After the scrub was a shower. The shower inside the room was nice and refreshing. Jenn completed my Swedish massage. Before beginning she asked me if any parts of body was off limits and how much pressure I wanted/preferred. She really cared about my comfort level. Jamie completed my facial. She asked questions about my skin prior and my skin routine at home. She really cared for and about my skin. After my three treatments I had a small tapas plate of some fresh veggies, orange slices, hummus and crackers. I also had some champagne. The spa itself was very clean. I always show up on time to my appointments. I thought my appointment was for 11:15. I arrived and nobody mentioned to me that I was late or anything and they just cut my massage short. When I went to checkout I said she just did the express massage it's okay but if you can change it so I just pay for that and they told me I was late and had to pay for the full service. I was honestly shocked because I truly had no idea I was late. They claimed they called and left me a voicemail at 11 but they did not, I live 5 mins away I would have ran there if I got that call. Only confirmation I received was 3 days before the service. I used to work in the service industry and I just feel I should have been told I was late and maybe offered to move my appt. Massages aren't cheap. It's not easy to get time away from my baby and I'm super uncomfortable being pregnant. I just don't think it was fair that I was charged full price.

Not a time that I have come here where I do not see somebody (always a female, unlike some other gyms I go to) cleaning the ladies' locker room. Also the staff is quite friendly, and there is always someone walking around checking on members. The place is obviously well managed. Their personal trainers are quite knowledgeable and have helped me achieve my fitness goals. I am down 16 pounds since the beginning of this summer. I highly recommend Unique Fitness.

I could have spent significantly more money there in the future, but instead of using common sense and showing a little understanding, they chose to lose a customer over a 15-minute delay.
