I was his last appointment of the day and expected him to be fatigued and unable to use the amount of pressure I was requesting for a deep tissue, especially the entire time. I think he actually was using more pressure towards the end and it was exactly what I needed. I can't say enough good things about him. They told me that the henna I have used to strengthen and relax my curly hair had destroyed my hair and that my grey hair would never be a nice texture. That no product would help. I told her that I was desperate for an immediate solution, even an imperfect one while I waited to hear back from her. She said there were none. I decided to look for the L'Oreal product anyways. It was $14, so I bought it. Lost business over $14. The Loreal product is wonderful. My cuticle is closed, and my hair looks the best it has in years. I greatly appreciate the salesperson who showed me where to find what I came in to buy in the first place. I was happy to pay extra to be pampered with a protein treatment. I will find a different salon to do so. I've dealt with enough hair stylists who do what they want rather than listening to what their customer is asking for. The hard sell is not what I needed. This is not how you should get clients. It's a good store. Clean, and well staffed. Maybe just be careful of the folks who will tell you that your hair is a lost cause - it may only cost $14 to fix your problem, but they are selling a service not fixing your issue. Disappointed to find that hair at Ulta is no different than taking my car to the mechanic. Refusing to listen to the customer, trying to sell services that are unnecessary, and refusing to provide simple solutions if they can't make it expensive.

I met the massage therapist who was also very kind and friendly. They had me lay on my side for the massage. However, they only spent about 10-15 minutes on each side and didn't address my concerns in my lower back or shoulders much. There was very little pressure and just light rubbing. Then the massage therapist got to my feet. I was taken aback because he spent at least 45 minutes to an hour massaging my feet. I'm not exaggerating. at times I would look down and he wasn't even really massaging, just holding my feet. I can't believe I spent as much money as I did to get an hour foot "massage". The staff is friendly but pushes the membership. After that, I was not interested in signing up. Please look elsewhere for a prenatal massage. Edited to add- I've tried calling a few times like they asked in their response and haven't gotten a call back. Even after leaving a message. They don't seem to really care.
