Which means she can't apply chemical to your hair. She specializes in braids and at no point does she pull your hair, stress your edges or cause you pain. She can braid every texture of hair, and does all ages and genders. A professional in every sense of the word, Que is transparent in servicing of clients. At every point it was clear what I was paying for and she was clear about the feasibility of each request. Hair Galore does offer some hair care items and accessories. She gets booked pretty far in advance so don't call and expect an appointment right away. But do take high expectations and they will probably be exceeded.

I went to Misty as a referral from really good friend. Misty has been doing hair for over twenty years. She knows what she's doing. She truly cares about her clients. That was evident during my short time there in the chair. She's fast, friendly and fun to chat with. I walked in showing her what I wanted and she gave me just that.....from a picture. The salon is beautifully decorated with state -of-the-art equipment. It's conveniently located and easy to find. Also, it's nestled in a quaint southern NC town full of charm. So while you're there try one of the local eateries! You cannot lose out! One other note....I went here as a referral. She was patient in looking at my request, worked with me on HOW we would accomplish the cut, was flexible/easygoing and an overall joy. After having an incredibly stressful past few months, this experience was exactly what I needed to feel rejuvenated. My hair came out perfectly, exactly what I had wanted. She helped navigate me through what I wanted (easy, low maintenance, angled "Lob"; thick, straight, healthy hair for context) and really delivered. Highly recommend! Everyone else at the salon were friendly, helpful and even her boss was incredible, knowledgeable and friendly when Marianna consulted with her on my hair. Just a great experience overall!

Three ladies were standing around and they wanted to reschedule it for an hour and 45 minutes later. Drove from Winston to take my mom to only walk away without a haircut. The bad part is that I am a very generous tipper and if any of them would have made an effort, they would have gotten a pretty good tip.

The shop was very clean and Maria was very nice. I will be going back. Oh, and she told me to think about just getting a good blowout moving forward with no more cream-crack.

I've been here for a pedicure consultation and 3 pedicure appointments. So far, I have not been disappointed. Other than the standard and spa like treatments, there's also services dedicated to those who are diabetic, geriatric, and deal with harsh calluses and dry skin. My consultation with Vay (the owner) was for a couple of calluses and layered skin on a corn in between my little toe and the one next to it. She also gave me my first pedi. The seating was is very comfortable. She was friendly, focused, and thorough tending to my concerns. You can tell this is an art for her and she's serious about her work. I was nervous about it feeling uncomfortable, but totally the opposite. I left with my feet feeling amazing. The callus and corn between my toes was so smoothed out that I was pain free. Haven't experienced that in a very long time. No other salon tried to help with the layered skin, so I stopped going. The polish lasted about 3 weeks and pedi was good for a little over 4 weeks (the smoothness of what's between my toes). The salon itself feels spacious, clean, and I love the layout and color scheme. The music is loud enough to sing along to, but low to where it's not overwhelming. They also offer water and coffee. Despite the prices being a little high, it's been worth every single cent! You can also book appointments with a guest. Set up appointments that include a couple of services as well.

Finishing off with choice of color and polish. The salon was located on the first floor in a quiet building located at the mixed use Revolutionary Mill. Going for waterless pedicure comes with alot of benefits. It is ecofriendly, diabetic and geriatric friendly,calluses and dry skin is more visible to care for, allows nail polish to last longer and reduces the risk of cross contamination. This pedicure took a little over a hour to be done. It was a good experience. Also known as "Russian Pedicures".
