After…read moreSEVERAL bad cuts in the past at other salons and a 5-month grow out, Marianna did an INCREDIBLE job on my hair. She was patient in looking at my request, worked with me on HOW we would accomplish the cut, was flexible/easygoing and an overall joy. After having an incredibly stressful past few months, this experience was exactly what I needed to feel rejuvenated. My hair came out perfectly, exactly what I had wanted. She helped navigate me through what I wanted (easy, low maintenance, angled "Lob"; thick, straight, healthy hair for context) and really delivered. Highly recommend! Everyone else at the salon were friendly, helpful and even her boss was incredible, knowledgeable and friendly when Marianna consulted with her on my hair. Just a great experience overall!

There is a wide array of stylists but only a few who honor the Groupon. I was please with everyone's professionalism and the cleanliness of the salon. I would definitely come back! The only bummer was that no one answered when I called during normal business hours one day and I called multiple times. The stylist that executed the highlights was sweet and the atmosphere was relaxing and clean, hence the 2 stars that I (dare I say generously) have given. However, the quality of the highlights were not only unlike the photo that I showed the stylist, but also poorly created in regards to lack of toning, placement, and thickness. When attempting to contact the original stylist in regards to fixing the skunk-lights, poor communication and extra charges were received in response, along with an appointment date over a week later, which is why I went over the highlights with a dark color on my own after receiving some kind advice from some Sally's Beauty staff, who were also horrified at the state of my hair. I booked a consultation and retie ONLY and washed my hair before I came, so I was expecting to get what I booked. Precious tried to be slick and give me a "complimentary" wash and dry because SHE was double booked. Not my problem. I didn't want or need my hair washed and will never understand why she felt the need to sit me under a dryer to dry my hair out worse other than to buy herself an hour and a half time to do another client's hair when I'm supposed to be getting a retie. She finished the other client's hair at 5PM!!! Next thing you know I'm in the shop until 8PM and she has the nerve to get an attitude with me because I complained about it!!! I made it very clear to her that if she expects her clients to show up on time for appointments, then she needs to hold herself to the same standard. Waiting an hour and a half for the service that I BOOKED is completely UNACCEPTABLE and when I complained again and asked for a price adjustment, she argued me down getting in my face, yelling and cursing and I was shocked and brought to tears. She never apologized and when I kept complaining about having to wait, she finally agreed to adjust the price and told me not to come back, then quickly started making excuses and yelling at me as to why I should have been glad that she even took the time to do my hair in the first place then refused to adjust the price. Things escalated and I got so fed her with her yelling and disrespecting me that I decided to walk out. Then she pushed me several times and tried to prevent me from leaving because I refused to take the food that I threw away in the trash can. She threw the food at me and called me a sissy bitch and said that she was going to whoop my a$$. So I called the police on her and I will be filing charges against her ASAP for assaulting and threatening me. She is the most disrespectful disgusting hair stylist I've ever seen in my life and I trust that karma will take care of her. I'm going to expose her unprofessionalism and disgusting behavior to every sisterlock and microlock group that I'm in and report her to StyleSeat.
