I went with my Daughter for her cleaning. It was her first time with this provider so she was nervous and wanted me to stay with her in the room. The male assistant was very nice and said I could stay with her. The dentists came in and said I need to leave the room. I asked her if I could stay and she said "no, your Daughter is 14 and can handle it." I know how old my child is and she asked me to be there. I told her she wanted me in the room because she was nervous. The dentist was very rude and repeated that she was 14 and would be fine. Then she said she had to do xrays and I couldn't be in there. That I understood and if she started with that I would have left right away. She kept taking very rude and I told her she didn't have to explain herself. She said "yes I do, I'm the Dr" Again, I know how old my child is and the dentist didn't have to be a b*#%h, all she had to say was I'm doing xrays and you can come back as soon as I'm done. Well, where do I begin.. I have never felt so comfortable in a dental office like I did at Newport Smile Studio. I went in because I wanted to get Veneers, but as many people's concerns is getting your teeth shaved down.. luckily I came into the right office, Dr. Etemad only buffs your teeth and does not shave your teeth!!! Dr.Etemad was so informative, with every step she explained what she was doing and why she was doing it. She made me feel at ease! I was treated with a lot of care and patience. Wow! I cant say enough good things about this place. No joke- I went somewhere before this that said I had 16 cavities and I was in complete disbelief!!! Luckily my friend Jimmy works here at Newport Smiles so I was able to be seen by Dr Etemad within a week. I came ALL THE WAY FROM LA JUST TO SEE HER! There is a GOOD REASON I DID! She is so patient, kind and most important HONEST! She works with most insurances so don't worry about that! Everyone here makes you feel right at home and takes really great care of you.
