My first massage ever! I was extremely apprehensive about these spas and getting massages in general. Like many others, I've heard horror stories about these places. But because of all the positive reviews here, I decided just to try it out. I'm so glad I did! This place is perfect for women. I felt very comfortable here. The workers were extremely professional and gave me the privacy I needed. I recommend making an appointment, especially on the weekend. The Spa was extremely well taken care of. There is a small waiting area in front of the shop. The towels and sheets were clean. There are lots of massage beds. 2 beds in each area which is spectated by curtains. Clothing hooks above each bed. Lots of privacy. Dim lighting, relaxing music playing...I left feeling so good afterwards There are many deals for the massages which were worth the $$. I chose the 1 hour back and 30 minute foot massage. I was never hassled for a tip and was able to give what I wanted. For beginners: They have massage beds. I wasn't sure if I would have to take my shirt off. I did take my shirt off during the massage but again, my privacy was of the utmost importance to the workers. read more

Walked in and had an awesome massage today. I've been in other asian foot spas and this was by far the best I've been to. For asian spa newbies please keep in mind this is very different than a typical spa with licensed massage therapists (rooms are semi-private, people may be walking past during your massage, massagers don't ask for your preferences unless you tell them yourself) But for the price it really is a phenomenal value. 1-hour foot massage is $28. This includes three parts: 1) seated back/shoulders/neck/arm/hand massage (this was done with a towel over my clothes as I chose not to take off my clothes). 2) calf/foot massage using lotion while lying on your back and covered with a towel like a warm happy baby (I caught myself falling asleep twice during this) and 3) backside massage lying on your stomach - this can be intense but I like deep pressure My massager was Michael he was excellent - especially on my shoulders/neck. I didn't feel like he was going through the motions like other places. I also really appreciate them not pressuring me into taking off my clothes (bc it makes massaging easier for them) which has been a problem at other asian foot spas. I didnt realize how tight I was, the massage was so intense that I could actually hear my muscles going back into place. This is my go to place for an inexpensive massage at the last minute. You can almost always get an appointment the day of. It isn't your traditional massage. You start by sitting and having your neck and shoulders massaged while your feet soak. Then you lye on your back while they massage your feet. Then you lye on your stomach while your back is rubbed. Your clothing stays on and there are other people in the room. You're in a row so it doesn't feel uncomfortable. The room is very very lowly lit and soft music is playing. I've been to a foot spa before, and maybe it's just how they are, but this massage was extremely hard and rough, even after I told him twice to go lighter. I honestly couldn't wait for it to be over with! Now that's not very relaxing. Plus, they seem to only have couples "rooms"? They initially put me in with someone else in the same "room"-really? I really wanted a foot massage and found this place. Close 2 home, ample parking, takes credit cards. I asked 4 a 60 minute foot massage. I was given the most inexperienced person there. She spent 2 much time on my toes and actually hurt me with the calf massage. No time was spent on the bottoms of my feet. She then got confused and spent the last 20 minutes on my back. In short: best $28 ever spent and clean! I have had a lot of back problems in the past and had memberships at both massage envy and hand and stone. Each membership would total at $60 a month and usually result in a standard 40 min massage and tip. So, you could consider me a massage snob. However, as I got older I had to cancel my memberships and pay bills. I figured I would give one of these massage places a try after waking up with a stiff neck. From my experience, there was no appointment necessary and only one massage option. The staff was very friendly and took me into the back room. In the back, there were semi private rooms (the walls separating were about 3 ft, and no door) and dim night lights. The massage therapist handed me clean towels while he prepared my foot bath ( green tea in basin with disposable liners). He then laid out the clean towels on the "bed" and placed my feet in the bath. I don't care what anyone says, this was the best neck and upper back massage I have ever received. Although you don't get fully undressed, they can give a great massage. Also, I was very happy that at the end, the massage therapist used a hot towel to remove any excess oils and lotion. After a long neck massage, I was asked to lay on the "bed" and my foot massage began. After the foot massage, MORE neck and back massage! For $28 this is amazing. I just went to the healthy foot spa in the 7'11 shopping center in Bayport. I am someone who has taken Covid very seriously for many reasons but especially because I watch my 18 month old unvaccinated granddaughter. Getting a massage in an enclosed room with no windows and people in close proximity for an hour has been out of the question. I just very recently have started going out because FINALLY the numbers are low and i feel safe. Going today was not without hesitation. I had been given gift certificates for my birthday just prior to Covid's start in February 2020. My gift certificates are expired but I honestly believed the store owner would honor them because I have been a loyal customer and generous tipper. When I explained what I believed to be a very reasonable excuse for not coming earlier he said he would not honor them... He said he was open so i could have come. After much discussion he then told me he would give me $10... My son had paid for them in full so he already received his money. He was so rude and uncaring I will not go back and he can keep the $10. read more

Quite disappointed , the massage was good, but I wanted a male masseur. Male massage therapists give strong deep massages, that I like. I have gotten massages from female, and male therapists, but females just don't have the upper body strength that males do. Sorry, I am not sexist, I am just stating a fact. I was told through word of mouth that this place had male therapists, from a female friend who also prefers male masseurs. She thinks males have stronger hands too. From reading the reviews on here, people are talking about male masseurs they had too. I called, and made a reservation with "Jason". When I got there, Jason took me to the back to a female masseuse. I said to Jason " I thought you were going to be my massage therapist?" He said that he only answers the phone. It was kind of misleading. I could have spoke up, but I was aching, and in desperate need of a massage. I probably should have specified what I wanted over the phone. But, the person answering the phone should also ask for the customer's preferences. I won't be coming back here for a massage ever again. read more

Oh my wow!!! This place is awesome. You don't get completely undressed , but you don't need to. First thing you need to know is you are not in a private room... But let that go!!! Seriously!!! They seat you with a large pillow on your lap to rest on, then soak your feet in infused H2O , take off your top, unhook your bra and the pleasure begins. First your back and neck.... then bra and top back on .....and oh oh oh .... My feet, like I've never had my feet done before. Next you lie down on the massage table, fully clothed, face up and then face down. Prepare to release it all!!! This is my 4th or 5th time here. Every time has been tremendously wonderful, but I have never gotten the name of the therapist before. Today I had Michael. I will ask for him again... His pressure was perfect for me. I suggest you wear loose fitting clothes, not only for comfort, but also to roll your pant legs up for the foot soak .... Skinny jeans will inhibit your experience. Your own essence music and some earbuds may also be nice to drown out the occasional business phone line ringing or people talking. Great place . Loved the massage , mostly focused on feet but does a great job on the rest of the body too. $28 for an hour . Place looks alittle sketchy but once you get over that it's fantastic for the price. Didn't make a reservation but you could have , I think we got lucky going early on a Saturday. We finally found the time to do a Mother/daughter spa day.....unfortunately, the gift card had expired. They refused to honor the gift card. I felt terrible for my daughter!
