I have used defender glass for many years and when changing jobs always have recommended them. I will no longer be using them personally or recommend them to my family or friends. Had them put glass in my car, trusted them to do a professional job, did not babysit them or park my car under the security camera wish I regret not doing so. Came out after working to get in my car after they did the glass or windshield and there was a 5-in gouge in my hood down to the primer that was fresh and not there. Took the car to show the manager and when I showed him he tried to tell me there was dirt in the scratch that I showed my supervisor at work and he rubbed it with his finger to see how deep it was gouged. When I told him my supervisor rubbed it the manager went to the back of my car and pointed out a scratch and said look the car has scratches on it. My car came from Texas and is extremely clean and had minor scratches but no gouges to the primer like the one in the hood where the technician was installing my glass. Unfortunately I have no proof because my car was not under the security camera and the manager denied it and told me he would check with his technician and call me back and I never received a call back. This is the world we live in now today that you have to babysit and watch everyone. You can't trust anyone to work on your car anymore unfortunately. Again I cannot prove it because I did not watch him do it and it's not on camera but I will no longer recommend this business Was not called back and did not even offer to buy touch up paint at the minimum. In the past they have been very professional and have done a good job. Just have a 5-in extremely deep gouge that is fresh in my paint that looks like crap on a nice car now. read more

$670$ off the wall windshield they sold me, according to BMW where it ended up after Defender installed it. They do not hold up to the promise that everything will work if you have rain sensors do not have them put the glass in and spend more money. They broke my rain sensors and i had to get it repaired at the bmw dealer and the Defender people were very rude and would not pay for it. The repairman that installed it had no clue on what to do to even troubleshoot it. Lol, he started googling it to find answers. I laughed at the owner when I told him how it was being handled by him. "GIVE THEM A BIG FAT FAILURE TO KEEP THEIR PROMISE" You will get what you pay for. Do not make the mistake I made and spend another dime or be in my shoes with a dealership bill they won't pay. read more

They cut the wires on my remote start sensor and, tried to hide it. I talked to someone that said he was the owner (Rich) he was rude and had to send out a technician the following day because apparently I'm lying attempted to twist and tape the wires, unacceptable by my standards and also the original installer. read more

they show up without the correct tools to do the job. yes they replaced my back window, but didnt reinstall my rear wipper ot the door moldings. they didnt have a $2.99 tool ro remove the wiper blade from the motor shaft i will never use them again, and i informed my insurance company to think hard about giving them any more buisness read more

The dispatcher was very nice and helped get everything cleared through my insurance within minutes on the first call. They set up an appointment for the next day, called and got my two hour arrival window (he was actually a bit early). Half hour later the glass was installed. I recently had my windshield on a 11 Prius replaced after a stone hit it and cracked it. I scheduled a mobile install by Defender AutoGlass from Elyria.
