Charlie had been my stylist for many years prior but I had gotten away from him in the past few years. I was wanting to get back on his schedule for regular appointments. About 1 hour before my scheduled appointment, the owner of the salon, Donna Thall, called to notify me that my appointment was cancelled because Charlie was uncomfortable with doing my hair! One hour before my appointment when I had been on the schedule since October. I had been a client of Charlie's since he began his career. Never, ever did her tell me while I was in his chair I made him uncomfortable. I was flabbergasted by the remarks and was totally devestated. I went to the salon anyway to speak face to face with Charlie only to find another client ready to jump into the chair that had been scheduled for me! I guess I was a nobody in their eyes and the other client held way more importance! I have supported this business since it's inception with pedicures, manicures, purchasing gift cards, etc and then to be treated like a nobody! The owner is to blame here, not her employees! She is very demeaning, judgemental and not a person that makes you feel welcome when you walk thru their door. Beware! The business deserves NO STARS but you have to add one in order to post!

I was there February 4th 2023, so the outside of the building looked a little gray but once inside it was wonderful. You are welcomed with some ocean sounds and a beverage station; bottled water, hot tea and coffee selections. I walked up to the sign-in window and signed a waiver, and did my paper work then was politely ushered to the back. My therapist was Judie and she walked me to the room, instructed me on how much I should strip down, where I could put by things, how to lay on the table, and what she would be doing. This was my first time ever receiving a massage so the information was happily welcomed; I obviously am not a good listener though bc I forgot to take off my necklace and we had to stop to do that lol. Laying on the heated table I was a little intimidated as to what to do during this massage. I'm a talker when I'm nervous and I always feel weird not filling the silence; however, that nervousness soon flew away as the massage started. There was a pleasant noticeable smell in the room that was neutral, there was some meditative music playing in the background and of course Ms. Judie doing what she obviously does best. The oil she used felt warm and the rocks felt amazing. At first I thought they felt too hot but once Ms. Judie moved them around it was just pure relaxation. During the massage she checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable, of course I was...I was in utter bliss. Ms. Judie was gentle and sure with her movements, the amount of pressure used felt perfect. I don't know the words to describe how wonderful she did and how relax I felt throughout the whole session. After 90 minutes my time was over. She told me to take my time and take it easy when getting ready as I could feel light headed. I felt like a puddle, I was so relaxed, it was like its own high. I begrudgingly got dressed (lol) and met her out front to make my payment (well to meet my husband who gave me the money to make the payment lol). She gave me water, reminded me to drink up and that it was normal to feel hungry and get a headache after. I never got the headache but I felt sore the next day as if I had gone to the gym for an hour. The whole experience was amazing. Even though I live an hour away I may have to make this a more common thing. To wrap up....the facility on the outside is a little gray but the inside is clean and welcoming. It was a truly different and relaxing experience. Afterward we both agreed 1 hour would have been sufficient. We both got bored in the last 30 minutes. It would have been great if we could have fallen asleep but neither of us did. I chose total darkness for myself but with music. The Epsom salts in the water make it impossible to sink. If you are claustrophobic I would recommend you skip it as you are enclosed in a pod. You shower first then enter the pod then shower again after. It was a wonderful experience but for me in future I think I would choose an hour massage over it. Though they say you will feel the benefits of magnesium absorption over the week to come. I will happily come to try different experiences here they were wonderful.

The experience and results were amazing. My formerly dull, problem skin is now glowing and looks at least 10 years younger! In the past I've wasted so much time and money on dermatologists, they just write an Rx and tell you to cleanse with cetaphil. This treatment has been a game changer for me. Three weeks on I'm still enjoying the results. The spa is a very tranquil, soothing environment, so easy to relax there!
