Horrifying and terrible experience from start to finish seeing Dr. Dobryansky for a broken nose issue. DO NOT GO HERE FOR NOSE SURGICAL ISSUES. It started with a miscommunication between the doctor and the office on surgery scheduling and the nurse was extremely rude to me when I already confirmed with the doctor. Second and more importantly, Dr. Dobranksy did not communicate or educate well AT ALL and had poor bedside manners when asked questions. I had a broken nose and showed a picture and was told (since going through INS and not cosmetic) that "the hardest thing to do is straighten a broken nose" but then said "I could do it though". I should have done more research myself, but naively thought I would be guided and educated by the doctor. He made my cry right before my surgery after showing a picture again, was so rude during my post op follow up/his nurse was EXTREMELY rude and my nose looked EXACTLY the same (nothing like the picture I showed where his words were exactly "I can get you to that"). He simply should have said, I can't do what you are asking for ... I felt scammed with his miscommunication, dishonesty and lack of education to the patient. I had surgery for no reason. His staff was extremely rude throughout a hard process (as it is dealing with your face) AND to top it off - they never called my medication in before surgery, he said there was no stitches on the outside of my face and after leaving I realized THERE WAS anddddd they didn't follow up ONCE post surgery...insane and terrible experience all around. read more

Alicia is super gifted! I've never met an NP with her skills and ability to make changes to your face.. without making drastic changes to your look. I went in hesitant to get my lips filled because I didn't want to look fake. Alicia managed to keep my same natural look but with more plump. Have been coming here for a few years now and I do enjoy the products and services. I love getting facials, I always book my appointments online. I just don't like how the aestheticians try to talk you out of/convince you to do a different type of facial when you arrive. I'm wondering if this is a commission based tactic? read more

I was hesitant to write a negative review, but I am still upset several weeks following my facial appointment and feel this feedback may help a future customer make an informed decision. I was extremely upset when my aesthetician mistook a beauty mark for a blemish and attempted to extract it to no avail. Several weeks later, and I still have redness and swelling where the error took place. I reached out to the manager requesting a refund for the faulty service but was told that I would have to come back to the salon to have the issue remedied which I was obviously uncomfortable with. Additionally, they tried to up-charge and up-sell me for things that were clearly not applicable for my skin type. Overall, I left Deep Blue Med Spa feeling like they were more concerned with making money than they were with giving me a thoughtful facial experience. I think you would be much better off going to an independent spa where I imagine they would honor their client's requests in a more understanding manner. read more

Had the worst experience. I had an appointment but waited an hour to be seen. After finally getting a room I was told the services I booked were not prepared. I was then left in a room for another 45 minutes and was forgotten about just to be told the receptionist made an error when booking and that I would have to come back another day. They then tried to still charge me. No accommodation was made for their error just an oops. No attempt to rectify the error. The receptionist talked to me as if I should just be okay with their error instead of being sympathetic and empathetic to the unconvinced. It was very unprofessional and should've been handled better. Very disappointed because I was excited for my treatments. read more

Laura Brucculeri is a medical aesthetician working at Deep Blue Med Spa's Babylon and Garden City locations and I can't say enough good things about her. I met her for the first time when I was new to the area and she first did their complimentary Visia Complexion Analysis. It showed exactly where my wrinkles, large pores, etc are. We discussed both skincare routine and my goals for my skin. She listened and gave her feedback, never trying to upsell me on more expensive services or products. We first changed some of my skin care routine (she honestly told me to keep most of my remaining products that were comparable to Deep Blue Med Spa's products), then did a fire and ice peel, and now are doing series of Clear and Brilliant laser services. She has excellent bedside manner, spends good amount of time with me and is a great conversationalist. I already see results and my skin feels healthier. My goal is to not have to wear makeup to cover up my acne scars and I trust Laura's professional advice will get me there. I highly recommend Laura. No matter what your skin goals are, you'll be in great hands with her! read more

I went to see Melissa today to have my lips corrected from a previous injector. I knew I'd have to get them dissolved today but was really nervous as I haven't had deflated lips in years. After multiple consultations with multiple doctors for my Chin and Jaw line that always bothered me, I decided to use Dr. Dobryansky. I can not say enough good things about him. He's honest, he takes the time to listen and explain options from start to end. I took his advice and I am now super happy with my chin and jaw line. I also use him for any Botox I want. He is not pushy and if he thinks you do not need something he will honestly tell you. I would add more than 5 stars for him and his staff if I could! read more
