I have first hand experience with this school and I'm an elite yelper. So, I thought it was appropriate to review the school. All I need to say is, where was this school when I was growing up? It would have kept me out of trouble and focused. Even my kids that have grown up in the area asked how come it wasn't existent when they were in school. The coaches are A1. The staff is nice as well. I also heard that in the near future they're looking to get a new training facility. I can't wait to see that and what the future holds for this academy. Dehesa Method Sports Academy has been a revelation for my son and my daughter. My son Josiah is gaining so much more than he does just from attending his club practices three days a week. Coach Mo is a top notch football Trainer. They also have a couple of the best conditioning, speed and strength trainers in One family fitness and Marcus Block. The education portion is just as challenging as any top public school. Mr Michael Fowler is and awesome advisor for my kids when they have in person learning and responds as soon as he can to any questions I have. I could not recommend this place any more than I do already. It's been an amazing thing for students athletes in the San Diego Area. DMSA is a wonderful Academy that develops our children into competitive athletes. I have 4 children who have attend the school for a year and they have grown in their perspective sports by leaps and bounds. They are stronger, more agile, and faster at the end of this year than they were at the beginning of the year. My eldest son has made an elite travel ball team and made the top 10 player list in Perfect Game Tournament out of over a 100 players. My youngest son in his TOC baseball game, hit the fence twice, had no fielding errors and received the game ball from his coach. The Academics are from a homeschooling platform. If your student is disciplined and does well keeping up with their studies they will do well. I have two students that need me to be involved and keep them on track. There is the online platform, workbooks, printables and hands on projects that they will do throughout the year. I received more tools to help my elementary kids with Math, English, and Phonics. My junior high students received science projects throughout the year to assist with their studies. I like the freedom we had throughout the year with sports traveling and vacations. We could just take their studies with us. We didn't fall behind or have to worry about attendance. We are very pleased with the results in our children with DMSA. read more

My son has been going to DMSA from the launch of this new charter school. He loves baseball and we thought why not give it a try, worst case scenario it's not a good fit and we go back to our public school by the house. So far he loves it, he can work from home if he/we need to, has plenty of time to catch up or get his work done ahead of time. First quarter using the laptop was a learning curve, since then... straight As. The success managers are awesome. For the training portion... I wish I had a school like this growing up. Drew, Carl, Gerric, Tobari, brainstorm fitness and now one family are too good to be true. His knowledge, footwork, athleticism, and reading/understanding of the game has grown tremendously, I love when he comes home and teaches me something about swings, fielding, or catching. Kid refuses to skip a training session. I'm excited to see what a second year or getting work in will do. read more
