I wanted to spread the word about DJ, who did my wedding hair & makeup this past December. We got married in Maui, and needed someone who could help both me and my mother. Our wedding coordinator made two suggestions, and we went with Deejay's Endless Glamour. DJ is wonderful! She arrived out our hotel room right on time. For our hair, she patiently listened to what we wanted. She took her time so everything looked "just right." She even took my hair down and re-did it, to make sure I got what I was hoping for. We LOVED our hairstyles (and the fresh flowers she added - nice touch!). We were smiling from ear to ear when she was done. As great as our hair was, DJ's makeup was even better! I think she loves makeup as much as I do, so we had a blast comparing colors and talking about our favorite brands. When she held up the mirror to show me what she'd done, I was blown away. It was just perfect for the occassion. Not too little, not too much. Great in person and great in the pictures, too. Even my mother, who hates makeup and never wears it, was happy about her "wedding makeover." But here's where DJ showed how generous and kind-hearted she really is. I mentioned I'd gotten a manicure & pedicure right before leaving. The manicure turned out badly. DJ took one look and said no way was she letting me walk done the aisle with bad nail polish. She spent an extra half hour repainting my nails and didn't charge me for it. I was totally embarassed, but that's the kind of person DJ is. If you're in Maui and want to get dolled up, for any occassion at all (even a night on the town!), call DJ. Especially if you plan on taking pictures. You'll be so happy you did! read more
