The…read moreschool is highly unorganized, their text selections and curricula are at least a year or two behind industry standards, and a couple of professors are so antagonistic towards students that it hinders the learning process. But if you look past that and really throw yourself into your studies, it can work itself out. As far as the staff, some there are better suited as McDonald's cashiers than admin/staff at a technical school. It's not 100% terrible, however. There are also a few administrators there who are actually pretty cool. There are 3 professors there whom I'll never forget and to whom I'll always be grateful. It is because of those 3 people this school earned the extra star. Overall, if it is quality which you seek, then there are other schools in the metro that will give you more for your money. I wish I'd have done more research... but hopefully others will be able to learn from my unfortunate mistake.

That's okay however, as i've taken a few classes here and respect this little campus that could. There've been a few welcome additions, namely the newish library rear parking deck and student orientation center. As for professors themselves, the ones i've encountered have all been passionate about what they were teaching, though others may have other experiences. There are so many entrances to GPC that if one is jammed with congestion, you can usually whip around to another exit to get out more quickly, and it will get jammed, especially if the rear stadium is being used, so watch out evening class takers! Must admit, i'm not such a huge fan of their laboratory set ups. They're either too small or stocked with older equipment (though they're slowly getting new equipment), but if you have a good professor, they'll work around those short comings. As someone else mentioned, and I agree with her, classes are dirt cheap compared to GSU or UGA, and depending on where you live, there's a campus somewhere close by. It's a 2 year school, has a little age on it, but you can learn here and at the price you're paying for semester hours, you can't beat it.

The stethoscope and blood pressure cuffs are so cheap! Almost every student stethescope is already broken or not functionin. I can barely pick up heart rates in class! I had to buy that on my own as well! they literally just want your money! Even the uniform is poor quality & you only get 2 for a whole 7 months!! we get emails almost everyday from them threatening to drop us from the school! it's crazy and none of the externships that they assign you to are paid unless you find your own! don't come here!!

They have a department called the Accessible Materials Project, which translates books into ASL, while using captions and voice interpreting.
