Friday February 6, 2026 at 5pm. My serpentine belt and tensioner broke. Where nobody would be open over the weekend. Paul's Motors took my truck and said they would have it fixed by Saturday morning. They are open from 8am to noon. I was towed by Redl's Towing. Both are AAA approved. Both very courteous and professional. I appreciate the prompt care and assurance to my truck issue. I'm very confident in their work and fair pricing. I would take all my car care needs there for now on. I recommend both if ever you're in a jam. read more

We first visited Paul's Motors because we live practically next door. Fortunately, it ended up being a good choice, and we've been back many times. It's a pleasure to be recognized and given a friendly greeting whenever we bring the car in. The service is good, though there is sometimes a longer wait than anticipated. The only thing I really didn't care for was the fact that they swapped out our license plate holder for a "Paul's Motor's" branded one without asking. (I would have given permission if asked!) We had an amazing experience with Paul's Motors recently. A week after ordering new tires, one of them had a freak puncture that could not be repaired. Though it was due to no fault of the mechanic, they felt so badly about our experience that they replaced the useless tire at their cost. They really went above and beyond for us when they didn't have to. Definitely recommended! read more

These guys are great. They know their stuff, honest as can be, and deliver what they say, the way they say they will, at the cost they quote. I was in a place where they could have EASILY taken advantage of me, yet they told me what my problem was(and were definitive), what it would cost and when it would be done. They delivered perfectly, their price was reasonable, especially for the level of effort required. These people know who their customers are, what they want need and when they need it. Unreal, I took my Lexus for the maintenance service. This guy had no idea what needed to be done. Once he had the car in the back he raped me for a cabin air filter that I said I didn't want or need. He topped off fluids that I know were full. Disconnected a brand new battery, why? Aligned wheels that are brand new and they were perfectly aligned at Arlington tire. New wipers, forced down my throat. He failed to notice leaking struts and worn sway bars links. This is a high school level mechanic who's shop you will leave as a victim. High price for services not needed or wanted. Never again!!! read more

I am a college student who wasn't familiar with any auto mechanics in the area. So, I googled it and chose one with honorable reviews, which was Paul's Motors. I am so glad I came here over any other shop. Danny was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Many other mechanics might see a kid my age as an opportunity to take advantage. But here they simply performed the services I requested, not trying to intimidate me or sell me anything I didn't need. Best repair shop in the Hudson valley you know your in good hands all their mechanics are properly trained not just part changers!!

While their auto repair is good, but you will have to WAIT to have your car worked on because they do have lots of customers and diagnostically I trust them. Basically their prices are fair, they will work with you, but I would NEVER buy another expensive used car from them again. I bought a car from them that they told me they had "just put in a water pump and timing belt". Sadly, from the very beginning the car had so many other problems (thankfully I had purchased a warranty at the time) and still 7000 miles and a year later after purchase had to replace the water pump and timing belt that Pauls Motors would not honor even though they put it in and I only had 7000 miles on. Acura told me that Pauls used an inferior after market part and some adhesive which caused the Water Pump to leak and this caused my car to overheat. The coolant got on the timing belt, so that the timing belt would need to be changed. All told, I had to increase my credit line to pay for the extensive repairs, and I still have the rear main seal to repair plus the inner axle caps. Never buy an expensive used car from Pauls without a really good and extensive warranty. . read more
