The office is bright, serenely decorated, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in and felt very pampered and well taken care of. This was the first time my daughter tried the IV Therapy and they explained the whole process and the benefits of IV Vitamin Infusions. This was not my first time getting the infusion so I knew what to expect. Dr. Banfield easily got us set up which is amazing considering both my daughter and I are notorious for being challenging to successfully find a vein at the first go. We were very comfortable and relaxed during our session and even took advantage of getting additional saline to get extra hydrated for only $10 extra (it costs significantly more than that where I live). After being set up, Dr.Banfield gave us some privacy to relax and rejuvenate, checking in on us often to ensure we were ok. When we were done checking out and paying was very easy and quick. My daughter works full-time and goes to law school at night and not even 5mins after we left she told me how amazing and energized she felt and that she's convinced that this is something that she needs to do as part of her self-care...I couldn't agree more! The whole experience was professional, inviting/friendly, and custom-tailored. The cost of the services were the most affordable compared to other places I researched and there were no hidden fees or trying to upsell us any additional services or products (which I greatly appreciate). A lot of times I don't feel like I'm heard and, doctors are always telling me that I'm fine. But she really sat and listened to everything I had to say and all my concerns. I told her about my concern and she told me that she would be willing to do the test that I wanted, but also informed me that it will be most likely an out-of-pocket test. This gave me the reassurance that I wouldn't have to beg for the test that I wanted if I ended up wanting to take it and was willing to pay for it. Went in to see BLESSED for the first time, and she thought it was appropriate to completely remove that medication, and force me to come in for an annual exam to get back on it. After I came in for the annual, she further demanded a follow up NEGLECTING TO TELL ME she would NOT be refilling my life-saving medication. After calling the office, I was told I would have to pay another $95, on top of the $166 from the annual exam, if I wanted to have my prescription back, which again, KEEPS ME ALIVE! not to mention the entire time I've been at this practice (was seeing Dr. Rutledge before BLESSED, she wasn't any better) my severe stomach pain, joint pain, nausea, GI issues, and urinary incontinency have been completely ignored. Dr Amick spent hours with me going over everything that had occurred and spent many hours on his own researching possibilities. After a few tests and just 2 or 3 months he diagnosed me and solved the problem! Dr Amick is a fantastic doctor. He cares and also helps educate you on what's going on, never trying to talk over your head. I wanted a concierge service so I could deal with issues quickly as my mother was having mental decline due to vascular dementia. Dr. Maged and the staff have been wonderful over these last 2.5 years. Often my mother would complain of something and - if it was not an urgent issue - I'd leave an email with the MDVIP service. Dr. Maged would follow up with a phone call within 24 hours and either (a) talk things thru with me or (b) schedule an immediate visit for the next day. I have called the office with an urgent need first thing in the morning and the office always found a way to fit us in that day. My mother's mental decline has made for some difficulty with her as a patient - but Dr. Maged and the staff - always took time to listen to her and reassure her. They have been a wonderful support for me in caring for my mother and I would not change a thing. Dr. Maged is retiring and he took careful time and planning to introduce my mom to his replacement Dr. Crowe. We look forward to the same support, service and understanding as a patient at Internal Medicine Associates.
