Which means she can't apply chemical to your hair. She specializes in braids and at no point does she pull your hair, stress your edges or cause you pain. She can braid every texture of hair, and does all ages and genders. A professional in every sense of the word, Que is transparent in servicing of clients. At every point it was clear what I was paying for and she was clear about the feasibility of each request. Hair Galore does offer some hair care items and accessories. She gets booked pretty far in advance so don't call and expect an appointment right away. But do take high expectations and they will probably be exceeded.

I went to Misty as a referral from really good friend. Misty has been doing hair for over twenty years. She knows what she's doing. She truly cares about her clients. The salon is beautifully decorated with state -of-the-art equipment. It's conveniently located and easy to find. Also, it's nestled in a quaint southern NC town full of charm. I did--color, boho style, length, size--and even showed both an inspo picture and a past photo of myself with the same style. I also showed my hair length and repeatedly asked for a final price. She kept saying "$180 and up," but never gave an exact amount. I don't understand the point of coming in beforehand if you're not going to provide a set price. My appointment was scheduled for 2 PM but didn't start until 6 PM, and I didn't leave until 1 AM. On top of that, I was told hair would be provided, but had to bring my own last minute. I don't mind paying for quality, but this experience was frustrating. The only good thing was the clean parting. The twists didn't last and some even slipped out--something that's never happened to me before. Just a heads-up: be cautious if you choose to book.

I thought it was suites layout. And that Each person in there works for them selves. But I was wrong. 3) stylist: Katie F was hilarious and good with what she does. I asked for a shave which is $10. Most places charged $25 because somehow they consider that as a whole haircut when I'm just doing a side shave. And since I can get a style and shampoo for additional $25... Great. I'm the queen of not wanting to wash my hair. Songey this is my lifesaver. Katie style my hair beach waves and it holds til Monday! 4) products: 5/5 they carry a varied of products such as Kevin Murphy and Living Proof. I'm a big fan of Kevin Murphy and Katie doesn't push me to buy anything. I did walk away with some styling products since my ends are dry. Overall this is a good experience and getting my hair done is my guilty pleasure. Everything went smoothly from setting an appt, to getting in and my hair look great.. Was ready for a date. I told her that I have never been nervous to have my hair cut and that all I wanted was my neck and my ears cleaned up. What did she do? SHE CUT IT! She filled that up with a "I kept your line".
