My friend credits Dr. Joseph Garber with saving her vision when she came back from vacation with a detatched retina, so she called to see if I could get in for an emergency appointment. Thank God they got me in within a few hours, to see Dr. Gina Rogers. When I arrived, reception was warm, & I was called back to a room quickly. Nora numbed my affected eye to gently measure my eye pressure, gave me a vision test, and then documented my detailed optical history, symptoms, and pharmacy to call in prescriptions. Dr. Rogers came in shortly after. She was warm & compassionate as she thoroughly looked in both eyes. She prescribed me 3 different things, to be thorough. By the next day, I was feeling much better. I am so grateful to the very warm team who got me in so quickly! I am so grateful to Dr. Rogers for letting me squeeze into her schedule when I was so miserable. My friend has recommended this practice to others for years. After my emergency visit, I saw why. I highly recommend too!

10/19/2021 Just got…read morehere at 1725 on the 9th floor. There are about 3 different eye offices on this floors so make sure you have the right one. One I finally figured it out I went to check in. The assistant handed me a stack of papeará to fill out, standard procedure I understand. My problem is I filled out all these forms beautifully on their website and submitted. The page gave me the, successfully submitted response! Boy was I wrong, yes I had to fill them all out again. The assistant gave me the ole "sorry I'm not seeing it here," routine as if to push the blame on the me the customer. What's scary is these people are going to be digging into my eyes with abrasive tools and shooting lasers into them. Technology has come so far right? I was born in the 80s and hearing that definitely would sound like science fiction. The reality is though we have come that far, yet seems this place can't keep electronic, electronic paper work in order. It's basically an email from me to you with a PDF. Yet I am so bold as to still be sitting here writing this review. So we gained a star. For five my writing and spelling I can't see really well. I have those crazy drops that dilate your retinas. I hate them. The technician who took care of me was wonderful gave me faith that this may go well. Still waiting to see the doctor. Some reviews I saw had stated the wait time was poor. Also, there are a ton of people in the waiting room. My assumption is there is only one doctor which is bad looking at all of these people. Well it ended very well. Dr. Epstein was very informative and made me feel at ease giving me options for my condition. You may have also read my Yelp for Panton Eye Care. They were not good at all. Here however, it was cut and dry here's the issue, here are the options let us know when we can schedule a procedure. I really like the let's solve this problem type of business. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Dalporto. Not only was she unprofessional, but she provided…read moreme with the wrong contact lens prescription for 2 years. I had difficulty seeing anything up close with the contacts I wore that were based on her prescription. Reading books, checking my watch, or reading on my phone was impossible due to the blurriness. It bothered me for 2 years, and I was very frustrated with the issue. I asked her to adjust the prescription several times. She made slight adjustments, which were not helpful. She finally told me she could do no more, or I would have trouble seeing things far away. She also told me that it was normal to have blurry vision while wearing contacts when looking at things close up because contacts are different than glasses. This was incorrect information! I wasn't sure what the problem was, but I figured it was my eyes. Eventually, due to the discomfort, I gave up wearing contacts unless it was absolutely necessary. The issue was finally resolved when I took a trip to Taiwan and consulted an optometrist there who told me that the prescription Dr. Dalporto gave me was entirely wrong and too strong. They said that she should not have simply given me a prescription based on whatever the vision test machine determined. Every prescription needs to be adjusted based on each individual's lifestyle and habits so that anything--both close up and at a distance--can be seen clearly and comfortably. I received a new prescription, and when I tried the new contacts, I immediately noticed a huge difference. They were so comfortable, and I had no trouble seeing or reading things on a computer, on my phone, or close up. The problem I had with blurriness that had been bothering me for years was finally resolved! Now I can wear contacts again--every day, all day. I went back to Dr. Dalporto and asked her to adjust the prescription on file based on the new prescription. She simply copied the numbers directly from the Taiwanese prescription and checked my vision. It was 20/20, of course. Had she actively tried her best to help me achieve the most comfortable and accurate prescription years ago, I would not have suffered so much with blurry vision when trying to see things close up! When I complained, the office manager was cold and impatient and didn't apologize for all the trouble I had been through. Instead, she asked me, "Is there anything else?" At this point, I was so fed up with this mess and so shocked at the customer service I received that I decided to change optometrists completely for my own vision care. One of the fundamental jobs of an optometrist is to give correct, comfortable contact lens prescriptions to patients. If they fail to provide an accurate prescription, it raises serious doubts about their professional competence. This experience proved to me that Dr. Dalporto doesn't care about her patients' vision, nor does she try her best to solve the vision issues they have. Instead, she is very passive, only does what she is asked to do (but poorly), and performs vision tests that a robot could do. In a word, she is incompetent. Don't go to Dr. Dalporto. She is totally unprofessional and won't give you a correct prescription!

I gave them my vision insurance info and they said they accepted it. I got a call a few days later by a women at the front desk asking for my insurance. She told me the call center said that (why is a call center telling ppl if they approve of ins or not???) she said she would look into it and get back to me. I never heard from her. I called the AM of my appointment which I got a text confirming the appt but the office had never heard of me and didn't have my appointment. The women at the front desk were beyond rude! I would never even make another appointment there again.

Dr Dima is generally very sweet but when I came to her with bad and persistent shoulder pain, I ask if she'd advise physical therapy, as I assumed that would be the best first step. She told me we should wait and see if medication would help. When it didn't help, I went back. She asked if I had started physical therapy and when I told her I hadn't, she smiled at me and told me (I felt with condescension) that this would ideally be where I would start with treatment. When I told her ~she was the reason I hadn't~ she pivoted. Saying "ah yes that's right" and moving on. I have been charged for appointments that I had already payed for. I have waited hours and hours for an appointment I was scheduled for. I have been asked to come in to renew prescriptions that I had not run out of refills on. I will not be returning to them.
