Now I can say without hesitation.. if you're looking for an extremely talented hairstylist, this review is for you I travel to KC often so I finally needed to find a local stylist. Choosing Emily was honestly a shot in the dark after researching a lot of blonde specialists in the area, but I instantly connected with her vibe and her after photos, and even more so once meeting her in person! The salon itself is adorable. The music is 10/10, which immediately makes the whole experience feel fun & relaxed. When I asked for a "sandy/beige, not too bright or yellow blonde" (lol), she completely understood the assignment. The color turned out exactly how I envisioned it. The first time I went to her in September 2019, I was doing a complete color change. I was extremely nervous but I showed her a picture and she gave me exactly what I asked for. She recently did my hair again in July 2020 and I LOVE it. Because I'm the type to only go to get my hair done twice a year, she gave me a balayage that will be low maintenance. Can we talk about the ambiance? They recently moved just down the road on Johnson Drive from their previous location and they've done a fantastic job. I have zero complaint with each one. *Thirdly, I walked in for my haircut one day, had to leave unexpectedly unfinished and Kelle squeezed me in the following day to finish up.
