The worst customer service ever! The cahiers there are so rude and completely unhelpful. The pump card readers often don't work and they do nothing to try and help, just sit there and expect you to run back and forth between them and the cashier's booth. Unfortunately they are super close to where I live so convenient. However, today was the last straw and I'm never going there again. If I can leave a negative stars, I would. The owner, hired incompetent people hired someone that couldn't count cash I gave his employer Debashi I think that's how it's spelled. I gave him $45 in fives and he had to count it three times and still couldn't get it right and he did not know how to put it in the machine so I can use my pavilions points he had to give me back my cash, so I walked away, frustrated and with no gas. I went to the Chevron in MDR the other day just to check the air in my tires. I don't carry much cash on me these days, so I gave the serviceman $1.00 tip for checking and filling tires with air. He threw it back to me and said "I can't buy myself candy with this, buy yourself candy". "Think about it". I went to get $10 worth of gas. It is a clean station, both inside and out. I stepped inside to get something to drink and buy my gas. I started to make small talk, but the person at the register was so very rude. When he gave me my change, I started walking away without my coins. He proceeded to yell at me about coming back to get it. It was not an uplifting experience. read more

Attn OWNER! Today is Sat July 4th 1pm. Your clerk at the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE to my 84 y/o mother! The gas pumps seem to display error message when using credit card. Going inside to ask for assistance, your clerk RUDELY tells my mother "JUST TRY A DIFFERENT PUMP!" Really? ‼CARD USERS BEWARE‼ I recently used my credit card at the Mc Donald's and the drive thru attended stole my credit card information. I bought food from the Mc Donald's drive thru on Sept. 9, 2018 in the evening around 9:00pm. The guy who worked at the drive thru window took my credit card for payment and took a long time returning my card. He had walked out of my sight for awhile with my card. I received my food before he almost forgot to return my card. The next day I was called my bank about fraud and someone had my credit card number. Management needs to check this employee or employees out that work the night shift because I know this wasn't the first time they did this. read more

Came in since my was on E. E as in empty and I've heard from many friends in the automotive industry especially ones who work with gasoline companies that Chevron is one of the best fuel for your car. I notice a huge difference between Arco and Chevron. Arco burns out quicker and even though cheaper each time you come to to pump more gas into your car, it ends up costing more. I came on a Wednesday at 9:00 pm and it was pretty empty so no trouble pulling up to a spot. Pretty quick in and out. No issues with the card transaction at the pump. I did debit, though I recommend using credit cards because there have been incidents where someone would go and get all the info entered in the machine. I used Regular with Techron gas because I drive a Toyota Camry and my car doesn't really benefit with Plus or Supreme. I learned that from my car engineer friends who educated me on octanes. Costco only has Unleaded or Premium for a reason. Your car has to have the right technology to benefit from the more expensive Supreme that'll help your car drive better. Luxury cars or high end sport cars benefit with the premium fuel. Didn't deal with cashier so I have no comments on customer service. All I can say is I had no issues on my stop here. They also have a monitor at the pump with the weather report and ads. Doesn't really benefit me much except for the short period I'm waiting I have something to stare at other than the street or my phone. Better to be aware at the gas station anyway. I'm sure it's more beneficial for the gas stations to get you to come inside and purchase snacks or whatnot. read more

I was getting followed by a homeless man who was threatening me and I went into this chevron to get help. The cashier was absolutely amazing and told the man to go away, helped me call 911 and ultimately helped me out the back door to go across the street to the emergency room. If not for this cashier I don't think I'd be safe right now and who knows what would've happened. If I wasn't terrified to walk in that area again I would run back there tomorrow just to thank him. Fed up, asked the attendant Azad and he acknowledged it doesn't work and didn't care. Other Chevrons work without issue and not same day. Suspicious. read more

DISHONEST and SUPER RUDE! Indian cashier at Gasoline Chevron located 4680 Lincoln Boulevard, Marina Del Rey, CA. 6:00am went to get gas and never had to go more than 3 stations at 1 gasoline station just to get the gasoline. After the 3rd station and still not working, it's telling me to pay inside. Paid for $20 at the cashier with the same card I used at those 3 stations at the same location. Finally, getting the gas but then it STOPPED before reaching the $20 value. I heard another couple of customers complained about the nozzle doesn't work at the other station too. I came back inside with the receipt and asking why the nozzle stopped pumping before reaching $20 and he said that 'I don't know how to pump the gasoline into my car' ... OMG ... drive me crazy ... I've been in this country for 10 years and this is the first time ever I had to go to 3 stations at 1 Gasoline station at Chevron and an Indian RUDE cashier telling me that I don't know how to use the nozzle??? .. LOL .. And my point, how many people would pay attention or even bother to take the receipt after The nozzle stopped running the gas into your car? Especially early in the morning or in the hurry? That Chevron Gasoline station doesn't seem honest to me. And I've learned all of the customers have to pay inside to get the gasoline this morning. Stay away! This place is now very sketchy (used to not be this way). Lots of homeless people hang out here frequently who at times get very angry and hostile. One man here ran up to my car and to other people yelling and swearing at them and verbally threatening them with his fists hands up in the air. I had to go get security. I will never come here for gas again! Somebody needs to seriously manage the problem with these belligerent people hanging out here. I would give this gas station NEGATIVE FIVE stars if I could. Hands down, the worse gas station in LA. It takes 10 minutes to fill up your tank, granted I have an X5 - but it is ridiculously slow. The more cars at the gas station, the slower it goes. And being right off Lincoln, there's usually a lot of cars there. The only reason I am 'forced' to go to this gas station is because I have Vons club reward points and it discounts $.20/gal. I've encountered two pumps that malfunction. I enter my Vons club reward #, sit through all the obnoxious beeps the pump makes, then swipe my CC, then enter my zip code, more obnoxious beeps, waits 30 seconds for authorization and then goes back to the main screen asking me to enter my vons club # again....and completely wastes one of my available gas rebates!!! Do yourself a favor, and go to the Union 76 station a little farther north on Lincoln at Maxella. read more

Hey I don't usually post reviews on Yelp but the service I received at the Chevron was so atrocious I just had to post. I have been a neighbor and customer for over 10 years and I had this experience where I walked in looking for some items inside the store and was very rudely told to step back from the counter and treated like a vagrant. Was trying to find some fronto leaf and they have a section of the store which is not gated off where there are candy bars to the left hand side and some cigars... No gates no restrictions telling you to stay out of this area and was told a very rudely to get out of the area when I did I am mentioned that they should put up a gate there if they don't want people to go there which I received the same response step back from this area... Don't know how I'm supposed to shop when I'm the only person in line and being told to step back. Very overweight Hispanic lady at the cashier overpriced gas plus credit card fee... This is the Chevron attached to a McDonalds on Lincoln. The staff is very rude and always takes forever to help you. They seem uninterested in helping out their customers. Bad service and misleading pricing. They charge more for credit card like many other stations, but unlike other stations, they only show this pricing on their small sign close to the ground (easy to miss) instead of the big, tall one everyone can see.
