This is a small low key spa without all of the frills and amenities, however loved my 80 minute CBD massage. Miriam, the massage therapist is petite but strong and delivered a great deep tissue and stretch massage. It was absolutely perfect! We were staying in Kanab & decided to book a spa day after a lot of hiking. The drive was beautiful to Five Petals, through Zion & upon arrival it was even more beautiful at Five Petals. Service was amazing & everyone was so kind & welcoming. The lady at the front desk was just so sweet. We did a couples massage & it was perfect. Pressure was great & just as we asked for it. Overall vibe & atmosphere was so peaceful. A tranquil spa near Zion National Park. It's also on the Virgin River and that instantly puts you at ease. I discovered this spa tucked away at the beautiful Cliffside Hotel when I stayed here last year. They were able to get me in for a last minute hot Himalayan salt stone massage which is lovely during cooler months. The hot stones gently soothe away an accumulation of stress, tension, and pollutants. I came back a few days ago to try the Zion Essentials massage which was wonderful as well especially when the hot towels are applied to help the oils seep in and deliver the healing properties they have to offer. I can't say this enough to everyone. Make time for yourself. Don't feel guilty about it. Enjoy each relaxing and blissful minute as we all need that downtime to truly unwind. I've passed by these place several times & always wanted to try it. My gf booked me a massage the day after our half marathon. Super excited about it, however was bummed when she originally made the appointment, they only had one appointment left for that day. We decided to stop in hours prior to my appointment time to see if they offer day passes to use the facility while I have my massage session. Come to find out, they had another massage therapist available, so we were both able to get a massage at the same time (not a couples massage). We were excited since we both needed it. We got there an hour before our massages to enjoy the facility & relax a little prior to our service time. The customer service was great. Everyone was super nice. I took a few stars off because: Sauna was out of order. Which we knew beforehand, but still was a bummer. The pool & jacuzzi was located outside, which wasn't ideal because of the weather not being good. So that was another bummer. The lavender lotion in the locker room needed to be replaced, as there wasn't any when I tried to use some. The tea upstairs in the waiting room, was a good variety, however the tea pot was not turned on, and we didn't know how to turn it on, and lastly our massages were at 6p, however they didn't take us to the rooms till about 6:10p. Being both of us are massage therapist, that's not ideal, essentially they were late picking us up. Luckily they did give us the full 50min, but still. Nothing was said to us, just waiting and waiting. Overall, it was a nice experience & I would give them another shot. But for the price, and lack of amenities, I wasn't too pleased read more

We had access to the pool and hottub which were both outdoors, and were able to eat lunch by the pool by getting food to-go at Anthera (on the property. We were nearing the end of a 3 week road trip, heading home to Palm Springs. After 3000 miles in the car, I was so ready for a relaxing massage. My therapist, Amber, was so highly skilled. Lovely welcome by receptionist (Makayla?) who walks you downstairs to the changing room, gives you a luscious robe and rubber slippers, and sets you up with a locker for your stuff. I walked up after changing and sat in the waiting area. They have water and tea, and the most incredible view (including wandering deer!). Sara was my massage therapist and it was one of the best massages I've ever had! The massage bed is heated and adjustable so once you lay down, its adjusted to your body's curvature. You choose an essential oil scent that is used during your massage. She used a hot towel to wipe down my feet and used warm oils to massage my body. This place is amazing. They open in Sept 2020 and has been flourishing ever since. Messaged after hours (8pm) on yelp to check availability and they were responsive! The facilities are clean and welcoming and full of natural light. Couldn't quite tell if the changing rooms were unisex since there was a urinal but didn't see others while I was changing. The robes provided were soooo soft and warm. And you get some yummy chocolates! Best of all.. RYAN! The most amazing massage with his hands. He's very attentive and will listen wo what you like don't like and your focus areas. I know all masseuse "listen" but he is legit and zeros in on your gnarly knots! What an amazing experience! Five Petals Spa is beautiful, welcoming, and the staff is wonderful. They recommend you arrive 30-15 minutes early, which was very nice because it really added to the whole experience. The front desk assistant kindly showed me around the spa and invited me to relax in my robe in the waiting area (with complimentary tea and water!) while waiting for my masseuse. The waiting area was very comfortable and peaceful, the space really prepares you to feel relaxed before your massage! My masseuse was named Miranda and you could tell that she knew what she was doing. Before the massage, she asked me what I would like to focus on today and I told her my neck was feeling very tight and my leg muscles were sore from working out. She listened to me and was very in tune to what my body needed right away! Miranda let me choose an essential oil to use during the massage and that was such a great addition to it! After the massage, she gave me great advice on how I can stretch my body and take care of it. It is clear that the staff at Five Petals are very educated on the muscles of the body and how to release tension in them. This place is stunning, just from walking up to the building with the towering walls of Zion all around you and the deer in the grass next to you it's amazing, once inside it's just the same, greeted and led to the showers where there is a steam room that will get you relaxed for your coming treatments, after a quick shower to clean up and put on the robe I'm led into the relaxation room that feels and looks as if I'm outside sitting at the base of Zion's walls, My therapist came to get me from there and take me back to my room. What an experience! My message was amazing but the whole spa made it a great experience. The view is breathtaking, of course, it is in Zion. The spa is so inviting with a friendly staff. My boyfriend booked couples massages while we were in Southern Utah for our Zion trip. Our $200 total included spa amenities, the massage, and a nice dinner at the restaurant on the property. Paige and Amber were our masseuses and they did a fabulous job. I definitely would recommend this spa, but I do suggest confirming that their hot tubs, and saunas are working. I had an opportunity this past weekend to visit Five Petals Spa at the Cliffrose in Springdale, Utah. I'm local to St. George and I love to drive up often to visit Zion National Park and spend the day hiking, driving and photographing all the beautiful scenery. This weekend at the end of the day it was my treat to stop in at Five Petals Spa at the Cliffrose and receive a massage from Ria. The experience at Five Petals starts as soon as you enter the grounds. The spa is tucked behind the Hilton hotel in an area backing to an open space with views of the gorgeous mountains all around you. The beauty of the environment enhances the serenity of the spa. As I entered the spa, I immediately noticed the feeling of peace and calm.  It didn't feel like a stuffy high end spa, it felt like coming home. No mistaking, though - this is definitely a high end spa. No detail is overlooked at providing comfort.  From the color scheme of soft neutrals, to the aromas to the decor - everything has been thought of from the viewpoint of style and comfort. I even noticed the light bulbs in the hallway were stylish, haha. I was immediately greeted by two smiling faces. After checking me in, my therapist showed me to the changing room and provided me with a robe and slippers.   The changing room was beautiful and cozy. There was a small seating area and places to change,  shower and use the restroom.   Lockers were provided so I could change into my robe. I was already impressed with the spa before this point, but I am telling you.... the robes at this spa are PERFECTION.  They were comfortable, soft, warm and so cozy. I seriously need to buy one. Apparently they are for sale,  they're THAT GOOD. I didn't ask about the price, but whatever it is - it's on my wish list. After changing, I crossed the hall to meet Ria, my massage therapist. She was like a ray of sunshine - welcoming, friendly and comforting. She helped me settle in my room and discussed with me any areas I'd like to focus on and preferred treatments. She made sure I was comfortable and the temperature was to my liking. As she began the massage, she inquired whether I'd like her to refrain from talking for my comfort and relaxation - and I always appreciate when the therapist asks upfront. AND, because I'm me, I typically speak through my entire treatment. My therapist was experienced and obviously very knowledgeable. She was kind and friendly and just a great person to be around. She gave me a very relaxing, deep massage.  It had been months since I've had a massage, so my body was tight - but she focused on the problem areas and really tried to work out some of the knots. This is a sign to me of an excellent spa and therapist,  because she wasn't just going through the motions with the typical rubdown, it was customized and catered to my specific needs. When she used a tool on me, she took the time to explain the benefit of that tool and how it works. She also talked to me about other therapies she specializes in and mentioned some treatments I could try to target specific needs I had. I would love to visit Five Petals Spa at the Cliffrose regularly as it was the perfect oasis in the middle of Zion after a tired day of hiking and being outdoors. I can't recommend a massage here more highly - and I'll definitely be back for other treatments in the future. If you're a local, give yourself time to hang out in Springdale and eat lunch or grab coffee at one of the local places. The vibe in Springdale is really fun and it makes for a great day to just get away from normal life in St George and feel like you got a vacation day! read more
