Went for an early lunch with some coworker buddies, they've been wanting to show me this little spot for a while. I just got to say, I loved it and I can't wait to go again some day. You can't go wrong with simple staples. Burgers, hotdogs and fries. Grilled and fried right in front of you. Loved being in a cute little diner car and seeing the memorable decor all around. It's nothing luxury but you know what you're getting and it's good cheap eats. It's quite a hotspot so just heads up if you don't got the time to wait a while in line for lunch that the line can get long but they go pretty quick! read more

This is the must visit joint in downtown Attleboro. It's a roadside hot dog masterpiece. The buns are so light they'd float away if it wasn't for the delicious dog and terrific toppings. An old Style "hole in the wall" diner right on the river there's no wifi, you can eat in or take out, the Fare is basic Hot dogs and Hamburgers fries, onion rings and fountain drinks. It's quick friendly counter service and you pay and tip on your way out. The Hot dogs are kayems and they are perfectly grilled and I get mine as cheese dogs with everything. The owners were so friendly and I felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in and was greeted by them. It was my first time here and they were very patient with me because I didn't know the ordering lingo. Super old-school, nostalgic diner with some tasty food to match. I ordered a hotdog "all the way" which I believe had a chili meat sauce, onions and mustard for only $2.25 I added some cheese to it and it was very good. Then I grabbed a cheeseburger for $3.75 and added onions and ketchup. The burger was very juicy and like the hotdog, the bun was fresh and soft. Just an amazing, small, throwback burger. Always a good deal we went the other day it was an early Mother's Day present lunch out for me by my honey we had french fries two chili dogs two regular hotdogs and a soda and it only cost eight dollars plus the tip. I came here with my fiancé and we had a few hot dogs, incredible thin cut fries and fountain drinks. The hot dogs were New York weiner style and absolutely delicious. Not much to look at from the outside (or the inside). But, if you want good food, lightening fast service at an unbeatable value go directly to Tex Barry's. I had a fantastic dog "all the way" which was placed in front of me in 30 seconds flat. Followed by a good cheeseburger and decent fries 60 seconds later. Super soft rolls on both the dog and burger and just enough toppings. Next time I think I will get the apparent standard order of "3 all the way" just like the steady stream of patrons who pop in the front door, pay and get a bag of deliciousness all within 60 seconds. read more

We went in initially looking for "diner" food such as egg sausages and toast, but we found out Tex Barry only offers hamburgers and hotdogs- we stayed anyway and ordered a hotdog with meat sauce and a cheeseburger with fries. It Tex one to know one, and Tex Barry's is owned by a lot of Barrys that you know well. Barry White, Barry Gibb, Barry Manilow, and Barry Thahatchet. WHAT TO GET: Hot Dog WHAT ELSE: There's barry anything else to say. I found this to be a dirt cheap, enjoyable, but unremarkable hot dog, rated exceptionally highly in a small town in progressive, leafy Massachusetts. It's a page out of history with the decor, the pricing and the service more akin to the 1950s than anytime since. If you're in Attleboro and want a diner snack, you could do a lot worse than this. But if you're looking for a boyfriend, you couldn't do much worse than me, to be honest. read more
