Stopped going years ago because the massages just felt like they were angry. Our regular spa was busy today so I figured we would try a couples foot massage here.... a New Year, another chance. Big mistake. Very uncomfortable laying down for a foot massage. I know they are not medical professionals but I expect some sort of reflexology knowledge. It was fast (friction) rubbing with no discernable technique. The gentleman running the place (my masseur) is loud and persisted on talking to the other "masseuse" during our massage. He kept walking away "taking care of business" and ended our massage 10 minutes early. It was not a pleasant, relaxing experience. The worst part is when it was time to pay. I reluctantly left a 14% tip (5.00 each) and they both gave me obvious flack. He expected me to leave $10.00 each. Now I know why they had available appointments last minute. read more

You can't beat $50 for an hour and a half massage... a bit sketchy on the inside, they should really upgrade a little bit. My massage was alright. The one thing I asked was please do not touch my lower back (due to spinal issues) didn't listen so it was painful, I also asked if they could focus more on my leg muscles and not my shoulders/back... didn't listen. Just came in tonight with a friend. The place was clean and private. Towells were nice and fresh. Both of our masseuses were strong and did a good job. Everything was fine and dandy until it came time to tip the masseuse my friend had. He gave her a 5 dollar tip for an hour massage. Yes it was a little on the low side. But the look the lady gave him was so rude. She wouldn't accept the tip and just stared at him with a very mean and offended face. It was very offensive. 3 stars. Go to spot for effective deep tissue massage. I really enjoy this place. For a 90 minute massage the cost is only $50. I have also purchased gift certificates here for 1 hour. The prices are good and facilities are warm and clean. My massage therapist was Lily. I recommend her but all therapists I have had there are great. read more

I made an appointment to come here tonight with my fiancé for Valentine's Day. We we had a 7pm appointment for a private room together for 1 hour foot reflexology. When we arrived, they told me they didn't have me down for the appointment and that I never called. Then the lady looked through the phone records and pulled up my phone number for proof that I called. She had us wait maybe 10 minutes and wanted to put us in separate rooms which defeats the purpose of going together for Valentine's Day. I requested the couples room which they began talking back and forth in there language and became very rude to follow. We had to wait a little while longer then we finally got the room. Overall my fiancé liked her massage. She said it felt good. Mine on the other hand felt rushed, she did not seem into it whatsoever and it was more of a massage then reflexology. It felt terrible. Not relaxing at all. When I go to get pedicures at my place they give me a 10x better foot massage with it. About halfway through I had to stop the woman because I couldn't take it any more. I asked her nicely to stop and that I would just wait for my fiancé to finish. She began to raise her voice in her language and kept walking in and out of the room speaking to the other woman. She asked me like 3x if she could just give me a back massage for the remainder which I did appreciate her asking so I allowed her too. That also, was rushed. She started slamming into my back and I told her she was hurting me and she just continued. It was finally over and I was so sore and could barely move off the table. I just wanted to leave at that point. I never felt so uncomfortable in that kind of an environment. I went to pay for my fiancé and I and I gave $15 to the lady who massaged my fiancé and then went to walk out. The other woman stopped us and said "you no tip?! You no tip me?!" I looked back in awe and just said you're very rude and unprofessional and walked away. That was such an unpleasant experience. I will never go back or recommend anyone to go there either. **** to respond to the owner. #1 They told me I didn't have an appointment. I was in the area and I went there early I didn't mind waiting. My issue was that they told me I didn't have an appointment meanwhile I called TWICE that day to confirm 7pm for the couples room. Maybe you should go review your phone conversations. #2 when I say reflexology I mean: "Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medicine involving application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. " - not motioning up and down repeatedly on the same part of my foot with a massive amount of lotion. #3 YES, your language because your employee was YELLING about the situation maybe you should check the footage on that one as well. #4 YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THE PART WHERE YOUR EMPLOYEE ASKED ME FOR A TIP AT THE END. Is that how you conduct business ?! #5 your place is run down, your staff is rude and unprofessional and I'll make sure everyone I know who is interested in reflexology does not come to your store. I was in so much pain after a day of power washing my house for hours, I was desperate for a massage. I Yelped a local massage place and came across Deja Vu. I opted for a one hour full body massage. Inside, I had my own private room and took my clothes off to lay on the bed with a towel covering me. The woman who treated me was amazing. I asked her to focus on my shoulders and traps. and boy did she! There was even a hot stone treatment, massage oil and a warm towel. She kneeled on the bed to give me a nice deep shoulder and back massage. I felt so relaxed. I highly recommend this place. They were so accommodating and friendly! read more

I have stopped going there. I was very rudly asked to tip more after I paid 20% tip for a 1 hr massage. Both the masseuse and the manager were looking at me as if I have commited a crime. The masseuse kept raising her voice saying I need to tip more. I was a customer for at least 5 years, not any more. There are other places with more courteous staff. I rather pay more and treated right. read more

I went yesterday for my birthday after searching high and low for a reasonably priced massage for myself and 3 friends. This place was absolutely amazing. Sure, it's no frills, but the rooms were private and clean and for $35 for a one hour massage, you can't ask for more. The massage was exactly what I needed. I was even surprised to see it included hot stones and concluded with a scalp massage that I definitely wasn't expecting, but who doesn't love that?? Will definitely go back again. read more

I've been to this place several times now, and really like it. I've been to a few other foot/reflexology places and this one so far is the best. I've seen only women working there, as opposed to another place in Holbrook that wanted to give me a male, which I'm not comfortable with. DeJaVu plays very serene & relaxing spa music which I like, as opposed to just light music. They are very quiet allowing their customers to completely relax. The price is great and they have a frequent shopper card. I've read the other review about it being chilly inside, but I haven't yet gone now that the weather has turned cold. read more
