The second time, my polish started peeling off in less than a week. I went back today to have that failed manicure cleaned. The tech was nice, but while removing the polish, she burned my nails, multiple times. I think she had her drill tool turned up too high. She did a good job trimming my cuticles, but left several of my nails with sharp and uneven corners. I will try again in a few weeks, and hope that I can get results like I did on my first visit. The first time I came, I asked for natural looking dip and they made them very chunky and I had to have the manager file them down afterwards so they looked normal. And the lady who worked on my nails was very rude to my friend and I. The second time I went, the actual work looked good, but I they weren't following hygiene protocol and overcharged me significantly . The lady who gave my manicure was about to use used cuticle cutters on me and I had to remind her to please get a sealed sanitized bag of tools instead. Then they charged me separately for each manicure step. First they charged to remove the old dip, then they charged for the normal manicure (like filing my nails, and cutting my cuticles), plus a separate $60 charge for the gel! In total, they charged me $120!! I've gotten my nails done for several years now and in several more expensive states like California and New York and I've never been charged anything close to that high. Also, this was for a standard gel manicure without any special designs, French tip, massage, or anything like that. After all of that, their recommended tip selections were 25-30% smh

The place smelled of really strong acetone, which I found a little disturbing. I was seated within a few minutes and was also offered a complimentary drink right when I was seated. I did the classic pedicure ($35) and it was very relaxing. She went a little too deep when cutting my cuticle so it did hurt a little. While this was happening, I was debating on whether I should get a manicure and after asking my tech some questions about the different services they offer, I decided to get Gel-X ($55). This was my first time getting it so found the process very interesting. It requires many steps and the tech took her time, especially shaping the nails that I requested. I'm very pleased with the results and glad I decided to give this place a try. It will take me a bit of time for me to get used to long nails since I normally have short nails.

The lady who did my feet was absolutely perfect, and my experience with her was great. However, the woman who did my nails was honestly very unprofessional. She repeatedly kept asking me if I wanted gel polish instead, and after I said no, it felt like she became rough and careless with my nails. I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the pedicure service was wonderful, but the manicure quality was unfortunately less than mediocre.
