Very honest group to work with. I have done business with them for 20 years. Several times I have taken the car to them with the dangerous problem of "my car is not running right and please fix the TBD problem". This is a ripe situation for a dishonest group to rip you off. Has never happened with me with Delango's. They have done a good job of identifying the problem and getting me back on the road without unnecessary work. Their labor rates are consistent with local industry standards, but for me, the prime thing I worry about with repair places is honesty and they are exceptional in this category. This auto body shop asked me to come in for a follow up visit to a big repair they had made. They then found something completely different and wrong with my vehicle and charged me yet another large sum when I specifically said we weren't going to be fixing anything that day. They stuck me with the bill anyway. Would not recommend. read more

They cancelled on me at the last minute and promised me a discount on the next ride for the inconvenience. 2 weeks later they denied having promised me a discount and were rude. Further, they are vague about the price of the trip. If you ride with Delango (and I'd recommend you ride with taxi man instead), get the price ahead of time. read more

Doesn't anybody check this out at Yelp?! 2 are for a taxi service and one is for an auto body shop not even related to this business. Do the right thing and yank these reviews because this business is getting a bad rating because of it! That being said.....here is my review of the correct business. I have been going to Delango's for over 20 years. They have always treated me decent and I never had to refix any repair they did. That being said...I think once a new part was bad but that's not on them...that's the part company and it was repaired without additional cost. This service is the most unprofessional taxi in ny, the owner swears and blows the horn constantly while at the wassaic train,he charged us $4.95 a mile after not giving a quote anywhere near that.Doesnt accept credit cards and is near 90 years old he shouldnt be driving let alone running a taxi. They also have additional drivers that occasionally work for them. They're very reliable, though not always available, so phone well in advance. these guys are terrible... my car broke down in amenia and i had no place else to go so i was forced to go here....they over charged me for a radiaitor and thermostat...i drove around for a day and my temperature gauge was still going up so i went to my mechanic thinking i blew a head gasket and it turns out the thermostat they put in my car was bad. they are expensive and they didnt even fix the problem. my advice to anyone who ever breaks down in amenia is do not go to this place they will rip you off!!!!! read more
