I came in for a lash lift which didn't take very well, and my stylist said it was because she didn't know my lashes were so coarse... although my hair is extremely thin all over my body. (I've also had lash lifts before at a different place that have worked perfectly.) But i experienced a lot of burning this time and went home with glue all over my eyes. She recommended I'd come in for a complimentary redo with her in 2 days. I called the salon again and asked if it's healthy for my lashes to redo so soon, they said absolutely not. I asked if I could just get a refund on the service and had to talk to the owner to ask her, which was interesting, but she said they do not offer refunds. So we decided to rebook the complimentary session with a different stylist a week later. That lift went ok, although I had glue all over my eyes again, and many of my lashes were extremely over-processed and very hard to manage for weeks after, and many of my lashes fell out everyday since. I wouldn't recommend this salon as it seems like most employees are not very experienced. I wish I just went to a different place. read more

Pricey but a nice deal for new clients. $20 off full set. I had Paige who did a nice job. Was very meticulous and detailed. I did the TrueXpress. Took longer than 60 min but rather have them be done well. The bed / chair is comfy to relax a few hours if needed. Clean facility and trendy. They sell lash products on site if you're interested. Cleaner. Brushes. Etc. I would def go back. read more

Been going here every 2 weeks since August, service used to be amazing but then they screwed over the customers and the lash artists and changed it to a 30 minute fill instead of a 45 minute fill and if you want that extra $15 minutes you have to pay extra on top of their membership. Speaking of their membership, instead of taking the average 2 week fill - 52 weeks in a year so 26 fills in a year - multiplying that by the $60 fill price and then dividing it by 12 months to come up with a set monthly price, they instead have it set up so you pay your monthly membership pay AND then you also pay $15 every 2 weeks because you're "out of credits" because they don't factor in a fill every 2 weeks for a year to get a set correct monthly price. Their way just makes it confusing and annoying that on top of a membership and tip you still have to do a $15 charge every two weeks. On top of all this corporate lash studio BS my Lash artist Jessy is no longer with the company. I showed up to my scheduled appointment and was told someone else would be doing my lashes and that she no longer worked there. A head up would have been nice but also she was freakin amazing and that was the last straw with this place. I canceled my membership that night, got my last set to use the rest of my credits up with Madison (who is also amazing) and am officially done with this place and their crap changes that again screwed over not just the clients but also Lash artists who now have to work in unrealistic time frames to give clients fills which results in unhappy customers who are getting less but paying more. read more

I didn't think a place could drop their rating in just one more visit, but here we are. I was absolutely appalled when I came here for my refill. It's like I visited a different store. First of all, I came in and nobody was at the counter. The girl in the back did tell me to have a seat. Someone came in about 10 minutes later, didn't greet me, went to the back, then finally came back and asked if I was helped yet. She took my temperature and said I would be helped soon. I wasn't helped until 20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start! Now comes the part where I really started to get ticked off. I laid down for my appointment and Jade and the blonde woman started chit chatting. I'm laying there waiting to get started and they are talking about some vacation, getting engaged and then Jade started complaining about an employee who quit. She said the girl just left her keys on the counter, didn't lock the door or set the alarm and just quit. This is not something you should be talking about in front of customers! Also, by now my eyelashes still weren't touched and I'm still just laying there and waiting. Then she starts complaining about this other girls work that her lashes were clumpy and that they should offer free refills to her customers. So basically what I heard was that they will hire anyone and don't care about quality. Finally she starts to work on my refill. I would have just left, but they would have just charged me anyway, so what's the point, right? So she didn't ask how I liked the lashes, if I wanted a change or anything. I actually did want a change, but was never offered! She literally didn't say a word the entire refill. Then because she was running so behind she just did a quick refill and honestly when I looked in the mirror it looked the same as when I entered. I couldn't tell a difference. Took a chance on making an appointment here to get my lashes done last week. My Hybrid Full Set appointment was with Briana. She was very nice and gentle. When I arrived, she was running about 15 minutes late with a different client, but I was patient. She was very understanding about the style I wanted and did my lashes in a fair amount of time. I wish I had something positive to say about my experience. I'll start by saying that I made an appointment for a free 2 hour lash extension service with a new stylist. With that said I went in with an open mind and wasn't expecting the greatest lashes ever. I have had my lashes done at a couple of other places and have never experienced anything like this. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment but started late because the stylist showed up to the salon 2 minutes before our appointment start time. As the artist began applying lashes I could see my eye becoming irritated so I asked her to stop and check what was going on. This is not something I have experienced when I have gone elsewhere. The stylist went to grab another artist who immediately talked about the incorrect placement of the tape and stickers under my eyes. She stated that she put the stickers in my water line which left me open to an eye infection. She then went on to say how the artist was incorrectly placing the lashes and was putting them on my skin rather that my lash line. She mentioned to the artist she wouldn't be able to certify her if she was placing the lashes on so incorrectly. After hearing this I asked for them to just remove the lashes because I did not want any further irritation. No one at the salon tried to make this right and no one asked me to come back in for another appointment. Beware if you are scheduling with a trainee. These in training artists should be monitored in the early stages until they understand the correct process of applying lashes and under-eye stickers. This place has a wonderful relaxing vibe. Jade is the best lash artist I've found in Michigan! They have a membership deal for $109 a month. It comes with two fills. Your credits roll over if you don't use them. I love how natural my lashes look! read more

Truly the worst experience ever. I have been an avid lash extension advocate for years. I decided to try Deka Lash after my lash artist moved out of state. My appointment was on July 3 at 2:15. I wasn't taken back until 2:45 after my lash artist told me she was running 5-10 min behind. This alone would have been fine if the quality was up to par. This is my eye on July 8; 5 days after application. I properly care for my lashes and have never had an issue like this before. I just had a lash lift and tint by Alayna ..... AMAZING!!!! She was the sweetest young lady and explained every step as I have never had this procedure in the past. I am an avid scuba diver so did not want traditional extensions for fear of one getting in my eye underwater. The lift and tint is PERFECT!!!! It looks like I'm wearing mascara with perfectly curled lashes! She has a new client for life now! read more
