While I've had many dogs, none that required regular grooming. Maria was very helpful telling us the different options to groom a golden. I was happy to find out they allow the dogs roam, and don't use cages. Kiera got a bath, a cut, deshedding, the works! She is so soft and fluffy and seemed to really enjoy her time. I even got the cutest photo when she was done! We will definitely be back and will only be bringing our pups here from now on!

On my texts before the grooming day he said that there will me a "de-matting fee". Schnauzers cuts are shaved 3/4 tops of their body and left the bottom part and their legs hairy... That is not what I found when I get back home. I brushed my dogs the night before to make it easier. There was some matting but nothing a scissor and brush could fix. I have had Lhasa Apsos for 20 years and if someone really know hows about de-matting a dog is me. I'm just crazy busy. (Wo aren't) Del Valle, rather to spent a one hour or two (and charge me) with a scissor and a brush de-mattig the bottom part of my dogs (which wasn't that bad), without consent just shaved them all the way to their skin and gave me back two rat-looking dogs. I came home and was horrified with it. And charged me $150 Unfortunately, I will not use him again and will not recommend him. Totally unprofessional. As a groomer is easy to say "you should groom your dogs every 6 weeks". But when the time comes to REALLY show your skills and give back a beautiful dog and show that you can go the EXTRA MILE to please a client, you failed miserably! I don't feel good doing this review but no dog owner should NEVER have to go thru this disappointment. The only thing differently that he did that my cleaning lady couldn't do was to cut their nails.

Olga fit me into her busy schedule the same day that I needed my dog groomed due to a no show of my former groomer Brian of Island Dog Grooming in Oakland Park!! Not very professional. I was not happy. I was skeptical at first to use someone new but after reading reviews and talking to Olga I was assured that she would do a good job. Nixon, her husband, came over in the mobile air conditioned van and gently took my Princess and spent over an hour grooming her. I was very pleased how he groomed her. The change of our doggie losing her primary caregiver, moving down here with us and leaving the only groomer she knew was overwhelming. So it was a godsend when we found Kim. Kim cares a lot about your dog. Notice I didn't say she cares about dogs, although I'm sure she does. But she cares about your dog, as in your individual dog. That's not easy to find. She was really patient with our 13 year old dog and took really good care of her. When we first started bringing her here, Meko (our dog) was a bit nervous. Now, when I pull up, she's excited and happy to see her new little grooming family. The staff here is great and Kim makes you feel very comfortable bringing your dog here. If you're looking for a groomer and you're in the area, I'd definitely give her a try.

Kim O informed me that Pete might have an ear infection going on, so I popped into my vets and they agreed. They also told me that she does the best, cleanest ear plucking she has ever seen. This past time they damaged my dog's eyes. When we left he couldn't open his eye. I had to take him to the vet immediately. The vet records show it's a chemical burn on his cornea from shampoo. Plus he has always had a skin tag on his lower eyelid that the groomer should've been careful with. Now he's on antibiotics for his eye and pain meds and in a lot of pain wearing a cone and i can only hope he heals. I reached out and haven't heard back from Boss. I'm extremely disappointed to say the least. I'm angry, my baby is hurt, my vet bills should be reimbursed by Boss and if his eyes don't heal i don't know what i will do. To not even hear back after reaching out 12 hours ago at 8am is unacceptable.
