The service here is always super attentive. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and quick. You might have to wait a few minutes to check out behind other parties but I imagine you kind of expect that at a sit down restaurant anywhere. The vibe inside is right at home in the St. John Valley of Maine, no fuss, home cooked meals. The restaurant is in a converted house, you'll see pictures online of rows of Side by side's and trucks parked out front, this is about as Maine, and as Acadia as it gets for restaurants up here.

The wait staff was run off their feet!! The food was also a 4*: delicious! So beautifully presented, as well as quite tasty. And they start you off with a skewer of fruit. Neat-oh!! The downer for me was how long it took to get the food! (3*). Maybe I was just hungry, or too much in a hurry. Maybe the time is worked into the service because we should take our time to enjoy the food and we should enjoy our company (even if we are alone)? Anyway, this family restaurant is excellent. The owner's wife, who is bilingual, gave us her undivided attention.
