Though we can't tell you about shower areas, we can tell you about what we'd experienced THIS time. The restaurant was clean. The servers were prompt, friendly, courteous and attentive. The food was good and they were very happy to offer to correct the overcooked fried eggs! Unfortunately, they are still short staffed. My grandparents lived in Colorado Springs growing up so a final stop in Limon on the way into the Springs or on the way out has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and the rest stops have had their highs and lows over the years. As a child we always stopped at the Colorado Gifts rest stop, which was chock full of trinkets and was super fun as a child. As I got older though, they never gave the place a facelift and it became a pretty sad sight. Nowadays I usually pick the one that looks the best from the outside and having had good luck at TAs across the country we decided on this one for our pitstop on the way home to KC over the summer. I have to say, in terms of other Travelcenters of America locations this one is a little average, if not a little below average in terms of cleanliness and overall modern appearance. It was fine, and fit the bill for what we needed, but it could use a bit of a facelift to meet the standards of similar locations I've visited across the USA.
