Gale is Amazing! I used Gale for my wedding day for me and my girls because she came highly recommended by a coworker who used her for her own wedding. I trialed about 4 different make up artists before I got to Gale. She really listens to what you usually do day to day and she always says the colors you use are "personal." So true! I'm not afraid of make-up, and I used to always try to get my makeup done at counters when I was in high school or for weddings. Never liked it. I had to fix it or take it off completely right before the event. There are make up artists out there who do not listen to what you typically do, colors you dont like, or just do the "regular" wedding make up thinking it will look good on you too. That's what sets Gale apart. Anyone can do good make-up (She can!), but she makes sure the client is happy too. In the lead-up to the wedding, I also got eyelashes applied for other wedding related events (i.e. bachelorette, bridal shower). She is the sweetest too! She goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable the entire time of the application. More importantly, her rates are competitive! Gale did my makeup for my 2011 wedding. Didn't realize she had a Yelp page until now! I went to her house for a trial and we experimented with a few things. She knew exactly what looked good on me. I don't wear a lot of makeup and she respected that - didn't try to convince me to do a lot of heavy makeup.
