I had a very disappointing experience today. I've been a loyal customer at Million Nail Bar since 2016, and this was by far the worst service I've ever received. Kendra was the tech, From the beginning of my pedicure, the technician was very rough and aggressive. Her nail drill kept dying, so she had to stop multiple times to put it back on the charger. During the pedicure, she applied lotion to my legs while they were still wet, placed the paraffin wax directly onto my feet without rubbing it in, and then tossed the hot towel onto my legs instead of wrapping my leg properly. When it was time to paint my toes, she pulled out the toe separators, and I asked if she was going to remove the remaining pink polish since I was getting white polish. She used the drill to remove it, and afterward I politely asked if she was going to wipe the dust off and apply alcohol before painting. Instead of simply answering my question, she became defensive. She insisted that she had already used alcohol and even told me I could ask to see the security camera footage to prove it. She then told me that I needed to pay better attention to what she was doing, even though I had been watching the entire service closely. She brought over a coworker and claimed that I said she never used alcohol at all, which is not what I said. I calmly explained that I was only asking if she was going to clean the dust off before painting and also shared the other issues I had experienced throughout the service. Overall, I felt dismissed and disrespected as a customer. The quality of the pedicure did not meet the standards I've come to expect from Million Nail Bar, especially after being a customer for nearly 10 years. To make matters worse, I'm not happy with how my toes turned out--they don't look good at all. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this experience was completely unlike the level of service I've received there in the past. read more

Came here from word of mouth and I'm so happy that I did! I'm a hard to please, picky, tough cookie lol, so RARELY do I ever leave a nail shop smiling, happy, and super excited. But Tyler, did such an incredible job that I couldn't stop fangirling and smiling everytime I looked at the finished product of my nails. He really made my day, because they turned out so BEAUTIFUL and he brought my vision to life :) He was patient and very helpful as it took me forever to pick out 2 nail colors (I ended up going with his color recommendations and I'm glad I did:) Also, he was like Speedy Gonzalez with my fill/design. The service here is absolutely horrible. They sell you one price and by the end you ended up paying way more than what they started with. I had asked for a single acrylic toe nail b/c it was shorter and she left me with a chunk of acrylic without shaping or filling any of it. She then proceeded to charge me $5 for the acrylic and $5 for the french tip i asked. The french tip was barely there, she didn't even try to make it clean, and when i asked her to fix it she said it looked good that way and started giving me an attitude b/c i didn't like it. She also tried to sell me a package i didn't want, saying it would include more, then when i got it, she did the exact same thing the other package included. The service is HORRIBLE! Kimmie treated my sweet & innocent daughter VERY BADLY. She over-charged her by $20 one visit. When we had the manager to correct it, Kimmie had a terrible attitude and then denied her service as retaliation! I believe she is racist along with others there. DO NOT GO THERE! Also personally, a male tech there verbally assulted and embarrassed me in front of customers. He stood up and yelled at me, because he was frustrated because of his poor performance with my nails. Well... I ended up paying $40 for a acrylic refill a REFILL. They literally charged me 4 dollars per finger for applying ONE nail bead and a top coat. Mind you there was no manicure done, no addition of tips, no color acrylic used. I'm so upset because I had to get them done due to my work schedule and their hours... so if you're reading this please think about it and if you don't mind wasting money then by all means pay for it. From now on this makes me want to do it myself, it may come out looking the same and I save money. Typically I don't give reviews, but this place overcharges the hell out of their prices. They produce decent nails, but this is not even a nice or updated area. It's also right off the highway where you have to make weird turns even to get there. It definitely should not cost me $103 to get my nails done. Let me explain, I previously went there and got a Dip Manicure and Gel toes, which I was upsold on the gel. I was previously gonna do regular polish on toes, but then was convinced the gel lasted longer and it only lasted me 4 days. :( I've never had that issue with doing regular polish, but I was like ok whatever they lasted long enough for the pool party I went to I guess. I went back to get my nails taken off today because typically I only get my nails done for special occasions now and thought today why not get something more simple to try out. I did dip on my nails minus any extra nail tips and added chrome. Chrome is plus $15 per hand and toe set which I was fine with. As for my toes I got the old gel removed then added new gel plus chrome. A lot of places that I go to never charge just to take off the old gel or dip and they charged me way extra, ($14 extra for hands and $14 for toe gel removal) just because they took it off. Then they added the new set price plus chrome so all in all it was a removal fee, then regular set fees, and lastly plus chrome fee. I had to pay $103 for this and looking at it, they're definitely not worth $103. This is just disappointing and I will not be returning. Not worth it period!! read more

I asked for a fI'll and cut down, the tech cut my middle finger down to short, when I bought it to her attention and she completes the process, then asks me if i wanted her to fix it. I was so frustrated, she called herself fixing it and everything was worse. Long story short, she cut corners and when I complained the manager wanted to make a scene and told me she refund the services but didn't, she got ghost and another tech that put glue and powder. this is a true mess, never again will they get my money. We asked for another 20 mins in massage and the technician looked dumbfounded, saying she can't do it because they were packed. So what are we? Not customers? Secondly. Upon insistence from family I went back to this salon shortly after uploading my first review under the assumption that I would not have to deal with Christy again. Upon entering the salon I found out that they did not have my appointment on their calendar and was informed that Sarah the nail tech I was supposed to have my appointment with was with another client and I was asked to pick the color I wanted. After about a 15 minute wait o was finally seated yet still waiting for Sarah, my nail tech. Upon seeing me sitting there waiting, Christy LEFT her client, whose nails she was working on, and came to inform me that if I were to get my nails done here again Sarah would be the only one dealing with me as everyone else is scared of touching my nails due to my previous review. Christy went on to tell me that if I wanted to continue getting my nails done at this salon I would have to take down my review because Christy felt offended by my review. After this I left the salon and have not been back since. If I could I would give this salon ZERO stars all because of the horrible experience I have had at this salon due to Christy. read more

I wanted to give a quick review of my past 3 visits here. Each time we have come in without an appointment, and have received a prompt & friendly greeting. Currently, I have acrylics with pointed tips and on each ring finger I have a special 3D Black Rose with rhinestones. I am rough on my nails and they last me 2 weeks. I am very comfortable having Ivy as my nail tech. She is very friendly, accurate, and fast. There are other techs that I have had great experiences with (Sarah and Lynn, to name 2 more). I have tried a couple of the pedicures and have found my favorite is the Diamond level @ $55. I have tried their Platinum @ $65, but personally I'm not a fan of the jelly pearls (don't like the feel between my toes). From my personal experiences their quality of work is excellent. I will continue to use this salon for my acrylic fills and pedicures. read more

It's okay here. More disappointing than anything. I'll list out the cons and then the pros. My technicians were nice besides the fact that they spoke a lot of Vietnamese. My nails were $90 and my toes were $65. Price didn't bother me. Except I wish my nails looked a little better at least. I got a little flyer in the mail that said it was 30% off everything. And it's all over their receptionist desk as well. Upon arrival my friend and I waited about 15-20 minutes before being approached. And then our services started about 10 min after. My friend was already annoyed by having to wait but we get it no appts and it's a new salon so not enough techs no biggie. My pedi was alright, nothing so great about it even though both of us had the top pedi. What really bothers me is that upon check out they told me they were not doing 30% off. They chose to do buy one get one 50% off. What bothers me most is when I told the receptionist that I wanted 30% off and not 50% off for one (she gave me an option) she still did the 50 and then told the manager after we had to dispute it. The manager comes and I ask her can I get an itemized receipt cause I just want the break down of how she charges everything. After a little going back and forth she finally got the tech Ivy (who did my hands) to come and punch in an itemized receipt. She first charged me $50 for an ombré full set and $40 for "extra" Then when she typed up the itemized receipt The break down was: SOLAR COLOR FULL SET - $37 SPECIAL SHAPE - $5 GEL TAKE OFF W/ SERVICE - $5 DESIGN FOR CRYSTALS - $30 DESIGN FOR MATTE TOP COAT - $5 CHROME - $8 (2 fingers, 2 half fingers) Total came out to be $90 + my 50% Off pedi which should have been $32.5 My TOTAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN $122.5 They charged me for $144+ for tips I just didn't think it's worth it. I mean I've paid over $200 for my nails in Houston. But as a new business you're going to let a client walk away unsatisfied is really disappointing. I've also posted photos of my nails. The finger what was suppose to be "dripped" looks sort of like a....I'll let your mind wander. My matte black finger with studs, you can see the unevenness in the matte black My right thumb is bulgy and really thick and instead of wiping off the matte she just applied the glossy top on top of it so now it's bulgy and uneven. I will tell you guys this first: THEIR CHROME ONLY COSTS $1-$2 from BORN PRETTY. ITS THE CHEAP CHROME AND IT SAYS BORN PRETTY ON IT. WITH THE SAME AMOUNT SHE CHARGED ME I COULD HAVE BOUGHT 4-5 JARS OF THEM. The two stars is because my diamonds came out good except for my pinkies because she paint matte over the studs so they look dulled and she didn't paint the matte on the sides of the studs so they look half matte half not. But even with the rhinestones she didn't apply any top coat so now in between my stones I'm collecting dust and lints in between. All the photos I will post is going to be from today. After leaving the salon I have posted this so it's not even a day later yet. Another reason for the two stars is that my pedi was decent wasn't horrible but it will pass for now. I'm just trying to validate the services is all. Tell me if I'm wrong or whatever I'll bump up a star if I'm being too much but ya know. Oh btw. Clearly I got a flyer in the mail that says 30% off all services. That was a lie. Apparently it's not given until end of the month. But I know for sure they gave other people 30% off because I heard them Talking about it. Once again disappointed. AND MY FRIENDS NAILS She paid $30 for a design and you can't even see the encapsulated 3D rose. It literally looks like a blob. But we're stuck with this for the next two weeks maybe. I might just take it off tomorrow to be honest. I'm so anal about my nails so it bothers me that much. But it is what it is. The manager didn't do anything much so I figured there's no point in arguing with her. Another thing is the chair is soooo uncomfortable. Our butts were hurting the whole time. I was here one week ago for a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was great but my nails were a huge let down. To start the color I selected from the nail samples did not match the color that was applied. Secondly my first nail lifted on Thursday not even a week later but they were nice enough to fix it free of charge the next day. Unfortunately the rest started to lift and even como off easily by Sunday. $65 dip and tips "LONG" that's considered long for an extra charge (new owner partnership since opening) Since this placed opened it had been my favorite place I would go every two weeks, it's nice inside, they have more colors to choose from than anyone else I've ever been to (which is key for me) and the service had always been pretty good. I had one time the bad to be redone and I came back and the owner redid the whole set herself and was very kind. After I had my baby last year I hadn't been back until today. I said what color I wanted a showed a picture. I wanted to see the one he grabbed on a sample but he said there wasn't one and ensured me when it dried it would be the same (it was not the same neon color the powder looked, that's why I wanted to see a sample). Then we sat down he said very few words to me, never offered me a drink, never mentioned the prices went up (website shows different), he never mentioned he was charging extra for tips length (same length I've always gotten) bc I even had him go shorter than when he started, he didn't do the nails the way you dip the nails in the powder each layer he does where he wets the brush which I don't like so I can see through my nails bc they are to thin, they do look nice. When I go to check out he gives the total I leave and tip and as I'm finishing the payment I'm asking about the prices bc they are not the same online like how the size says they charge more now. I didn't even finish my sentence and he walks off after the payment goes through. Nail tech was Dung-Erik. The new management Jackie is off on wed which is when I got them done. I asked for them to have him contact me either he was there or they added him to the line. He apologized for the customer service had me send a pic of the nails to his cell to confirm prices. He was very calm, kind, and apologetic. His resolve was for 10% off next visit which is not much considering why I was complaining. This was the best nail place we've been to! My girl loves to get mani/pedis, and always likes when I go with her. I am not a huge fan myself, but it makes her happy and so off I go. We've been to a number of different places over the years. This was the biggest, brightest and cleanest we've seen yet. Huge inside - the biggest I've seen for a nail place ever. Several big TVs playing sports are on, no sound thankfully. We sat in the usual massage chairs off to the side in one of these mini-rooms they have - it was great - no one else was in that area so it was like we had it to ourselves. I very much like the chars are ground level and not awkwardly elevated like some other places. Much easier to put your things down and for you not to trip getting in and out of the chairs. They have little roll carts in between all chairs so you can put your stuff on there and have easy access during the process. They do the usual foot treatment - nice job all around and we loved it. They did my nails while I was seated but my girl went to the other tables to get gel-dip things done to hers. They did an excellent job on them and I went over after I was done to watch. Excellent job - polish/gel was very smooth and perfectly done. I would highly recommend this place and especially if you have a few girlfriends and want to do something special together. read more

My new go to salon. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with who you get but overall the staff is friendly. (I think I read a review where someone mentioned that they spoke too much Vietnamese? I'm sorry, but that is their first language and chill, MOST of the time they're talking about their personal lives (except you, they're probably were talking about you.) I have a go to lady and she can shape a nail so good. I also like that they provide drinks (2 max) and best believe I get my two to offset the price even though the prices are reasonable imo but I never really get crazy designs- just dip. One star off because the receptionist could be more friendly and I find myself waiting (even with an apt.) often or they rush you to sit down so quickly. They also have SO MANY color choices which is a good or bad thing depending who you are. Ha! The atmosphere is also really nice and clean.
