I make it a point to call ahead to check if Rani is available, she's always been friendly and highly professional. Unfortunately, I've had unpleasant experiences with some of the other staff in the past. A few were quite rough during the service and didn't handle my eyebrows with care. One staff member, in particular, was often visibly irritated and came across as rude, which made me uncomfortable. Because of that, I actually stopped going for over a year. I happened to return last month when my regular stylist was out of town, and I was happy to see Rani. She made the experience smooth and pleasant again. I truly wish the overall customer service here was more consistent, it would make a big difference.

Extremely Disappointing Waxing Experience - Facial Skin Damage & Unprofessional Response…read moreMy name is Susmitha, and I recently had my first waxing experience in Michigan at this salon. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst and most upsetting salon experiences I have ever had. First visit: I went to the salon during their business hours, but there was a sign saying they had gone for lunch and would return around 3:00-3:30 PM. I waited until approximately 4:00 PM, but no one returned, so I eventually left. Second visit: I called ahead before going back. I received face waxing and underarm waxing services. After I returned home and washed my face, I noticed approximately six visible marks/scar-like areas on my face following the waxing. I immediately tried calling the salon to discuss what had happened, but my calls were not answered. I have my call history showing that I attempted to contact them. The salon was then closed Sunday and Monday, so I contacted them again when they reopened. What upset me even more was how my concern was handled. When I finally spoke with the person at the salon, instead of listening to my concern and trying to understand what happened, I felt that she was extremely rude, sarcastic, and dismissive. She blamed the condition entirely on my acne and told me that she was not responsible and could not do anything about it. I fully acknowledge that I have acne on my cheeks. However, the marks I am concerned about appeared around my mouth, nose, and sides of my cheeks, including areas where acne was not the issue. That is exactly why I contacted the salon--to explain what I observed after the waxing and ask them to take my concern seriously. Instead of professionally discussing it with me, she also made an unnecessary comment about my age and appearance, saying that I did not look my age. I found that completely inappropriate and irrelevant to the problem I was calling about. Most importantly, she ended the call while I was still speaking. There was no effort to properly hear my concern, ask to see the affected areas, offer to inspect my skin, or discuss what could have happened. I am attaching photos showing the condition of my skin after the waxing and how it looked over the following days so people can see why I was concerned. I understand that skin can react differently to waxing and that complications can sometimes happen. What I cannot accept is having a genuine concern dismissed without proper evaluation and then being spoken to disrespectfully when I tried to address it. Based on both the service I received and, especially, the way my complaint was handled afterward, I would not recommend this salon. My rating: 0/5 Check my review on Google. Last time i came the woman doing my eyebrows suggested i do a lash lift and tint. I made an appt for a later date to do so. It is absolutely horrendous. They are now fried and over processed. I have naturally long eye lashes. They look about half the length and are bent at like a 90° angle at my lash line then curl into my eye lid and my right side are bent sideways. Some of my lower lashes also got solution on them and look ridiculous and curled up. During the process i explained the perming solution was getting on my eye lid and she was pretty much gas lighting me telling me that wasn't possible because nothing was there. My eye lid is now scabbed because there was in fact solution there burning my skin. When it was over i immediately asked why my eyelashes looked this way in which i was told it was because they were wet and when they dried it would look better. They did not and i called up there to complain and ask for my money back. I was told because my eye lashes are so thick and heavy that's why that happened and to wait a week and she would try to fix them. I explained no one would be putting any more chemicals on my eye lashes there again and demanded a refund. She called back to tell me my full refund has been processed. Now here i am 3 and a half weeks later and they are no better. I also had to spend money on a solution to try to rehydrate my lashes from another lash tech and my eyelashes are falling out daily. I'm so embarrassed of how i look now. DO NOT DO A LASH LIFT HERE!!!!
