I called trying to make sure my step son was safe and they refused to take the situation seriously. Mom is a career criminal and because she waved around out of date paperwork that actually was no longer in place they refused to speak to me in regards to his safety. I asked to have an officer sent to my home to get the REAL paperwork instead of the ones she had and they wouldn't. I spoke to 3 people and was hung up on. My step son was abused by his mother 3 years ago and she even threaten to kill him. She lost all custodial rights for 2 years. My husband has full residential custody due to the fact she violated the order. We only tried to get him to a safe place. The officers refused. It's sad when criminals are held in higher regard than hard working tax payers. She even defrauded her employee recently and was arrested for driving under the influence. Funny thing is I saw her driving after her license was seized. Either they put a stop to these kind of abusive mothers or I feel an internal investigation should be launched. Maybe the news should be made aware of their inability to collect the real evidence. I feel they would rather do the easy thing instead of doing actual police work. I have officers in my family so I support them but seriously these men and women need to step of their game. read more
