Consistently Amazing! I can't say enough good things about Wheat Ridge Nails. I've been coming here regularly, and this is truly the only place I trust for a powder dip gel manicure. When I first came in, I was super skeptical--other salons had ruined my nails in the past with dip powder, leaving them cracked and weak. But this team completely changed my mind. Their powder dip manicures are strong, beautiful, and last me a month--and I'm someone who's hard on their hands and always cleaning. No chipping, no lifting. Just solid, gorgeous nails for weeks. On top of that, the staff is always so kind and welcoming. They take their time to make sure your nails look great, and while yes, sometimes you might have to wait a bit, it's worth it. I'd recommend calling ahead a couple hours if you're on a tight schedule--they're super accommodating and even flexible if you're running late near closing. This is hands-down my go-to salon, and I won't go anywhere else as long as they're around and I'm living in the Denver area. Give them a try--you won't be disappointed! read more

Linda is THAT girl. I got my nails done in LA and the woman didn't want to shape them the way I wanted nor did she clean up any of the excess gel x that was under my nails. Overall just really sloppy work. I called here for a fill and they were able to get me in rather quickly. She took her time making sure the fill was clean and precise. My nails were reshaped to exactly what I wanted (the other woman in LA wouldn't do stiletto and made them more of an almond shape) and are SHARP. She proceeded to buff off all the excess gel that was sitting under my nails and they look amazing. Please be patient if you walk in as they're a pretty busy shop especially with summer coming. I recommend calling and making an appointment. I've been here multiple times and they haven't disappointed me yet. (The red is recent and the clown nails are from a past visit.) I had the first appointment of the day with Linda. The area is unknown to me as I was traveling from Connecticut and needed a repair and dip powder manicure. Linda was friendly and inviting. I told her what I like and she picked the color. Perfection. I was amazed at how quickly she worked but I could not believe the quality of the work. My nails came out perfectly. It's now over four weeks since I saw her and my nails still look fantastic. I wish I could fly back and have her do my nails again, it would be worth it. Best dip manicure I've ever had. read more

Great spot over in wheat ridge! I'm pretty picky with my my nails as I get tips with dip powder, so I definitely researched tons of places in the west Denver area before trying them. They were great! Fairly priced at around $55 for a full set. So far, 2.5 weeks in to this set and they're still perfect. They said I got lucky without an appointment and highly recommend calling ahead at the very least to ensure you don't wait long. read more

I told them I had gel x extensions on my nails that I wanted to get removed. First off the lady cut me with the drill. After I started bleeding I told her it was gel x once again. She then takes a fake nail and starts ripping the extensions off my natural nails. No soaking or softening at all. 2 of my natural nails were ripped off. Got up and left. Absolutely horrible and now my natural nails are completely trashed. read more

Went to Kim, and she was fantastic. Never got a pedicure in my life but my wife said I'm not allowed to wear sandals anymore until I went. She grated so much skin off it looked like a pile of Parmesan cheese but my feet look incredible now. Would recommend. read more

Walked in on a Saturday around 4p and they took me straight away. I wanted to get French tips and they recommend shellac with French color. Evan (I think that was his name?) was really nice. He dipped two tones to match my Pacific Islander skin perfectly (hate it when I walk out of a nail salon and they make my French tip base look so chalky and fake). These were almost my exact skin match. Added a bit of bling to my tips. Didn't want them too long 'cuz I play sports and I think he did a tremendous job. Highly recommend! read more

I used to visit this salon on a regular basis. One of my best friends needed a pedicure so I highly recommended this place. She lives in Vietnam where she teaches English. She is fluent in Vietnamese. She told me that the owner and another nail tech (she thinks her name was Kim) where talking in Vietnamese making fun of the clients at the salon. Things like "she's so fat, her feet as disgusting, she's a bitch". Just awful things. Apparently this is very common in nail salons (my friend told me) but she was shocked of how horrible their comments were. She said that the owner would be smiling to the customers as she was saying those things. Needless to say I won't be supporting a business that makes fun of the people that support them. Shame on them! read more

Best nail technician in Colorado. I usually get my nails done in California but they (lien) did such a great job with my nails. I'd definitely recommend her. My acrylics were not too thick and actually looked good when I got an almond shape for the first time. She did a better job than my tech / techs I've had In California and costs less. I arrived and it was one woman doing someone's nails in an empty salon...on a Saturday. By the time I sat with her to get my nails done, not a single person had called or walked in. That should have been my sign. I could tell they were going to end up badly from the beginning as she piled on uneven amounts of acrylic. I thought "trust the process." I shouldn't have. They were so bad. I didn't even let her paint them because I knew I was gonna have to take them off. I paid, left and fumed for twenty minutes in the car, then drove off. I was going to have to go home and soak them off, or pay another place to fix this mess. I finally talked myself into calling and asking for a refund. She gave me my money back and I appreciate that but the more I think about it, the less comfortable I feel letting anyone else spend a dime here. They are so bad. Nice lady but maybe don't get acrylics here. These pics are the ones I took the minute I walked out of the salon while I fumed in the car.

While waiting to check out and tip Janna, I watched the man with the white hair speak so rudely to his staff. For the price, the nail techs are trying to push out sales as fast as they can and do not get the time to do a good job. This guy is extremely rude to everyone around.
