He quoted me $160. Before going in I put about 3 hours into it myself getting all the big areas so that he would focus and spend more time on the details and hard to reach places. I brought the car to his house. He took a look at it and said "it wasn't too bad." I said great and left the car there. The next morning I came to pick it up and they guy tells me "I know I said $160, but I didn't realize how bad it was. It's going to be like $200 instead" Starts telling me about the pet hair between and under the seats. I'm like "I know! I told you about it to begin with!" We start having an argument over the meaning of the word "quote." In this guy's mind a quote is just a ballpark price and he can change the price up on you after the service if he feels like it. After a little back and forth he relents and decides to just charge me the original agreed upon price. But now tensions are high, he's pissed off, I'm pissed off, and he hands me the payment processor asking for a tip. Which I would of if not for what just happened. As uncomfortable as it was, I had to no tip the guy right to his face. I left there feeling like a POS. After I got home I started looking the car over and realized I was actually glad and very justified not tipping the guy because he did not even do a great job. He missed a lot of the "details" I took the car in for in the first place. He did a good job on the big areas and a few of the hard to reach places, but not the attention to detail I was expecting. A lot of creases, corners, vents, and other hard to reach areas still have dust and dirt in them. I'm going to have to spend some time in there with a little brush, cleaner, and some compressed air getting to all the "details" myself. I'll include some photos of what I mean, you can be the judge yourself. In conclusion, if your car is new and pretty clean to begin with, by all means, he's your guy. But if your car is really dirty or needs extra attention in the hard to reach areas, you probably need someone with better tools/skills and a bit more pride in his work. About the only thing I liked about his service is that the car does smells nice after whatever products he used. Other than that, a very stressful experience for me in every way possible. Also on a side note. I felt very uncomfortable having to input my debit card's pin into his payment processor as he's holding the device and watching me do it, like dam man can you at least pretend to look away or something as I'm putting in sensitive information? So use a credit card or cash if you don't want the guy knowing your card's pin... Left there feeling like I need change my card and/or pin.

Chris has been in business since Garden City was a little seedier. They are OG Idaho residents. I called, asked for a quote for the interior of my car and I got a quick response. I booked it for 10 days down the road and took it in. My 4Runner headliner was A MESS from dust, water and who knows what being sucked in through the back window. Headliner looks great, carpet restored to new, vinyl looks amazing, and the tired leather has it's original luster. Go see Chris and his team, they did a fantastic job. It was very easy booking Kellen, our appointment was only 3 days out from our booking date. Kellen arrived right on time and after a quick vehicle inspection, he was off and running. Our Cadillac's paint is black and had some swirl marks and scratches. Our interior had some minor scuffs on the plastic and leather seats. Kellen did the most amazing job removing all of the swirl and scuff marks. 99% of any minor scratches were buffed out. The black paint looks like a mirror now. It's absolutely beautiful. I had a situation where my parents were stuck at the Boise VA with a dead battery in their RV. The…read moreVA security guys came out with a battery charger but couldn't charge the battery. They told my parents it was dead and needed to be replaced. I gave Advanced a call and Jay went to the VA to check out the situation before buying a new battery. He was able to jump start their vehicle. What a relief! My parents didn't have to buy a new battery and pay for the install. Jay is one of the good guys! He could have just bought the battery, installed it and then gone on his merry way. But no. He didn't want folks to have to shell out that money if they didn't have to. My dad said that Jay even thanked my father for his service. As a Vietnam Era Vet, that means a whole helluva lot to my dad. Jay was the silver lining to a very difficult day my parents were having at the VA and I can't even tell you how relieved and grateful they were. This is an honest business and I highly recommend them!

Other than coffee, seemed sodas and waters were at a cost. Paying $395 for detailing you think more comp items would be available. Overall detailing looks great. Missed vacuuming out center console. Can't find a detail of what was actually done for that price (and a tip on top of that). She explained clearly what my options were and was not being pushy at all for the monthly membership. Car was cleaned inside out, they even took off all weather floor mats and scrubbed them. Be aware that the wash took about an hr but they did a really good job of cleaning it inside out. This is not one of those quick car washes that will be done in 30 minutes so do plan it accordingly to your schedule. While waiting for the car being washed, I paid attention to the hard working crew which mostly comprised of young kids having a summer job and they are working hard under the heat and sun. I saw Juliana and the other girls who work at the greeter stand walk around passing cold water and ice cream to the crew to keep them hydrated and cooled. They're also handing out cold bottled water to customers waiting at the customer lounge area as well. That tells me how much management caring about their crew and customers. And to top it off, I met with Adam, one of the owners, working along with the crew to make sure everything is in order and he's actually doing final touches to every car before releasing it back to customers. In the end, I was completely satisfied with my visit and impressed with the way the business operates. Can I wash my own car? Yes, but I'd rather go back and pay extra to support this local business and support the young kids to let them know that I appreciate and tip them nicely to encourage them for their hard work.
