I bought a spa package for my birthday (facial, massage, mani, pedi, hair - wash & blow) Worse experience ever except for the facial. Masseuse was chatting about politics and gas prices. Pedicure was 2 hours long just to come out sloppy and bumpy. Manicure was awful pic included. Hair was left frizzy and damp. It's like Supercuts masked as a salon and spa. Hidden fees all over the place and staff watched as I paid all lined up on the wall as if to pressure me into tipping. I emailed them and they never reached out. I paid a dollar for every minute they messed up my hair. I attended the Euphoria salon on Sunday, March 2 at 2:50 p.m for a 3 p.m haircut. When I arrived I was told that they couldn't find my appointment. They took it upon themselves to cancel my appointment, no email or call asking if it was okay or even confirming the cancellation. They apologized profusely and offered to have me cut by another stylist of theirs, I accepted and chose Lindsay (As shown in second picture). She was very nice and understanding of what I wanted. I asked for a trim to cut my dead ends off, layers, and face shaping (First picture is the before of my hair). She estimated the trim to be about an inch but I wanted a bit more so I asked for an inch to an inch and a half on top of that. That's two to three inches max. At first I thought she was trimming layers so that's why she was going so high. No. She cut a little less than a foot of my hair (As shown in the third picture). The session started at 3 pm and ended exactly 40 minutes later even though she said "This will take a while". That's including wash, cut, blow dry, and styling. I've never received a haircut for less than an hour, I have long and thick hair. She was rough the entire time, both my hair and my head hurt. It was too late to say anything about the length. Usually you'd speak up about the service but I was too preoccupied trying not to cry. The session ended and Lindsay told the front desk to not charge me for the long hair charge since I left a good impression. It went from $80 to $60 without the extra charge. I started sobbing to the front desk saying that it was the worst cut I've ever had, she quietly informed me "I'm so sorry, and honestly, I've been trying to get her fired for a while". She was nice enough to bring my session down to $40. I left a wreck and without half my hair. That doesn't even include the inappropriateness of her outfit, she wasn't put together in the slightest. So this was the second time I came to this salon. I came one time for my hair to get just a wash and blow out but not only did they not tell me about add ins and additional charges the blow came out look so frizzy. They took a small percentage off but it was still expensive for what ever god given reason. Second time I came I needed a last minute pedicure. I came and the girl said they don't specialize in nails here when I asked for a french tip which I understood okay. But the gel polish on my toes is so bumpy and thick that today I took my sock off from work and some how must've bumped my toe or something at some point and because the gel polish is so caked on and thick it took my toe nail off with it. I made a complaint on the site because it asked about my experience, I gave my honest opinion and got a voicemail left by somebody named Lindsay at the salon. She asked if I would like to come back and they could make things right. But at this point I don't ever want to even step foot in that salon I want my money back because now my toe nail is fallen off and it's not like my toe hurts or anything not even a bruise so it must've been one wrong move in my sock at work and it took the whole nail after snagging on the gel. I don't want to come in and have somebody else mess up on My toes when it's not a nail salon even though they have pedicure chairs. I'd like my money back but it didn't sound like that was an option when I called her back. Please save your money and go get a wash and blow out at Bangz where they too a great job and go to a real nail salon. Not this one or a chop shop. Stay clear of this place I'm convinced it's a scam because it's in the mall and it's like a sick joke lol read more

Dead skin still on my damn feet after I explained that was what I was mainly there for. Overall worst most expensive experience I've ever encountered. I have been going here on and off for over a decade now. If the prices were a bit more affordable and it wasn't located in the mall, I would be a frequent customer. I did appreciate the birthday offer I was sent via email, a free mini facial or manicure with any spa service. I figured why not get both, you only live once. The mini facial was the service I started with. So relaxing , after 20 minutes I wanted more. The salon employee was very complimentary about my skin, asked what my skin care regimen was. ( don't have one, so good genes I guess) Next up was the manicure. I found a lovely shade of purple polish. Maddie (I was able to catch her name) was very gentle while grooming my nails, and made nice small talk. They did recommend some of their products but didn't hard sell me on them. I would consider coming back again for a full hour facial, but I'll wait until tax return time for that opportunity. read more

Such a wonderful experience at euphoria yesterday. My fiancé and I went for a Mani/Pedi together and we had such an awesome time with amazing treatment. The girls were beyond sweet and friendly and I feel like I made a really good friend. Courtney spent so much extra time with me and took really good care of doing my nails with such detail for an important event that I have coming up. She was extremely creative and I had a blast letting her design my nails. Not to mention the great conversation! It's not always easy finding the right person who would really do a great job and take such pride in their work and creativity. I would follow her anywhere. Definitely loved my experience! The nail person never got to my polish until 2 hrs into the visit, had NO idea what she was doing and the result was a blotchy, messed up fail. I've been here a few times and have by and large been happy with the massages but definitely not with the cost. If you're in a pinch or don't mind paying more, then by all means, go here. Maria Muscarella at Euphoria changed my life with one of her haircuts. Seriously. I don't know what she did, but suddenly, 20+ years of hair confusion, identity crisis and mediocrity were resolved with a pair of thinning shears and a new set of swoop bangs. Maybe it's because she's in Buffalo, where everyone has my kinda curly hair -- as does she -- but she just got in there and GOT IT DONE. The result looked like a mullet when blown out, but when I did it myself using the products I picked up there, it worked. How often does that actually happen? I can't speak for the rest of the studio staff, but Maria's worth braving the Galleria experience, especially since you get a shoulder massage thrown in to make you forget you're in the mall. (That said, Aveda's always a bit of a splurge, at least by B-lo standards, so be warned.) read more

After having been subjected to all kinds of torture at Aimee and Amy, I sought the comfort of an Aveda salon, and the one on Elmwood wouldn't call me back! (f*ckers) Lo and Behold, the mall place was awesome! Vinny talked me through everything before he even touched his scissors, then proceeded carefully and thoughfuly, suggesting we stop were we did, and if I was unhappy in a few days I could come back for a touch up. Ended up loving my haircut, loving the product Vinny suggested, and then there's the added bonus of the Aveda post-haircut mini-massage. Always welcome. I wanted to check out Euphoria because I'm getting married in Buffalo in September and was interested in going there for all of my getting-pretty needs before the big day. My future husband and I both got hair cuts and I also got a mani/pedi. A week later the mani is falling apart but that's all me but the pedi is hanging in there and I dig my hair cut. It was a very calming place. Some of the towels were kind of ratty. I liked the online reservation system. I got a coupon in my email after signing up. However, I tried to schedule a hair cut for my FH while I was getting my nails done and there weren't appointments on the website but I could make one on the phone. Not a big deal but a little annoying. Also, you know how when they wash your hair they usually put a towel between your head and the sink? They didn't and it kinda hurt. Anyway, I enjoyed my experience enough and will probably be back. read more

I got the worst gel manicure I've ever had here. It was bubbling up & peeling within 48 hrs and didn't even last 4 days over all. I called to reschedule within the first 24 hrs but wasn't able to come in because of my exam schedule. I was subsequently shocked when, only a few days later, the rest of my polish began to chip and peel. I'm a student so I don't do a lot of heavy work with my hands. This was just a sub-par job. I won't be going back here for any services ever. Not impressed. The manager did not return my call so I'm posting this review. Went to get a massage with my mother. When we first walked in everything appeared nice and professional, the staff took our coats and offered us water. However, for customers looking to relax the environment definitely did not help. The salon where they had us wait (on a tiny bench) was busy and loud. We were there for about an hour and had nothing to lean our backs against making it very uncomfortable to sit. Finally our masseuse came out but was very short with us. Both our massages seemed rushed and definitely not worth the amount we paid. And to top it all off, the masseuse asked my mother if I was her granddaughter! My mom is in amazing shape and actually looks way younger than her age, people confuse us as sisters! The comment was so rude and did not make my Mom feel good at all, which is what people working at a salon shouldn't do!!!!!! We will not be returning, definitely not worth the price. read more

Don't expect to pay what you see on their website. Go in for a color treatment that they have listed for a certain price and to get that price, you have to walk out with wet hair. Yep, an extra fee to dry your hair when WETTING IT IS PART OF THE PROCESS! I'm surprised I didn't get charged for the hand massage they were wandering around offering. This is not Southbeach or mid town Manhattan its Buffalo and most of us don't have that kind of money for a color cut and blow-dry. If we do have that kind of money we are hopefully smart enough not to spend it on our hair. I really feel like I was taken advantage of. I will never step foot in that salon again. I also would like to add that the Aveda products that they sell are not that great. When I walked in I told them that I wanted my roots touched up and a trim.
