My husband desired to take away small stones and other larger paver rocks from our main walkway that the contractor who sold the house left there. It wasn't safe, especially for me with 6 inch heels ;-) - I had to play leap frog to get to the larger stones. Even wedged shoes... you couldn't wear. Ended up rolling my ankle a few times. Thus, my husband called around- and all these "walkway" places desired 5400-8200 to fix something small as they wanted to go all out. We explained our situation to these walkway companies that we're selling the current home in 7 months ...and we don't want something huge like that. Josh was very understanding with my husband. He understood what my husband desired done. He additionally gave him some pointers on the retaining wall, which is another issue we have to tackle. He got back to my husband very quickly, and got it done within a day of quoting us. Superb customer service! Excellent communication skills. Work looks great and they work diligently. Update after 2 years -- Unfortunately I was not home when the walkway was put in so here is what I'm finding after 2 years. The pavement is extremely 'soft' in hot weather. Approximately 8 months after the walkway was installed my wife (all 108-lbs of her) had her high heel shoe sink into the pavement while waiting for me to open the house door, leaving a 'hole'... a few months latter I had new gutters put on the house, same problem, the guys ladder sunk into the pavement, also leaving damage... This past summer I've begun to have grass grow up through the walkway causing 'mounds' and cracks to form... it would appear they didn't dig out the grass, or dig deep enough to remove the grass. At this point I'm going to have to dig out the damaged area and repair it myself or I'll have to hire someone to do it for me. I did like the guy I spoke to, I'm just very disappointed this happened in less than two years. read more

I have never written a bad review but here we go. LOOK ELSEWHERE. The sales agent came and gave me a quote to repair steps, replace walk and driveway. I asked for advanced notice before anyone came so I could take the dog elsewhere. instead they just showed up when they were in the area. Once walk was completed I was informed they could not do the steps as the sales agent had forgot to measure and they could not do the job as planned. After offering an inadequate solution and many conversations they basically said there was nothing else they could do and gave me the number of another stone mason. Other guy came today and said job could have been done if they had done the stairs first then the walk. I have requested for them to honor their contract and am awaiting a response. I have also requested they remove the tools they left in the flower beds a month ago. Bottom line consider other firms. read more

I had set a date to get my driveway resealed and didn't like to get it done in early spring when the trees in the area would make the driveway green from all the pollen so I set it in early summer well we had to set it back many weeks due to rain everyday and sometimes the only days no rain was on a Sunday lol. They had the patience to wait as do I and my neighbor who we both share the driveway but we got it done had to refresh the crew of what we wanted done and they did what was said on the contract the only little problem there were some small spots that were missed but overall the driveway looks great they used quality sealing products it's been about a month and still has the new driveway smell thanks guys read more

We needed an entire driveway replacement after 20 years. The job included replacing a drain into which most storm water was to have drained, but never fully did. We received 3 bids. Dejesus was not only the low bidder, but was also the most professional and helpful in designing a complete solution. The work itself was done by an experienced crew who worked like a well-choreographed team. Any questions I raised were answered promptly and thoroughly. I contacted Dejesus to do my driveway and after we agreed to do the job, they showed up 3+ months later to do the job and it was not finished right. Left side of my driveway is all unfinished and looks unprofessional (See picture). One of the guys in charge called me and I let him know and he just said "Is just a Driveway" like he doesn't really care about it plus he was really rude. In top of that, we had some damage to the property too. The first person that I spoke to was good but I will not recommended Dejesus Driveway to anybody. read more

I had called DeJesus Paving to get a quote for my driveway. For starters, they cancelled the first appt, and right there I should have known. When the "salesman" finally showed up, he was less than professional. (Warning #2). He proceeded to tell us that doing the driveway was no problem, and explained how the process would be done with an "paving box". When we decided to go with DeJesus, we did haggle a little bit on price, and they dropped it $300. They cancelled the appointment to do the work 2 times, and finally showed up on a Friday in the rain. I had asked the owner Josh if he could call me when they were on there way so I could point out a few things just in case the saleman didn't tell them. We were promised in the contract to have 3" to 8" of new base, (which we did not get) and the industry standard 3" of asphalt, (which we did not get). By the time he called me, half the driveway was "hand poured", no paving box, wheel barrows, rakes, and plywood shoes. I did not get to see if they even dug out, or even scraped the old gravel underneath. Not a good way to do business. Not to mention, they ran out of asphalt 3/4 of the way through the job, and had to go get more, which took 40 mins, ( basically, I got the scrap from another job) allowing the asphalt already put down, to cool. Not good. When he finally came back and began pouring again, the seam they had made ACROSS the driveway, yes, ACROSS, looked horrible. End result, puddles everywhere, roll marks everywhere, stones already coming out, and it is only two weeks old!! I asked how long before I could put a car in the driveway, I was told, 4 days, but 5 would be better, so I waited 6, just to be safe. Well, it didn't matter with such shoddy work. After 6 days, I had tire marks, and sink marks in the asphalt, and I was told that was "Normal". I have bootprints in the asphalt, and a small piece of steel was left in the asphalt as well. This is absolutely the WORST driveway I have ever seen. I will NEVER recommend DeJesus Paving to anyone. Now I have to pay a real Professional Paving company to come rip out the mess they made, and have my driveway re-paved. Don't EVER hire this company. A word that comes to mind......gypsies. read more

These guys are real pros. After receiving a quote in early April DeJesus paved our stone driveway in mid-June. Their quote was competitive and they provided the best coverage in terms of guaranteeing their work post-pave. In addition, I sourced quotes from half a dozen companies and they seemed the most professional by far. The day of the pave they were on time, quick, and coordinated. The entire process took about 6 hours and their teamwork was apparent. DeJesus even accommodated a last minute request by me for additional pavers.
