after almost 14 years I would not hesitate a minute if I had to do this over again. I am grateful for Dr. Rich and her staff. Shout out to Ann, my hygienist ... she is the best! read more

Dr. Rich is a very nice person and an excellent dentist. I came to her with pain in my jaw. She recommended Invisalign to correct my bite. I am happy to report that the discomfort is gone. Her office is run well with a great staff. I believe that she really cares about her patients. I could not recommend her more highly. read more

I went to Dr. Rich because my dentist recommends her and he was correct. After almost 50 years trying with different dentists and different treatments finally I ended in the best hands. I am very sensitive to pain and to all type of dental treatments. I am one of those patients that get traumatized after bad treatments when I was young; all this trauma and bad experiences changed with Dr. Rich and her amazing and unique assistant Sandir. They are the best of the best, they will take care of you with a very respectful manner and they are very efficient. As I mentioned I tried many treatments until Dr. Rich suggested to use Invisaling. Now after two years I can smile again, I do not have any more the trauma with a dentist, I do not have the headaches that I used to have due a wrong bite. I am very grateful with Dr. Rich, with Sandir and the entire team at Dental offices. I don't have enough words to thank her for her patience, understanding and amazing and great job. I will always remember the first day that I saw her because she changed my life, she was able to help me with something that I always wanted that is to smile to the world. I went to Dr Rich for Invisalign because she came very highly recommended by my dentist. I found her to be extremely detailed and precise with her calculations in the adjustments over the course of my treatment. Her knowledge, I believed, shortened my course of treatment while correcting my bite. I no longer have jaw pain or migraines. . And I could not be more pleased with my smile! Dr. Rich, you your husband and the other dentist in your office who treated me were cheaters, did a poor work, caused physical and financial damage and lied to me. I was not satisfied with your service as YOU know that it was not completed even within your limitations and knowledge. I had no choice, because a refund was not given to me when you were ill and I was fulled into believe that you would return and finish your work. Not to mentioned that you were not the right orthodontist/invisalign qualified technical to handle my case that were beyond your standard qualifications at that time. Unfortunately I was not educated enough on that time to know it... I can not believe that actress you were portraying what you were not with all your psychology talk and at the end I was cheated at my health investment.
