I spent 30,000 dollars for ugly gray dirty dishwater veneers. Not only was he completely rough on my face my veneers are only a few months old and they look like they're twenty. Life changing is what comes to mind when I contemplate my experience with Dr. Zak, Jesse, and the staff at Simply Veneers. I am a 59 year old man who has 4 kids and an amazing wife of 28 years. My transformation is nothing short of miraculous, in my opinion. My early experience with dentistry was not good. I never had "white" teeth, so in my mind, I had no reason to take good care of them. I had a bridge put in place after I cracked a molar, and it eventually disintigrated in my mouth. The bridgework destroyed two good teeth in the process and looked so bad that I did not want to even open my mouth, much less smile. Over time, my teeth really began to deteriorate, as you can see from the picture. My health was being affected because I feared going to the dentist. I was referred to Simply Veneers by someone I met who had incredible looking teeth. I asked him where he went to get worked on. I wanted to wait to write this review until I forgot the veneers were even in my mouth. I wanted a really natural restoration of what I already had. Too many years of TMJ and grinding my teeth made composting bonding not an option. I had really sensitive teeth so I was always hesitant about getting full on veneers. Dr Zak really knows what he's doing. Every option was explained to me really clearly. Even some I did not know existed like adding transparency for a more natural look. I went through two sets of temporaries. Each time we made little tweaks a were very accommodating, they were happy to send things back to the lab to make sure they were perfect. I experienced some sensitivity after my permanent veneers were bonded to my teeth. The simply veneers team were happy to see me for aftercare follow ups and final touches do my teeth. You never know picking any new professional these days to do work or especially fixing something that broke. Well I broke a veneer . I called a few places and everyone was all over the place with price. I put it off a day and in the am got a call from Jesse, an actual followup these days. Took x rays made molding I had broken a bottom front veneer in half and I was fitted with a temporary and was on my way. All in all a good experience and was going to be called when my new veneer came in. Came back for my new veneer and it went pretty good as well and I left but as I was getting into the car and looked in the mirror the veener was not a good fit. A little too thick in front and too wide at the bottom and short at the top and let Zac's office know. They Immediately reset a new appointment and we called my dentist who did this the first time got the right color and compound and they redid they molding. Zac took his time with and and we collocated together as the process went on as this is as much art as it is science. Fitted here some contouring there and I left with a veneer that looked like it has always been there . I took those recommendations and the fact that it's an extremely local and convenient location. From the first phone call I was greeted by a very sweet assistant who fit me in in 4 days rather then weeks to months away. The bonus at the end of call was her telling me it was a free consultation. Well! That in-itself was enough to look forward to coming in and feeling great about it. When I arrived I was greeted personally by Jess. You can't help but notice how beautiful she is and beautiful smile. I do think that makes a difference when being the face you first see. She's extremely sweet and was very helpful in the initial process of paperwork and bouncing opinions and treatments off of. When a mom came in with 2 young kids, she printed out coloring pages off her computer and passed out crayons to entertain them as their mom went in for treatment. I thought that was very sweet. The consultation absolutely wonderful and I very well informed. Dr. Zak is awesome! He has a great personality, demeanor, and wit. He goes through numerous ways to treat, with a very easy to comprehensive way of speaking. The level of professionalism conveyed by Jesse on the phone was unparalleled. She listened to my concerns and happily recommended Dr. Zak for questions beyond her scope. When I arrived, I noticed the office was fit for one patient by design. A consultation with Dr. Zak is you receiving 100% attention from him and the entire staff. (This experience was entirely unlike other consultations I've had with other dentists, where I felt rushed, unimportant, and unaware of what my results could look like. One should not feel this way when considering anything cosmetic on their face and paying a decent amount of money.) Dr. Zak is so friendly and very approachable. I felt as if I was related to him by the level of treatment I received from him. As he does with all his patients, he prepared a PowerPoint presentation for me educating me on cosmetic dentistry, the solutions he can provide, the work he has done, and more. This was very informative and helped me understand the process. Mind you, the entire staff was in the room and added their professional opinions and what role they would be participating in the process. After the presentation, he answered me honestly about what he could do for my smile. My case was complex as I am a patient with a cleft palate and a smile not fully corrected by an orthodontist. (To give you an idea - my top front teeth weren't centered, I had a gap between the two and the entire left side ascending up towards my molars.) Dr. Zak had his work cut out for him. My bottom row of teeth wasn't of my concern. What I appreciated about Dr. Zak was he kept saying, "if you were my son..." I did not feel he was trying to swindle me, a common practice among other dentists. He listened to my concerns and gave me a realistic idea of what my smile could look like with the FREE Smile Tryout. For the first time, I saw an idea of what my teeth could look like. I was already in awe because I'd never been remotely happy with my smile. Price was one of my most significant points of concern. Due to his level of expertise and other various factors, I knew Dr. Zak might be a little more expensive than other dentists. Dr. Zak explained to me cosmetic dentistry is an art. Sure, you may pay less at another dentist, but will you be happy with their art? He told me many of his patients are patients from other dentists who were unhappy with the art they received.
