I'm sure this is one of those 'once you're in, you're in' places but I couldn't find a single employee where I either understood their service lingo or had availability in the next few days. I'm not rating their service-they seem extremely talented. I was just disappointed I couldn't try them out after spending 20-30 minutes on their site and being within walking distance of their business.

I really appreciated her caring about those things most nail techs wouldn't care about. Her art work is beautiful and she specializes in the "3d nails" that are now popular. Prices are also reasonable. When you set up your appointment with Rachel you don't have to wait hours for her to do your nails and 3 other people's at the same time. From the start, I was already trying to push through the pain. 1. She was drilling the outside of my nails while she was trying to remove the gel I had come in with. 2. She cut my nails in basically triangles or random lengths. 3. She's buffing my toes and not even my actual toe nails HARD AF mind you. 4. She's pulling my cuticles HARD (I don't even grow a lot of cuticle) 5. She finally pulled so hard she drew blood and didn't say anything. NOT ONCE DID I HEAR AN "oh sorry about that" OR ANYTHING. At this point I'm speaking up for myself and telling her she's being too rough. Guess what she said? She said, "your nail is ingrown!" NO THE FUCK IT WASN'T. I have ZERO ingrown nails. I'm telling her to stop working on my feet cause she kept being rough! So at this point she's trying to say "oh well I already cut all of them" and I said I was ok with paying for it, but stop working on my feet!!! THAT IS HOW BAD IT WAS. I WAS WILLING TO PAY FOR SHITTY TREATMENT AS LONG AS IT MEANT IT COULD STOP. She's still trying to exfoliate my legs and I'm like stop! Then she sprays alcohol ON ALL THE CUTS SHE GAVE ME. Now it just BURNS, part of me thinks she did that on purpose too cause you see all the blood coming out and you wanna spray it with alcohol??? Ridiculous. I'm too nice to say anything, but she deserved a great yelling!! She FINALLY left my feet alone and said "it's ok you don't have to pay" SO WTF were you arguing with me for??? Talking about, "I'm almost done with the pedicure" I told you to STOP and she tried to keep going! I left and headed straight to a new business that actually treats people right!! There they painted my nails brown and had to work with the ugly shaped nails. Just to be clear: I got my nails painted elsewhere so all the cuts I got were made here. I truly wish I had spoken up for myself earlier and I would have way less cuts / trouble walking because of them.

They also didn't honor the price on their website for a gel mani/pedi ($65), when their wall said $70, they still tried to charge me $80! I pointed at the price on the wall and they said "oh yeah, OK. 70" My nails looked good from afar when finished but once I got home and looked at them better it was a disaster. My toes were trimmed kinda but super sharp like razors on the edges so I had to trim and file those down so I didn't stab my boyfriend while snuggling. My fingernails were all bumpy and she didn't even take the polish to the edge of the nail by the cuticle. She also cut me on the tips of two of my nails from the corner of the cuticle to the top of my finger. Now a few weeks later since i have taken them off, I'm realizing that she filed the tops of my nails down so much before painting them that they are now paper thin...my nails all broke/ripped off down to the nail bed and some are bleeding and all hurt a lot. I'm having to put neosporin and bandaids on them at night and liquid bandaid during the day. It hurts to touch anything which is not good as I clean for a living. I'm super sad as I had been building up nice but semi short nails recently and now they are ripped and peeling on the top and stubs at the tips. This whole thing has been a nightmare.
