I was given a $500 virtual gift card to Deka Lash. The reviews were great, so I scheduled a refill appointment. My lashes looked great! They were nice and full! Too, the lash tech was very friendly. However, when I checkout out, she didn't know how to apply the gift card. She reached out to others, without a solution. I was told that she will figure it out. Once applied, I would receive and email with my balance and next appointment date. I received a email with the appointment date, but nothing regarding the gift card. Two weeks later, I showed up to my appointment. The owner greeted me and stated that the gift card that I was given was not for Deka Lash. I pulled out my phone, accessed my email to view the gift card. I showed it to the owner who saw that it was for Deka Lash. Apparently, the facility had never accepted a virtual gift card (advertised and purchased from the corporate website) until I walked in with one. The situation was finally resolved, but I wouldn't go back. The quality of work went down when they thought that the gift card was fake. Too, it was a very embarrassing and timely ordeal. I found a wonderful tech whose quality of work I'm completely satisfied with. read more

The lash artist did a great job on finding out exactly what type of lash I wanted by assisting me with picking out the length, design, and thickness of lash. The lashes looked really beautiful so I even purchased a membership. I was happy with the service until the next day when I woke up with a migraine and extreme eye soreness. I've never had this issue before after getting my lashes done nor was this an allergy. I was basically in bed for 2 days. When I called to discuss the issue, I was told the eye bag placement was probably off while I was getting the extensions put in, thus causing the fumes to severely irritate my eyes. This was extremely unfortunate because I had just taken a flight to LA and now had this absolutely horrifying incident occur while I was supposed to be at an important event. I had to miss the event and was stuck in the hotel all day. The owner was nice enough to contact me and offered a complimentary lash service (with another lash artist). He said I'd have a credit on my account if I wanted to get my lashes done later. Fast forward a few months--I finally had the courage to call them up and book an appointment. The very same lash artist who did my extensions that first time picked up ...and of course told me there was no credit on my account. Soo I'm not sure I'd get my lashes here again. On another note, Deka Lash is a clean salon that is conveniently located in a complex, about a 2 minute drive from the Kierland Commons area so parking and location are two pros to this place. read more

I went to Deka Lash at Scottsdale Promenade today and worked with Ana. I had a GREAT experience! The salon is very clean w comfy beds and fun music. We talked about the type of lash extensions I wanted and since I've been getting them done for so long, Ana agreed to just follow the pattern I've had previously (a natural lash). She was fast and thorough, and I was comfortable the whole time! The lashes look good and the price was consistent w what I've been paying...definitely going to sign up for the elite membership which is $105/mo and includes two fills. They also had a package for $169/mo that includes unlimited fills, which I may consider in the future. Pics attached but please note I'm not wearing any makeup!! Definitely recommend!! read more

Let me start off by saying I've had lashes before. I tried Deka after hearing about it from a friend and I am floored! First of all, their studio is super clean, super cute, and most importantly...the beds are super comfy. They even have little blankets if you get cold! When I got there, I checked in for my appointment and filled out a quick new-client form on their ipad, it didn't take long, so my technician was actually able to take me early! To be honest, I'm always a little weary when I go to a new place-- even if it is as pretty as Deka. But I knew I was in good hands as soon as I walked in the bathroom and saw the eye cleanser and super clean bathroom (working in a salon myself, I've learned to always judge a salon by the cleanliness of their bathroom-- usually indicates the sanitation of the rest of the place and Deka's was spotless!). I usually nap during my lash appointments, but I couldn't help but yap my technician, Manassah's ear off. She was super sweet and gave me the perfect lashes to suit my hooded eyes. This was the first lash appointment where I opened my eyes and the lids weren't stuck together and glue didn't burn them. I'll definitely be signing up for their membership, but I'm skipping "basic" and going straight to "elite". I highly recommend visiting Deka, and if you're unsure, just pop in and check the place out! You'll be convinced. read more

This is my first time getting eyelash extensions and I am in love. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They were ready for me as soon as I walked in the door. We spent about 15 minutes going over the options and filling out some questions about what I wanted. I had a reference picture which she took into consideration while we talked. In the end, I said that I trusted her expertise since I didn't know enough to really have an opinion. I laid back in the chair, which was surprisingly comfortable and it wasn't long before I fell asleep! She worked quickly and so gently that I was able to nap with no problem. I barely felt her touching my eyes. I was super impressed with how gentle her touch was. I woke up and got to peek at my eyes in the mirror and I was shocked! They looked amazing! Perfect shape and length without being over done. I don't like it when it looks like there are caterpillars on people's eyelids...unless you are a drag queen (if you are, girl, pile those lashes on there!!!) The only suggestion (it's not really a complaint) is that during our discussion of what I wanted, I felt like some of the descriptions were hard to understand because I had no context for words like "natural" versus "dramatic" or "modified cat eye" versus the other types of shapes (which I don't remember now). As a first timer, it was a little overwhelming and made me a bit nervous because I wasn't sure I conveyed what I wanted properly. Either I did or my lash artist was good enough to convert my inexperienced explanation into reality (I'm guessing the latter is the case). Also, as a new customer, I feel like the explanation of the products that they offer was rushed and done only because she HAS to do it at the end of each session. I felt like she was worried that she was being too "sales-ish" when I was really interested in the education of how to take care of my new lashes. I didn't feel like she was "selling" me on the products but I also didn't feel like she was educating me on the benefits of the products either. I've been in that position before and I know some customers can get irritated with that sort of product explanation but I don't think I was giving off the "stop talking to me vibe" at all. She did present all the products to me with a brief description but I think it could have been more informative. Overall, I thought the experience was great and I would definitely recommend my friends to Deka Lash. They were professional, kind and provided me with beautiful eyelashes that I'm thrilled with! read more

A great place to get your lashes done. More than the lashes themselves, customer service is tops here. When I had issues with the lashes, I called to inform Deka Lash. They asked me to come in right away to find out what went wrong. I was impressed with how meticulous they were in addressesing my eye lash issues. Tried an alternative lashes that would best suit me. I highly recommend Deka Lash Scottsdale. It's customer service is best I've experienced in the beauty industry. read more

I've had my lashes done at 3 different places before coming to Deka Lash and I can honestly say I noticed a difference. My lashes stay on longer, they don't hurt or sting cause sometimes the glue can cause that and they are very CLEAN! My commute is also 35 mins away but I don't mind the drive. I recommend Deka Lash to everyone! read more

I love Deka Lash! So much so that the first time I went there, I signed up for a membership right away. When I had an issue with my lashes (turned out that the lashes were too long for my short lashes to hold), the owner AND the manager contacted me to see if they can remediate the problem. Talk about excellent customer service! The owner, Danny, was very sincere. I was slightly embarrassed at how great they treated me (not used to this special treatment). I found this place here on yelp and I thought I would give it a try, I read the reviews and I thought it was fair to give it a shoot. I went there got my lashes done. Wen I tried to rebook the rep told me she couldn't accommodate me. After calling several times I simply ended canceling since they would give me the run around. I got an email asking me to go back so I thought maybe it was their staff and I went back, I signed up for the membership again and now they did it again. The lashes fall off within 5 days depending on who does them for you ...But their scheduling is horrible and if they can't accommodate you its too bad and you get charged for the membership with no refunds anyway. Don't go to this place is horrible its a waste of money and time. read more

Deka Lash was a great experience! I have had lash extensions done a couple times before and Deka Lash was one of the best! My eyelash technician was Ana and she was so sweet and knowledgable about the care of my lashes, and had great recommendations as far as what type of lash to get and what would best meet my goals. The lash application itself was very relaxing and quick too! My lashes look beautiful and I've received multiple complements already. You pay a lot for this product but I believe for this beauty routine the prices are comparable and possibly cheaper than most. read more

I had a Sunday appointment with Amber, I chose the classic lashes. she was very thorough and gentle, knowledgable and pleasant company for over an hour. She listened to all my preferences as I've been wearing falsies and extensions for years and didn't discredit me like has happened else where in the past. Ive had these done several times at several places, this was my first time at deka and this is the first time I have left an appointment happy! I went in to redeem a Groupon promo and ended up signing up for the membership the same day. The staff here is so sweet. Raeanne is my lash artist and she is so knowledgeable. Her consult was really helpful in deciding which design best caters to my eye shape. She performs MAGIC with my lashes. Highly recommend! read more

I'm glad I decided to stick around and get a fill before canceling my membership. My initial set, I wasn't the happiest with how it came out, too curly, and not that full. I figured I had a lot less of lashes than I assumed, and not knowing what the different curls were, I just told the stylist to surprise me. Well, I was definitely surprised! Figuring that I could get it fixed on my fill, I didn't fret about it and even still signed up for a membership. But then the extensions started falling out, a lot, and they were rarely ever attached to a real lash. My original stylist had said, if more than 7 fall out in the first few days call in and they'll fix me up. Well, I didn't want to be THAT person, so I just let it go, but they kept falling out more and more! I ended up getting a fill the next week, confident that things would get better with the fill. I am so glad I decided to wait it out! I'm so happy with my fill. So much more full! And the second stylist, menessah, is amazing! She added some C curls to the few D curls I had left and I am much more happy with the look. And I'm about to wrap up day 2 of my fill, and only 1 lash has fallen out! Impressive! To give my original stylist credit, the week that the lashes were falling out, it was crazy humid and hot, so maybe that's what caused it? I fear there's more to it, but again, I'm hoping for the better. read more

Love how my eyelashes turned out! Overall a great experience. The only thing that is stopping me from rating them 5 stars is that they didn't seem too inviting. When i walked in, the front desk lady was short with me and didn't seem too happy. When I went back with the girl that did my lashes, she was also very short with me and seemed like she had to stick to a script. throughout the whole appointment she didn't say a word to me. I will definitely be coming back because i love my lashes, but I just didn't like that there was no friendly conversation. read more

This was my first time getting lashes and I am in love! Manassah at Deka Lash did such an amazing job! They have lots of different options and I had no clue what to choose, so she helped me and they are perfect. Exactly what I wanted but even better! This weekend is my bachelorette party so I decided to get them to see how they feel because I want them done for my wedding. I was so nervous they would itch or bother me because my eyes are super sensitive but I don't even feel them. No need to wait for wedding to get them again. I'll be getting fills from now on because they are so great. And it was super relaxing when she was putting them on. I even fell asleep. I highly recommend Manassah at Deka Lash! read more

I have followed amber for months she left the last place so I tried different stylist, I was not happy. I found her again here! She has an amazing talent for doing lashes . I'm a returning lash extension wearer after taking a few years off and this was an awesome place to start back with! The bathroom (my first stop) was so clean! And once I settled in for my consultation I was greeted by the sweetest and educated technician, a super comfortable chair and...A BLANKET! Such a life saver since I'm freezing everywhere I go. I previously gave a wonderful review as Amber was so great removing a bad lash job. The first full set I received here was great and lasted about 10 days. After that, each fill was only lasting 5-7 days. I then upgraded to their unlimited membership as I was having to go so often. I am attaching a picture of my eyelashes 4 days after a fill. I have been having my lashes done for two years and I have never experienced such poor retention in fills. Furthermore, I called their number to cancel an appointment as I was fed up. I was now just emailed that they charged me 50% of an appointment for not cancelling. I will never go back to Deka Lash....ever. read more

I originally got my lash set done in Vietnam and was worried that Deka Lash would not be able to fill them in.. but I was wrong! They did a great job. The process was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep. The staff was very kind and greeted me with a water-bottle. I was so happy with the finished product that I purchased a membership. WOWZA LASHEZ!!!! I am SOOOO thankful for this sweet new business!! They are FANTASTIC & they are doing lashes right!!! 1st - They have promos to help you get started without a heavy hit for the 1st full set!! 2nd- the body contouring chairs are dreamy & sure make it more comfortable than those other places that throw you on a flat massage board!3rd- they use the CORRECT amount of adhesive... you don't even see it as it grows out!! And because they use the correct amount of adhesive I am pretty convinced that is why Deka Lashes don't itch!! That clumpy glue others use makes you want to pick it off!! Not my Deka Lashes! 4th- Last time I had lashes by a private gal who was out on her own. She would always say, "oh darn, I used up all of those OR sure wish I had that style for you..... at Deka Lash they are a full time business with a COMPLETE INVENTORY OF EVERY LASH YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED!! 5th-they are conveniently located at FLW & Scottsdale Rd & there is reserved parking at the door!! 6th-the Local owners and their staff are incredibly kind! I first saw Deka Lash while driving through the Promenade & was excited to see a place dedicated to lashes in this location! I purchased a Groupon for a full volume set and was able to get in the next day. They have online booking available, which is awesome for people like me who don't always remember to book during business hours. I arrived super early. Manasseh was at the front desk and chatted with me during my wait, which was a really nice change from the last place I went. My appointment was with Ana, who is so sweet and funny. My eyelashes are super blonde & without mascara, you can't even see them. Ana really made sure she understood what I wanted before we got started & her application technique was flawless. We talked & laughed most of the session and when she was finished and handed me the mirror... WOW!!! I am soooo happy with my new lashes!! read more

I go to Deka twice a month for free refills on my eyelashes. I can not tell people how much I love my membership with Deka Lash. They are courteous, soft spoken, on time women who will stop at nothing until you receive the best service in the valley. I will never go to another company for my eyelashes read more

I was impressed with Deka Lash! The staff was friendly, the location was very clean and I am extremely impressed with my results. This was the first time I got eyelash extensions and I could not be more pleased. My esthetician was very knowledgable and she spent a decent amount of time making sure I knew all of my options. While receiving my service, I was kept extremely comfortable, my esthetician moved swiftly and I have received numerous compliments on the results! First timer getting eyelash extensions! I went to Deka last for my first set of eyelash extensions about two weeks ago now and my lashes still look AMAZING! I was set up with Amber, who was so nice and did her job so well! I got to my appointment early and she was willing to take me to the back right away! She was very knowledgable about extensions, answered all my silly questions, and helped me pick out the exact sale of lash extensions that I wanted. She even have me advice on what extensions and style would go best with my eye shape, which I really appreciated. Since getting my lashes extensions I have gotten multiple compliments on them and am already excited to go back to get a fill! Only reason why I gave this a 4/5 (wish I could give a 4.5) was because the prices being what they are and waiting area being big enough for about two people. Other than that....LOVE THEM! read more

I stumbled upon Beauty Blink and was able to easily book an appointment online. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by the sweetest gal, Marsa, and she had me start filling in some paperwork. Typical intake questions like recent surgeries and ailments and some questions about my hair and scalp and then we headed back to the room. Once I got situated Marsa started with the high frequency wand and some other tools with my hair dry before turning on the nice, warm water and wetting my hair. From there, she used several products and tools, alternating between scalp massage and gentle combing. She also added a steam cap and let my hair steam for a while and there was some wonderful aromatherapy going as well. We ended the service by wrapping my hair in a towel before letting me brush it out in a separate little room. I had the option to blow dry my hair if I wanted but I chose to leave with wet hair so it could air dry. Overall, this was a very very relaxing way to spend the evening, the process was amazing, and Marsa was so sweet and asked for feedback at the end of the service as well. You can tell this place cares about their customers and the quality of the service they provide and I will absolutely be back!

To start, the offices are beautiful and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The first artist I met with suggested I meet with Chloe because she has more experience with mens eyebrows. Then I got a consultation with Chloe who was very patient, extremely knowledgeable and importantly, very honest about meeting my expectations given my situation. Patient, compassionate and no attempt to make a sale at all. Chloe suggested I have her office do a laser treatment to remove the shadowed remains I had from a microblading procedure many years ago. She wanted a clean slate and she was 100% right. Almost immediately following the short and painless laser procedure, all of the shadowing was completely gone, which in and of itself, looked much better. Onto the procedure. Chloe worked her artistry with great care and my eyebrows came back to life, even though she required a touch up 5 weeks later, after everything had healed. Today, I went in for the Touchup, talked about the area where the pigment had lightened slightly (which is completely out of her control, I have 70 year old skin) and then she carefully started the touchup. It was so relaxing I think I fell asleep, When she finished, she handed me the mirror and I was extremely happy with the results. Actually, I can't imagine a better experience. I, myself, am an artist and director with a very keen eye for detail... and I am completely happy with the experience from beginning to end. Thank you Chloe.
