I like to patronize small businesses because they need the business. Normally I go into the store and I buy all kinds of things on a regular basis. They have a lot of convenient items, drinks, food, wine and lottery tickets, and just general things you might need. I live in the neighborhood, so it's close. Today, I called them to ask whether or not they had half and half creamer for coffee, and the guy who answered just hung up on me! It would have taken him 10 seconds to answer me. It would have been a very nice courtesy like a normal store would do so. He was really lazy and rude.. so unnecessary!!! I called back, and he had put the phone on fax. He could have just given me the answer very quickly. It wouldn't have been any trouble, really, so he missed a chance to be a nice human being and be helpful in a quick, easy way. Instead, he certainly didn't *make my day*, to say the least. I live in the neighborhood, and I walk over there on a regular basis. I'm going to make a complaint with the owner because it's a small community, and somehow I have to believe that the owner cares about the people that come into their store. And people should not be treated that way in any case, by whoever's working there. Today, I just needed a quick answer so I would know whether or not to walk over there! read more

I was just humiliated by a rude employee of the store who took it upon himself to yell at me in front of other people sitting outside. Yelling at women in public is absolutely unacceptable. I attempted to ask him questions and he was defensive, argumentative and just unbelievably rude. I will never shop here again. He is a short, overweight man for reference. read more

Since is the only place in the area where you could have a nice coffee by the water is hard to believe that they don't have milk to offer...I think you should take advantage of the situation and location and offer a better service. Cool little store for boaters and local residents. This is the store on the Fuel Dock that boaters use in Marina del Rey. They carry beer, drinks, snacks... some grocery items and boater supplies. Great view and fun place to check out the large yachts that frequent the marina. read more

I called the store the next day, to confirm our suspicion on the high cost for a single beer, and Tony, the manager, was able to explain the problem. I really love this place. I came from Catalina to fill up my sailboat and was met by a really nice redhead gentleman in a funny "woof" hat. He filled us up promptly, and was happy to answer our hundreds of questions while he was filling up our fuel tanks. He even took the time to teach our kids how to properly tie down the boat. The fuel is a little pricey, but that staff makes up for it. They don't make it clear, but you can tip. They should get a tip jar or something. Also, I noticed speakers all along the dock. They should play music, then it would be an awesome atmosphere. read more

Last week for the first time in years I fueled here. I was shocked that I paid $4.50 a gallon for 400 gallons of diesel fuel. What was worse is when I signed the receipt there wasn't any description of what I was charged for? I asked about it and was told that's the practice here. No sales tax, no nothing. Just the 400 gallons times the $4.50 per gallon cost. It's not the fact that in San pedro two weeks ago I paid $2.75 out the door. It's the fact that I don't know what I was charge for tax or anything else in the extra $1.75 per gallon. It's a shame that no one questions it? People seem OK to pay the extra dollars for the convenience but don't know what the extra gouging is going to. You would think the county would investigate but why? They get a good piece of the money. Very interesting. read more

Love this little place! has lots of fishing supplies, snacks, bait (at times, call ahead) and the view is priceless. Visiting sea birds, barking seals and a mega yacht or two make this a place to relax and enjoy a coffee or snack. BTW They also sell Lotto tickets and scratchers! read more

I was ther on 3/29/21 asked they person on the dock if they sell cases of water. He said yes. bought two cases of white claw one cacti agave spiked cider four bags of ice two cases of Aquafina water. Total 157.10. The captain on the boat we were on wanted to get out before the seas got to rough. So I didn't pay much attention. That night looked at my receipt. Got charged 79.50 for fifty bottles of water. Why would the person on the dock not tell me we charge individually for bottles of water. Also there is 24 bottles to a case. Why did I get charged for fifty. Left a message Monday night, got a call back Tuesday morning. all the person on the phone that I spoke with said was sorry my For the misunderstanding but there's nothing we can do we charge individually for bottles of water. I will never go there again and I am asking my brother in law who owns the yacht not to stop there either. Horrible customer service. read more
