Best colorists ever! Normally I only have my hair cut professionally, and attempt to cover the grey on my own, but my hair color always turned out looking flat, and over-processed. New to Clarence, I was hot on the hunt for my new hair place. I was wavering between trying this one and another one in Clarence but I decided to try here, and this one has a new fan! Got a 5pm appointment and was taken right back at appointment time. Always appreciate timely appointments! Had my hair appointment with Sam or Samantha (receptionist called her Sam, other reviews on here call her Samantha. Same awesome chick) for some root color, highlights and cut. Sam nailed the root color. My hair turns auburn easy and I told her how I don't like it red so she did a great job getting those roots a nice golden brown color. Covered up all my gray! I always feel kinda stabby when I leave a hair salon and I look in the mirror in the car and see any left behind gray and Sam did a great job making sure she got ALL of that hidden. Did an awesome job with the highlights too! I normally just do a one length, shoulder length cut. I'm a Mom, my toddler is a terrorist, 90% of the time my hair is in a ponytail to avoid be yanked. Sam suggested putting in some layers. I'm old enough to know that it's just hair, it always grows back. So figured, "why not? worse case I hate it and I'll just grow it out. Best case it looks awesome". Sam kept the layers all long enough I can still toss it back in a ponytail. My hair is fine and thin but with the layers in, it got a lot more volume. When I walked in the door my husband said to me all shocked, "Your hair... it's not flat. It looks like it has volume". He was very pleased. I am too, it's nice to have a cut that has a style about it but is still low maintenance enough I can rock my ponytails. I can def say I looked better walking out than walking in. My hair color is very pretty now and Sam gave me a cut that even my husband noticed. Sam is very nice and excellent at making chitchat. I'm an introvert and really suck at it, so I always notice when other people are good at it. They have good magazines here to read while your color sets. The prices are really good. There is a parking lot. I already made my next appointment, Sam really won me over with her talent for hair! read more

Still looking good thanks to Samantha. I can only really get home to visit Buffalo a few times a year and I still have her do my hair. This time it was 6 months of regrowth and no cut or color. I put a before and after pic up so you can see the total change. We cut so much hair and I was happy she let me be indecisive and cut it shorter and I'm glad I did love my new do. Thx Sam read more

First impressions: the salon is adorable! Very clean and quaint. I'm from California, and you don't see cute salons like that very frequently unless you're ready to pay an arm and a leg for a haircut. I got my hair cut and styled by Tony. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. When you get a haircut, it's great to know that the person who's cutting your hair is passionate and educated about hair, and Tony is just that. Usually when I get my hair cut, it takes me a long time to adjust to the look of it. With this haircut, I loved it automatically, and so did my husband. It's been about two days and he still talks about how much he likes it! Overall, I highly recommend Del Monte Hair Systems! Having just turned 60, maintaining my Youthful side is really important to me. I enjoy trendy hair styles and im not afraid to experiment with new color trends. My Artist, Lynn Rizzo Wright, had envi sioned a new look she thought would be perfect for me.i went in for roots and highlights. i usually have some form of red or dark brown in the winter and add highlights in spring. On This date Lynn told me she had envisioned me with a new "Color Block" with the primary color very dark brown with the front section a very bright red. I refer to Lynn as an Artist because she is truly that creative, and i trusted her implicitly...so tbe process began. Even as Lynn rinsed and towel dried my hair, people in the salon were already commenting on the color combination. I can tell you that by the time i left DelMontes, i looked 10 years younger with a sassy new look that suited me perfectly. Everywhere i go people compliment me and love the look.
