The service here is always super attentive. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and quick. You might have to wait a few minutes to check out behind other parties but I imagine you kind of expect that at a sit down restaurant anywhere. The vibe inside is right at home in the St. John Valley of Maine, no fuss, home cooked meals. The restaurant is in a converted house, you'll see pictures online of rows of Side by side's and trucks parked out front, this is about as Maine, and as Acadia as it gets for restaurants up here.

Anyway, this family restaurant is excellent. The owner's wife, who is bilingual, gave us her undivided attention. When my husband expressed that he likes poutine, she asked her husband to make it with his special recipe and it was, according to my husband, the best that he had ever eaten. It was a Sunday, and the restaurant was filled with locals, a sure sign of its quality. I would highly recommend it.
