The reviews for this place are pretty bad. We avoided it u til one day while at WM next door, we decided to share a combo. First. Wtf with the price? 2 tacos with fries and a drink large was almost $12. Idk if that's normal but it felt insulting. Otherwise the tacos were actually good. I had to use a kiosk to place my own order. I think they are going out of business because they had trash bags over their registers.

The food here is decent for a quick stop, but the customer service experience was honestly frustrating. The outside ordering system and speaker were not working correctly, making it hard to hear or even place an order properly. I ordered 5 crunchy tacos and ended up getting 5 soft tacos instead. I drove all the way home before realizing the order was wrong, so I had to waste time and gas coming back. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how staff handles them. Instead of feeling helped or understood, I felt brushed off when I tried explaining the issue to the manager and letting them know the ordering system outside clearly needs attention. I wasn't trying to complain just to complain. I simply expected respect, a correct order, and better customer service after having to come back because of a mistake that likely started with the broken speaker/order system. Hopefully management improves both the communication and the way customers are treated when problems happen. read more

Loved, loved the Del Taco tacos. They are a little bigger than the mini ones but with lots more meat, cheese and tomatoes. Service is fast and the establishment is always clean. We love this place and the food is super good. read more

I wouldn't even hive this location 1 star but unfortunately with yelp you have to at least give 1 star to leave a review. Upon walking in the place smelled like rotten chicken total appetite killer. There were flies everywhere alive and dead. There were dead flies in the window seals and there n the dining tables. The fries came out looking like they were cooked in very old and dirty grease. I don't have one in town where I am from but I will definitely never visit this location again. read more

I heard about Del's new Chipotle Carne Asada Steak Burrito (over 1/2 pound), so I figured I'll give it a try. The man with the beard took my order, wasn't really nice, acted like he is doing me a favor to have the meal. So I ordered the burrito with a large fry and drink. Few minutes later he called and when I opened the wrapper, I was shocked. Instead up nicely rolled like a BURRITO should be, it was a flat, skinny mass, meat hanging out of the tortilla. When I opened the tortilla to see what's inside, there was 3 (yes, three) pieces of "steak" dry and hard like rubber. All I saw was beans, a far fetch of over 1/2 pounds, as the picture ad said. The large fries were all soggy and dripping of grease, obviously old and reheated. This was the W. O. R. S. T. EVER meal I have had at any DT I have visited in the past. What made my dining experience even more terrible is that the staff behind the counter were talking extremely loudly, screaming and laughing. The condiments section, where the salt supposedly be was empty, only pepper. When I entered and wanted to sanitize my hands, the dispenser was empty. So I wrapped up, threw everything to the trash bin and left. Coming from California, this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Waited for one car ahead to get their order and paid at 6:42. Finally got our food at 6:58. Absolutely zero communication or apologizes for the wait.. read more

This is one of the best fast food taco chains. The food is good with fresh ingredients and served fast. The street tacos are on corn tortillas. Surprisingly they have really good burgers too. You can't beat the taco Tuesday special. read more

Good tacos--especially the del Taco and snack tacos. No luck with anything else--especially the tamales--just awful. Horrible service inside too--the fountain syrup machine was leaking water--when a patron pointed it out a worker just put up a sign. I saw at least 2 seniors almost fall in it. Yes it's a chain, but it's one I don't have where I live so I usually stop here when I'm in town. As usual the service varies depending on the experience and enthusiasm of the employees. Mostly pretty good. The menu is changed every so often. Worth a visit for a cheap lunch. read more

This drive thru line took probably 20 minutes and it was only 4 cars total. Then they got my order wrong and gave me a crunchy taco instead of a soft flour tortilla. I travel through Yuma a couple of times a year...I have been a fan of Del Taco for 40 years. I was in need of a quick bite, and thought Del Taco would fit the bill. Settled on a number 1 combo and was going to add a burrito. The restaurant was empty. There were at least 3 employees that I could see...one who made eye contact with me a couple of times, she was running the drive through. There was a young man prepping plastic trays, he had quite a stack of them going, and was working nearly right in front of me, no effort was made by anyone to acknowledge a new customer. Being that I was trying for quick, I left. Did stop at the next town down the eastbound 8 and stopped at a Jack in the box where they promptly acknowledged and delivered. read more

I just had the most disgusting food in Yuma! And I'm not just saying that. Everything was cold including my burrito. The carnitas fries were soggy and there was literally a fork full of carnitas on them. The guacamole/chicken burrito was so disgusting I threw it away after four bites. It was cold and soggy too. There was hardly any chicken on it and rice was like paste. All the ingredients tasted old, like they had the burrito made earlier and threw it on the grill to warm it up. How can a Mexican food fail to make their own food inedible? I purchased a $19 Dr Pepper. I guess it was partly my fault when I noticed nobody in the parking lot nor the drive thru. I was driving through the area on the evening of 4/8/2022. My children and I were on our way to do some work at an orphanage in Mexico when we decided to stop here for some food. I ordered what I normally do, chicken soft tacos with an extra side of special sauce. When I got to the window and paid, the girl handed me my food. I noticed the special sauce wasn't in the bag and when I asked her about it she said "oh we are all out of special sauce" so I asked what sauce they put on my tacos if they didn't put special sauce. I thought that was a valid question considering special sauce is one of the main ingredients in the chicken tacos and had I known they were out of sauce I would have ordered something else. She then went to the back and got another woman who I assume was the manager? This was a very obese Hispanic woman who had tattoos on her neck and wore absurdly long fake eyelashes. She rudely said "we don't have sauce." I replied "I understand that but I thought that was an ingredient in the tacos?" She reiterated "I already told you we don't have sauce." Assuming she didn't understand the question I reworded it " I'm just wondering what you guys put in my tacos then?" This is where she got more aggressive and confrontational so I ended the interaction. The staff is very unprofessional. They should have notified me before making my food that they were out of a key ingredient and they should have been able to tell me what they did put in my tacos after the fact. I did end up giving the food back because I didn't feel safe eating it at that point. read more

First time at Del Taco. Lack of variety in Yuma led us to this fast food joint. I imagined a raunchier taco bell, but casting my ignorance aside, you could choose some health concious meals here as well. Food was low quality (as expected), but macros weren't too shabby. read more

Customer service in the drive-thru is a lot to be desired. 05/19 approx around the 2:30ish pm hour. I'm sure it can be figured out by the managers of this place who was the culprit. The food service/cashier needs to work on her customer skills...very rude!!! Especially to seniors. When I asked about senior discount she huffed at me....That's all I needed to drive off. I live like a five minute drive from this location. I have been going thru the drive thru several times. Lately, i have seen a change, the employees have covered the timer in the drive thru. The last couple of times i've gone there, i have been asked to go park, and my order has been brought a min. later. The last time all this happend my order was brought out to me and i asked about sauce, the person went back inside, came back out and dropped a handfull on my passanger seat, and walked away. The contents of my order where dry, cold, and the employees seemed to care little. i will not be going back, they have lost my business, there is a panda express right next door, thats where i go now. read more

Went threw the drive thew the first lady got our order wrong 3 different times, another guy got on the head set and got it wrong as well finally I was tired of repeating myself I went inside and the manager kept giving me dirty looks while slamming around on the cash register. Drove home about 15 mins away and had to turn around cause they got the order wrong not once not twice but three times. I asked for our food to be made fresh he got mad was giving us attitude and came up and slammed our food on the counter.
