We really enjoyed both the mac and cheese and the spinach. We also tried the short rib, which was tender, flavorful, and easily the standout dish of the meal. The service was very good. The order was submitted at 1:58 p.m., as confirmed by the email receipt, and the promised pickup window was 2:15-2:30 p.m. I arrived at approximately 2:22 p.m., which was within the stated window. At the time, the restaurant and bar were nearly empty. I initially spoke with a male manager, who told me they did not have my order. A female manager then came out, asked for the name on the order, and claimed it had only been placed two minutes earlier. I explained that the order had been placed at 1:58 p.m. and that I had the email confirmation to verify it. Rather than acknowledging the discrepancy or calmly explaining that the order needed more time, she became argumentative, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. A professional response would have been to apologize for the delay, provide an accurate update, and invite me to wait at the bar while the order was completed. Instead, she argued that the promised time was 2:30 p.m., even though that was the latest time in the stated pickup window. When I asked whether the order would be ready by 2:30, she responded, "Probably." I have eaten at this location many times and had never experienced service like this before. My father worked for Landry's for many years, and based on the standards I have always associated with the company, I believe Landry's executives would be appalled by the way this situation was handled. I left the restaurant and had my fiancé call to cancel the order. I would appreciate it if this incident could be reviewed with the management team, particularly regarding professionalism, communication, and the proper handling of delayed pickup orders. Came here last night to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary with my daughter, and this place did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. We were seated in a great central area where we could enjoy both the open kitchen and the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made some excellent recommendations throughout the evening. We started with the famous hamburger eggrolls, and they absolutely lived up to the hype -- easily a 10/10. We also had the French onion soup, which was packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The stars of the night were definitely the steaks. The New York strip was cooked medium rare exactly as requested, with a beautiful char and served at the perfect temperature. The ribeye was just as impressive. We paired everything with the creamed spinach and the lobster truffle mac & cheese, both loaded with flavor and the perfect complements to the meal. To finish the evening, the drinks were excellent as well. My wife enjoyed the smoky old-fashioned while I went with the traditional old-fashioned, and both were outstanding. The food was mostly very good. The wings and steak & cheese egg rolls were absolutely delicious, and my "Perfect Margarita" was just that perfect. The steak frites were a solid 9/10. The only dish that missed the mark for me was the Mahi Mahi with black fried rice it lacked flavor compared to everything else. Came here for the galentine dinner which is a great bang for your buck in this economy. The bar area and restaurant was very packed which understandably creates a delay in service. That did affect the flow of dinner to the point we wanted desert but changed our mind. The dinner came with truffle fries, Cesar salad, steak bites with crab on top. Unfortunately the steak was burnt and had a char flavor. Bc it took so long to get the food in the first place we just dealt with it however once our food was dropped off, no one did a 2 bite check we no choice regardless then to deal with it. Went to Del Frisco's Grille this weekend for lunch. Just a heads up you do have to pay for parking. We went during lunch hours so it wasn't too busy, which I loved. We sat in the bar area and it was a nice vibe overall. I did notice quite a few fruit flies around the bar, which wasn't very appealing. We ordered the buffalo wings (highly recommended) and the flavor was good, but the inside of the chicken was cold. Not sure if they were pre-cooked and just reheated, but that was a little disappointing. I had the "sweet potato fries," which were basically sweet potato fries nothing fancy, just your standard side. Now the stars of the show? The service was excellent, before I went into the room the waiter asked me if I wanted something to drink, besides the wine they were serving in the room. He brought me a glass of prosecco. Walked by on las olas and came to check out the bar on a Friday night since it stood out. I have to say I was not disappointed as it's very well themed with a ton of seating thought the bar area. They have a bunch of different drink selections and they are all reasonably priced which is great to know. It definitely has an upscale feel which is a nice deviation from what's on las olas for the most part. I ordered an espresso martini and it was strong and well made. I knew there was a red flag when I sasaw the Marg was pre-mixed! This was happy hour pricing, but this is an upscale restaurant. Come on, please mix a drink when it is ordered. The drink was super sour and I actually love sour, but this was too much, even for me. I am not a fan of cheesesteak but I looked at the reviews and had to try these. They were very tasty. However, I did not love the two sauces on them. They were kind of sweet...or something that threw off the taste. If I come back, I will ask for no sauce. My friend got the sticky ribs. I did not try this but she wasn't thrilled with it. She said they were lacking flavor. We shared the tuna tacos. The tuna is high quality. I asked the bartender for lime go give it a kick. They put a little too much sauce on this but it is a solid appetizer. We each ordered a burger and fry. I knew I would bring some home. This burger is pretty tasty. The fries are good. The inside looks like every other upscale steak house honestly, it would be hard to tell them apart from each other. Service as very attentive and friendly throughout. I'm a big fan of a great steak, so I was excited to finally try del Frisco's. We dined there on New Year's Eve, and honestly, we were fortunate to snag a reservation on short notice for a prime time, given the size of our party. The service was friendly but a little slow, which is understandable on such a busy night. I had to ask a few times to get my water refilled, but that's something I'd expect on New Year's Eve. I'd definitely be curious to see how the service is on a regular night. For the food, I went with the NY Strip. It was a gorgeous cut and cooked well. While I've had better steaks, it was still enjoyable. The truffle mac and cheese, though, was a standout--it's a must-order side. Unfortunately, they were out of Brussels sprouts, so I'll have to try that next time. As for the drinks, they were a bit inconsistent. A few people in our group noticed that their second round of drinks tasted and looked quite different from the first. I'd recommend the bartenders align on recipes to avoid that. I came to Del Frisco's Fort Lauderdale on October 6, 2025 for a birthday dinner with our kids, and I ended up biting into a roach that was cooked inside the spinach dip. I screamed, vomited, and was completely shaken. The manager, Della, pretended not to see the roach when it was shown to her, offered no real apology, and rushed away after comping the meal. No concern for my health, no investigation, nothing. When we asked for a chef or general manager, we were told none were on duty. As we were leaving, the hostess made an inappropriate comment asking, "What are you going to do to the manager?" and then casually said, "All the restaurants on the Las Olas strip have roaches." Completely unprofessional and disturbing. This was traumatic, unsanitary, and handled terribly. Comping the meal did nothing to address the physical sickness and humiliation I experienced. Absolutely unacceptable. I am sharing this so other families understand the severity of what happened and so that corporate takes meaningful action to address both the contamination and the unacceptable way it was handled. read more

Very disappointing. Totally unprepared for a Saturday evening Valentine's Day dinner. First, our reservation for 3 at 7:30 was delayed by 20 minutes so we waited at the bar area. After we were seated we waited over 10 minutes until our waiter arrived. We waited 10 minutes for our water. Our appetizers arrived before our cocktails! My husband's French Onion soup was delivered without a spoon. That took another 10 minutes after we got up from our table to ask someone. Wine glasses and the fourth place setting were left on the table throughout our entire meal. Our meals were flavorful but uninspiring without any presentation at all. Just a steak on a plate. A good friend invited me to celebrate my birthday here this past Monday, and everything, from the food to the atmosphere was perfect. We took a few moments to decide, and in the meantime, she brought us refreshing bottles of sparkling water along with some warm, melt-in-your-mouth bread served with a rich, flavorful butter. For my main, I opted for the prime NY strip steak frites, which was cooked to perfection and topped with a delicious chimichurri sauce. My friend went with the classic prime NY strip, and both dishes were absolutely great, honestly, one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. The service was excellent; our server was attentive but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal without hovering. After dinner, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary slice of cheesecake, which was very delicious. Everything about this restaurant exceeded expectations. It's clean, quiet, and the smooth jazz playing in the background adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Even the restrooms were impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. Decided to take myself out for a pre birthday celebration. First let's address service- I was concerned until the amazing Fakuno (sp) and Anthony greeted me. I was between the short rib and their steak salad. I ended up getting the steak salad that was so delicious I got another to take home for lunch the next day. But one of the patrons next to me got the short rib that smelled and looked like absolute perfection. The patron next to me shared that it was delicious. So I will definitely be back to try that as well. Overall impressed with this franchise that seriously didn't feel like a franchise. Exceptional service from beginning to the end. We tried out the cheesesteak eggrolls and the deviled eggs to start. I thought I would like the deviled eggs better but I have to say the cheesesteak eggrolls took the spotlight. They were perfectly fried, packed in a lot of flavor, and had a sweet chili dipping sauce to go with it. The deviled eggs were good but pretty firm and seemed like it was made earlier on in the day and refrigerated. Still tasty. For our entrees, we ordered a filet mignon cut and added lobster tails. The lobster tail on the menu indicated it was 4 ounces for $23. It was cooked to perfection. The filet mignon was also cooked to our liking and had great taste. I tried the recommended truffle butter accompaniment for $8 and it was good. I wouldn't say it was a necessity to my meal. I imagine that it gets more crowded at dinner and happy hour, which starts at 3 pm daily. Our server suggested a glass of wine, but we opted for iced tea and a bottle of sparkling water. The Tuna taco appetizer was delicious but a very small, sharable portion. Four very much bite-sized mini crunchy tacos served cold. I then ordered the Cobb Salad, and it was a very generous portion. There were plenty of fresh avocado and hard-boiled eggs surrounded by chopped tomatoes and crisp, thick cut bacon. I didn't need any other proteins added, but I did have a choice of adding on steak, chicken, and shrimp. My husband ordered the mahi mahi with black forbidden rice. Our server even told us a quick informative story about how black rice became forbidden. His plate was scraped clean as he really liked how the flavors went well together.
