Dumplin Pot Pie

Delicious spot on the drive. The service was incredibly fast and efficient. The food is tapas style so you get to try multiple, reasonably priced options. My husband and I really enjoyed the Moroccan shrimp and Basil Caesar! Both dishes were bursting with flavor. The restaurant is stunning as well and a perfect spot for date night. Check them out!

Had a great experience at PROOF. We stopped by with coworkers before the Pride Parade and had an amazing time. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Our server, Roberto, was amazing--friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Highly recommend for a quick bite, dinner, or even a work event!

What a beautiful transformation from the previous restaurant at this site! The dark, modern and sophisticated vibe is a welcome addition to The Drive. The cocktail bar plus elevated small plate food fare concept is pretty unique for the gayborhood. I can think of only one other place that comes close. Hopefully people will find Proof even after dinner since the craft cocktails are excellent. The Balanced Bloom was definitely balanced; delicious gin-based and not too sweet. The bar even has craft mocktails for teetotalers. Except for the prices, I am still not sure of the difference between Small Plates and My Sized Plates. Both are well curated along with cute names, and good menu descriptions. Both are small sized servings. Dumplin' Pot Pie was not as thick and creamy as I thought it would be. It was more like soup than stew. But it was beautiful, delicious and tasty! Bone to Pick roasted bone marrow was excellent. Scott M liked his 2 Mini Mac Sliders. His Truffle Sticks came out cold and soggy; the fries were quickly replaced but still soggy for some reason, and the manager took it off the bill. Service truly shines here. The gracious hostess worked hard to get us the right table. Kudos because it was opening week and the place was slammed; however we were one of just 2 parties with reservations and no table reserved inside for us. We were finally seated on a sidewalk table before we requested to be moved inside. Hopefully they adjust to prioritize parties who made reservations vs walk-ins. The owner enthusiastically greeted us. The FOH manager was so personable to me as we talked in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was super friendly and helpful with the menu, and of course she remembered us from The West End. Even with her busy kitchen, Chef Marcy came out and chatted with us a few times. The staff made us feel like special guests! I can only see the trajectory headed up for this place. We will be back to try more food and cocktails!

Proof has done an amazing job updating the previous "old school" (and I mean really old school) restaurant. The decor is beautiful and picture worthy. This is a tapas style restaurant. It offers some unique twists like "southern caviar" aka boiled peanuts. Also, is their take on chicken pot pies and skirt steak. I was disappointed with my Manhattan style cocktail - and cocktails are all important in Wilton Manors. Nonetheless this is a nice addition bringing new life to the spot.

It was date night and I made reservations to try Proof with my partner. It was busy with everyone wanting to try the new venue on Wilton Drive. We were seated promptly. My partner ordered the mini Mac burgers. Two sliders came with the buns branded with "Proof". Nice touch! My partner said he wished there were 3 burgers. Not much to share. He said they were average and nothing special. I ordered the Cauliflower Mosaic. It arrived ten minutes after the sliders. Bad timing! The cauliflower was roasted and sat on a bed of curry flavored hummus. Truthfully, I was disappointed in the dish. It had so much potential! For one thing, the portion was very small. It should be three times larger or they need to list it on the small plates side of the menu. It comes on an appetizer plate. This is not an entree. The temperature was luke warm and the flavors need more spice. Very sad. We shared a Cesar salad. It was good but not "huge". Barely enough for two. We could have used a serving spoon to divide it up. We each had a glass of wine. The pour was fine. Our take on Proof- after $80, we both left hungry. This is not a place to go if you are hungry. The portions are small. The food timing is bad too. We can't even say the food was amazing. It was just okay. I recommend eating next door at the Greek place. Better experience for sure!

Truffle Sticks, Moroccan Shrimp, and the Dumplin' Pot Pie

We had one of the best dining experiences on Wilton Drive at Proof -- a true gem in Wilton Manors! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was perfect -- chic yet inviting, with a lively but relaxed vibe that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. We kicked things off with the Truffle Sticks, which were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and paired beautifully with the house sauces. The Moroccan Shrimp followed and wow -- the sweet heat sauce was incredible, with big, juicy shrimp that melted in your mouth. And the Dumplin' Pot Pie? Hands down one of the most creative and flavorful dishes we've had in a long time -- rich, comforting, and delightfully unexpected. What really made the night stand out was the service. Our server, Vanessa, was absolutely phenomenal -- knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely friendly throughout our meal. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dave, the manager/owner, who stopped by to check in and made us feel truly welcomed. His passion for the restaurant and the guest experience really shines. We've eaten at many spots on the Drive, and Proof easily rivals (and in some cases surpasses) them in food quality, creativity, and hospitality. Whether you're coming for small plates, cocktails, or a full dinner, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to go back!

I'm Absolutely Overwhelmed with our very first dining experience with this Stunning new Restaurant in Wilton Manors called.... PROOF !!! Where do we get such EXCELLENT Food and EXCELLENT Customer Service And a Beautiful and Relaxing Environment all in one night??? WELL....PROOF IT IS !! We went last night for the very first time and the three of us was overwhelmed from the time we walked in !! The Manager JR "WHO WE LOVED" By the way ! greeted us with such great, energy and truly welcomed us no matter what time of the night it was. Nelson was our server for the evening and he as well went above and beyond and made sure he checked in with us frequently. We weren't EVER DISAPPOINTED!!! Thank You Nelson!! Then there was the One and Only.... Marcy !!! She consistently made sure we were ok and even took the time during her busy schedule to sit down with us to have a conversation. WHO DOES THIS THESE DAYS ? MARCY DOES !!! NOW THATS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Now.... The food was Exceptionally Delicious and Resonably Priced and even ordered more tapas when needed. The decor is absolutely GORGEOUS and Welcoming and felt EXTREMELY comfortable the entire evening. We will definitely go back ASAP ! #DefinitelyTheRealDeal #AMustTryEveryone #WelcomeToTheNeighborhood

Caviar

One of my fave chefs in South Florida, opened her newest venture, Proof on "the Drive" in Wilton Manors. So of course the second we hit FLL, we made a beeline to the restaurant. To only be open a month, they are extremely busy. Snagged 2 seats at the bar, 8pm last Saturday night. What I like about Proof it's small to mid size plates concept, which is perfect when you don't want a lot, but are feeling different things. We stayed on the "feeling fancy" side of things, starting off with both the escargot and the escargNO, which is the vegetarian version. Both are phenomenal, get the real version without the puff pastry. Moving on to the chimichurri steak, it was cooked perfectly. I had to order the New Money because who doesn't love caviar! I was definitely excited to see Markys Caviar as the caviar of choice, it was a phenomenal presentation, and a great end to the night. Run, don't walk to Proof and have a damn good time.

Down home

Amazing Saturday brunch experience!! Nothing could have been better! Vanessa our server was exceptional! We had the chimi chimi and eggs and the down home! Both 10 out of 10! Plus bottomless mimosas/bellinis for only $25! The music and the vibe is perfect!

However, the corn muffins were delicious and the perfect small fish for both savory and sweet. Overall, a nice visit to this local spot.

We ordered drinks to start...Pinot grigio for me and Corona for the hubby. We looked over the menu a bit and started off with 3 shareables..the eggplant with honey, shisito peppers and octopus gallega...The eggplant with honey was an interesting dish (in a good way) and very tasty...they peppers were good as well but my husband wasn't a fan of the octopus gallega. For the 2nd round, we ordered another round of drinks and then the pan con tumaca, manchego croquettes and octopus in garlic sauce. I loved the toast with tomato "jam" as well as the manchego croquettes...I would re-order both of these. My husband wasn't a fan of the octopus in garlic sauce as he felt it was a bit too salty. He also ordered another dish, the seafood salpicon and this dish he really loved! For dessert we opted for the crema catalana...similar to a creme brulee...it was good...I also had a latte which was a nice accomplishment to the dessert. After dinner we headed to their Hidden Speakeasy (behind the pantro door). In there we each had another drink to end the evening. They do have a food menu in there which was different from the restaurant. It would be fun to just come with a group of friends and chill for a while. All in all, a tasty meal and a fun date night!
