I miss the 1 on the Ave. but still a great New Bedford staple. Never had a bad experience. Everything is great, not just the hot dogs. Hamburgers & linguica are also tasty. Stuffies I believe come from The Whaler, so those are also quite good. Highly recommend! read more

I've been coming here for over 20 years and I really couldn't believe I haven't reviewed this place. I think these are the best hot dogs around! I always get the chili dogs and they're packed with chili and taste great. For $5 you get 2 hot dogs, a drink and chips. Great deal and the service is always so friendly and fast! I do sometimes wish they had fries instead of chips, but beggars can't be choosers and honestly after you bite into a chili dog it doesn't matter what else you have with it. Awesome place! read more

Love this place and so does the wife n kids.. idk what it is but you can legit eat so many hotdogs from there. The steamed dogs in the steamed buns at a cheap price. So delicious.. Only negative is I wish they had a bigger parking lot and it's tough sometimes getting in and out because it's right at a corner where there is a street light but as far as the place itself and the food. Before I had a car I would walk here almost everyday over the summer to get a stuffed quahog. They have probably the best quahogs ever. I usually get the hot dog meal and a stuffed quahog. Food is all very cheap. The area is clean and free of trash. Love this place and everybody there read more

Not sure where Sean thought he was going but their other hot dog stand has picnic tables and as far as blinking.. I have been going there for 20 years with friends and family and never had a problem finding it. I would think if someone has been in business in this area for 20+ years..alot of people don't have a problem finding it. I personally think the Chili and Cheese are the best I have ever had. I am guessing my buddies like them too since they order them ever time we go. My wife doesn't like any kind of Chili so she gets the Coney Island or the Chourico and will not eat hot dogs from anywhere else. I can say without hesitating that I have NEVER had a bad hot dog from there. I hope they are there for another 20 years. read more
