There is one female (don't know the name) that always sounds so annoyed when she picks up the phone...like the caller is inconveniencing her...and it made me not want to go back, but Dr Hitzeman was good so I did (mistake!) Second visit Dr Thomas Hitzeman was in surgery, so I got Dr Robert Hargarten. I have never had such an awful, uncompassionate, rude vet experience in all my life! I had a cat with me. Dr Robert Hargarten walked in with 2 big dogs...didn't say who he was or who these dogs were...didn't care if I am scared of dogs (I was attacked by a German shepherd so bad that it sent me to the ER after it tore up and scarred my arm for life)...doesn't care that my cat was now more terrified in that exam room...HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I asked for another vet, but he was the only option. He then proceeded TO PULL MY CAT OUT OF THE CRATE BY HER TAIL! Who would do that??? He later grabbed her by the scruff on her neck and jabbed a needle into her. She fell back into the crate, was wobbly, and cowered from me for the first time. I asked what he gave her and he said it was just an antibiotic. I asked why she was acting wobbly and hurt, and he said it stings. I again pressed on that she was now acting really strange and he said the shot wouldn't do that. When I got home, my cat was wobbly, limping, and personality had changed. Well it is 3 days later and I STILL have a limping, hurt cat. I am so sad and angry at myself that I didn't do better homework before coming here. Brought my cat in friendly, sweet, purring, and walking fine, but came back out with a cat that is limping and shows s/s of pain. Please don't make the same mistake I did - go elsewhere!

High humidity…read morespecies kept in glass tanks with paper towel, the feces is never cleaned out, the water bowls are rarely filled, there is dark lines on the paper towel from their ceiling leaking into the tank (a lot of tanks and their floor was flooded) they didn't change it for MONTHS. 98% of the snakes have absolutely no hides or caves, are kept on paper towel, and in some cases nothing at all. Animals with layers upon layers of stuck shed and eye caps. The place is riddled with mites and the owner Logan says "if u put a pest strip and soak the animal in bleach it will be fine." He is also a scam artist and the employees agree. One employee admitted that the business is going under. That's why prices are so high and the animals aren't getting the attention they need. The employees also admitted that the owner is not as knowledgeable as he seems to be. He has given me many absolutely wrong husbandry tips and doesn't really know what he's talking about. But, if you aren't knowledgeable yourself you should be able to trust the staff and the owner that they will give u good information. But, unfortunately that doesn't happen here. I saw so many disgusting dreadful tanks and the employees just sit at the front and talk all day instead of cleaning or feeding a lot of their extremely underweight animals. This place needs to be shut down and those animals need to be rescued. Absolutely Disgusting

They allowed some of our friends to visit the dogs while we were away. Our dogs stayed in the same pen. For two dogs in one pen it is $29 per day. If you do an extended stay they will give you a discount. The facility is clean and the staff is always friendly. They also provide grooming. It runs around $70 per dog. This includes bath, cut, and their nails trimmed. When our dogs get groomed they always look great. You must make sure that your dog(s) have their vaccinations. (Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). You can have your vet call them with the information or bring in copies of your dogs' vaccine papers. Also I would recommend making sure to do flea/tick treatments to your dog(s) before boarding. You can also request for your dog(s) not to be fed the day you pick them up. Sometimes our dogs will get sick in the car if they have eaten anything. They have specific pick up and drop off times. Generally, the hours are from 8 AM-10 AM and 5 pm-6 pm. They are very clear that on your last day of your dog(s) stay that they are picked up at/before 10 am. If you do not pick up your dog (s) by 10 am on the "dismissal day" you will be charged for the entire day. They provide water bowls and food bowls. Bring your own dog's toys, blanket, treats, food. Your dog will be taken out a lot. They will let the dog(s) run around in a fenced in area.
