I clearly requested light brown, natural-looking brows to match my hair color, and Emma assured me that's exactly what she would do. Unfortunately, the results were the opposite -- my brows were tinted jet black, nothing close to what I asked for. When I expressed my concern, Emma's explanation was that my skin was dry and absorbed the dye, which I did not find to be an acceptable or professional response. To make matters worse, the waxing left my face severely red with small sores that are still present more than 24 hours later with no improvement. I paid $95.00 for a service that did not deliver what was promised and has left me with visible skin damage. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had anywhere. Save yourself the embarrassment and pain and don't go here! This is in response to Emma's comments Your comments are fabricated. You did try to lighten it but it clearly didn't work. I was obviously upset. You instructed me to go home and use shampoo on my brows to try and lighten them. I feel like my review was honest and fair. I didn't mention how you texted me the morning of to change the time of my appointment 30 minutes later. Or how you asked me "If i'd ever come back." Your comments only confirm my statement that it's the worst experience ever! Shame on you!

I personally appreciated that. Another 20minutes for the numbing cream to set in. It felt like a long time at first, but Once you get chatting the time flies by. The actual micro blading took about an hour. Good music was playing and because of the numbing, you don't feel a thing. This of course the duration is dependent on what you need or want. The first impression is always scary--they look dark and and overdone BUT it heals over the following three days and reveals your beautiful new brows! Touch up is included and is scheduled on your way out. My only qual was that the numbing was wearing off before my treatment was over. I have tattoos everywhere so the pain wasn't new to me. It hurts WAY LESS than a tattoo--I promise. Mine was a gift, I can't speak on the cost but I would definitely come back regardless.

She's insanely good at what she does as she pays attention to the shape of your face instead of doing the same brow on everyone, and the result always looks clean and even without looking overdone. My usual brow artist wasn't available, so I had someone else do my brows. Unfortunately, she cut/scraped the skin just below my eyebrow during the service. I have somewhat sensitive skin, so the area was painful and visibly irritated afterward. She did apologize, which I appreciated, and thankfully my eyebrows themselves still turned out fine. However, I noticed that the other eyebrow was done without any cuts or irritation, so I feel like a little more care could have been taken during the service. I understand accidents can happen, but I hope there can be more attention and gentleness when working around the skin, especially for clients with sensitive skin.

Long…read morestory short, She didn't listen to me requesting the color dark brown, which would've been a no brainer since my hair is dark, and shaded me with a reddish brown color. When I reached out to her to fix it, she refused to work on me again, even though she purposely doesn't finish the brows on the initial visit, because she wants you to have a "follow up" appointment, paying an additional $150 in addition to the $650 for the initial visit. This is completely unacceptable and an unprofessional and unethical business practice. After further researching Pigment Studio (I know, should've done it prior), I am questioning if they are even qualified to perform permanent makeup procedures, and if certification with the Health board was completed. Payment is taken in cash or Venmo only and she requests that you do not write eyebrows in the payment reason. All in all, Henna didn't offer any type of remedy when I asked her to fix my eyebrows. (Please see pictures). I am left having to pay someone else to fix the pigment that she chose for me, even though I told her what my preference was, and having to walk around with these eyebrows in the meantime. She also blocked me from her Instagram account after reaching out to her. Book at your own discretion and risk. These are my results.

I don't come super consistently, but whenever I do, I always book with Jordyn. She's amazing at what she does. I just had a session with her and it was honestly painless -- I'm not even joking. The space felt safe, welcoming, and professional. The biggest difference for me was the results. I usually deal with ingrown hairs after hard wax, but my skin was so much calmer after sugaring. It was the smoothest result I've ever had, and I noticed a huge improvement in how my skin looked and felt afterward. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can't recommend Mimi enough!
